At this point, I should have just cancelled the groupon but I just figured she was frustrated and gave her the benefit of the doubt. I rescheduled. I finally got my massage and when I arrived, she was just as rude as she was the first time. For whatever reason though, I still had the massage. Honestly, the massage itself was pretty good. When we were finished however, I looked at my phone to see that it was less than a 40 minute massage, I paid for an hour. When I emailed to inquire as to why it was so short she explained that the actual massage is 50 minutes hands on and we started early. I quickly pivoted and asked if I could get another 4-hand massage and it worked out. The front desk woman even remembered me once I told her about my last visit. The women are very professional and twice now have had a particularly strong one work on my back. I have a cluster of deep muscles that are the bane of my existence by my shoulder blades. A lot of massage therapists I go to will get to that area but not dig in to the level that I need for meaningful relief. These women find the knots and actually work them out one by one.
