This boy was rude and had no manners. Claimed I wasn't 21 because I didn't look like it. I'm 23. He looked at me like I was stupid and started insulting me. I walked out empty handed when usually I walk out with more than I came for. This is the kind of service that makes me not want to come ever again, and I'm greatly considering doing just that. Unless the owner is there do not go in it's not worth the harassment. I would not have this person working for me and driving my customers away while I'm not there.

Located in an historic building, the store is on the small side but well-stocked with pipes, cigars, tobacco, and accessories. There are comfortable leather chairs, a nice selection of beverages free to customers, and a friendly atmosphere. People who drop in quickly become "regulars" if they want to be social--and if that's not your speed, it's easy to relax and smoke by yourself. I'm a pipe smoker and appreciate the wide selection of pipes and tobaccos (including some rare or discontinued blends). Palmer, who works most weekends, helped me to choose my first pipe several years ago and is a terrific guy to hang out with when I stop in for a smoke. Stephen (Winky) works weekdays and we've had a great time exploring new blends and pipes as he delves into the hobby. And Brett, the owner, is a force of nature--always finding new, interesting things to offer. Very good for newbies and people looking to buy gifts for the pipe and cigar smokers in their lives. I've seen dozens of first-timers people walk in with some nervousness and leave with a smile. A brick and mortar like this is worth paying a little bit more than online (and it really is just a little bit more).
