Normally, I waffle back and forth between loving and hating the look. NOT THIS TIME, FOLKS. Leah is incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and it truly showed in the consultation she gave me. She was very realistic about what colors my hair could achieve, gave me sound advice in the best cut to frame my face, and how to give me movement and volume since my natural hair is flat and straight. So I meet with Pam on Thursday at the shop and she gives me a consultation, then goes with me to pick out hair at Sally's (which I TOTALLY appreciated since I hadn't a clue what to buy). Friday morning I arrived at the shop at 10am. We did a conditioning treatment first just to help my poor hair get some type of strength before adding the weave. She started braiding around 11 (my entire head) and then sewed in the hair that I had purchased. Once all of the braiding was finished, she cut and styled it to my liking. The before and after pictures speak for itself. I am just AMAZED at how natural it looks! Pam is very professional, caring, obviously loves what she does for a living, and truly has helped me to feel beautiful (5 12/ months pregnant and all).
