It creates a feeling that pricing is arbitrary and depends on who's behind the counter. Customer service was also a big issue. Staff came across as dismissive and unhelpful, which is a big reason I stopped going there altogether months ago. What pushed this from frustrating to alarming is that I recently had an unauthorized charge on my card from this location, despite not having been there in a long time. I've reported it to my bank and am treating it as fraud. Between the inconsistent pricing, poor service, and now a serious issue with my card, I would strongly recommend others be cautious when shopping here.

When it did not work, he told us the lighter had no charge. As non-smokers we took him at his word and bought another $10 lighter that looked like a mini-shotgun. We went home and it worked (as did the original torch, once the cover was tight!). But the next day the shotgun lighter did not work, despite being refilled with butane. I went back in today (Day 2 since the purchase) and the clerk could not fix it and would not replace it. He offered a 50% discount. No thanks! You got me for $15 and I'm done with you!
