Instead, a teacher I worked with that day told me there was a deli with a cafeteria hot meal bar in the gas station at Hwy 84. I chose country cooking over fast food and it was a terrific choice. There is a menu with sandwiches but I went with the meat and 2 choice. Today, the choices were BBQ Chicken, pork chops, or chicken tenders. I went with the BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, and blackeye peas. All of it made for a solid, homestyle, country cooking lunch. My lunch also included a massive piece of fried cornbread, apple cobbler, and sweet tea. Quite a meal with some tasty fixings that cost $9...a little more than fast food, but soooo much better in every aspect. Next time I work at the school in Wicksburg, I will be contemplating ways on how to make it up to Robert's Cafe.

A minimal amount of research can provide this information. Even with COVID, businesses we purchase from are responcible for our basic safe and well being while patronizing the establishment. This location lost a star due to the inadequate stock, operation, and lack of compliance to modern COVID health safety measures. I am certain this is the rare event, when management simply overlooked their employees distraction from these new guidelines. I will return. P.S. They are a pharmacy too.
