I've stopped here over the years more times than I can count. Whether on days I was traveling back and forth to Baltimore or DC for work or going to Deep Creek to enjoy the lake in the summer or Wisp in the winter or Ohiopyle anytime of the year. It's a great gas stations and it's easy on and off Interstate 68. They have just about anything you could want or need here from pizza, to chips, to lottery tickets, to liquor, to knick knacks, to souvenirs, to cheese sticks... you get my point. It's a great place to stop and get gas plus also grab a snack and drink. The people who work here are always nothing but friendly and helpful. After 2.5 hours on the road, in an unfamiliar town, stressed and exhausted, I pulled into the first place I saw -- Good To Go -- hoping the air pump could get me back on track. The pump wasn't working for me, and my panic was setting in when a kind stranger came out, checked my tire, and let me know it was completely shot -- and another wasn't far behind. Meet my guardian angel, Rick, who saw me stranded at the air pump and offered to fix my tire. I'm not going to lie, I was scared pulling into the area with a flat tire as a Black woman traveling alone on business, especially in this political climate, you never know who you are going to meet. Well I was immediately calmed when he walked up to me and told me he could fix my tire for me. His only ask was that I pass along the kindness if I ever come across someone in need. If you are in this area or passing through, please stop and visit for restrooms, gas, food, and some fun shopping! Really delicious pizza rolls, that's what they're known for. Also, so many varieties of items you could find something for anyone, especially that one person on your list that's so hard to buy for because you think they have everything. Highly recommend this stop to anyone passing through. The ladies behind the counter are always so friendly and helpful. Rick went above and beyond to help me after I had gotten into a car accident on the way to school in Morgantown. He got me coffee and offered a great (and safe) place to rest while waiting for other transport. I now try to make it a point to stop in when i'm passing through. I'm convinced the owner would give you the shoes on his feet if he knew it would help you get to where you're going! Not sure about what all the low reviews are about-- i've only had pleasant experiences here when in need of a gas tank fill up, rest stop, or pepperoni roll! If you have a dog DO NOT GO HERE! They have signs posted in the picnic area saying no dogs allowed. The owners driveway shares an entrance to the gas station and I was walking my dog around the gas station and he happened to set foot on their property. The owner was outside and screamed at me - not once - but twice "GET OUT OF MY YARD!" Signs need to be posted on the ENTIRE property - not just around the picnic table. This was one of our favorite stopping places but now we avoid this exit and continue on for an hour to Oak Barrel located at 35206 National Pike NE, Little Orleans, MD. Horrible owner! My wife and I frequently stopped here on our way to DC/Quantico. They have "no dogs allowed" signs in their picnic area only. So my wife was walking the dog around the other side of the gas station, and when she was returning to the car, the owner screamed at her and told her to "Get Out! Get out of my yard!". Well, he lives next to the gas station he owns, and she was in the driveway/parking lot!!! No signs there! But he publicly berated her and cussed at her. What a horrible person. Drove up the long road to the gas station, pulled into the station and up to a pump. When I got out of the car, they started shutting off all the lights and the pumps. I went up to the door, to try to get the employee to turn the pumps back on, I didn't need anything other than gas. She completely ignored me the whole time. I will not be returning to this Marathon, or any other marathon based on my experience here. read more

I selected a 12 chicken nugget from their deli and noticed they only had 11 pieces left, we waited for the waitress to put all the tenders in my box and start closing the lid, I then asked, did you have enough for a 12 piece and she said no, I'm only charging you for a 10 piece and giving you 11. I wondered if she knew I had counted them, until I called her out on it, or was she just trying to get one by me, hoping I didn't notice and still charging me for a 12 piece?... because she didn't say anything until after I pointed it out. Apon looking at the receipt, it showed they charge me for an eight piece tender and two tenders separate which were two dollars each tender! It ended up coming out to be more than a 12 piece! BS! Simple math? I think not! I would've been OK with her even throwing a wing in with a bone, she didn't even offer that even after I suggested it, and I'm sure it cost them less than a tender, unless they're charging two dollars per wing! read more

The owner I am assuming (he came from the house beside the store)was down right rude and nasty to myself and my 2year old daughter! My husband was inside using the restroom and getting ready to make a purchase until I sent a text asking him not to because of the incident outside. Horrible horrible horrible!! We were parked at a pump mind you we had not been parked there even 4 minutes (little did he know we were going to get gas) he had no clue what I was doing could have asked if we needed some sort of help as he did not know my situation. But instead he rudely banged on my car better be glad you didn't leave any marks on my dodge charger either or you would be liable for damages and said you're at a diesel pump if you are not getting diesel you need to leave. ( which I hadn't even noticed yet, I had not gotten my card out of my wallet (was in the process) and I would have known once I stepped out of my car that I was at a diesel pump.
