It is an Anusara Inspired Reduced heat yoga class and the cost is $5 for 90 minute. This is the first Anusara Inspired class I ever took, as I don't really know what to expect. From the website "Anusara is an elegant practice based on Universal Principles of Alignment and following a heart-centered Tantric philosophy. Expect detailed instruction in the alignment of each pose and transition, within a class that holds the spiritual purposes of praticing yoga as paramount. Reduced heat. Suitable for all levels." Hmmm does it sounded a little boring when they talk about spirtual, philosophy and this or that?? And it is suitable for all levels... will it be another those chanting class doing easy poses?? I was in for a surprise. The instructor is one of the best I ever have in any Moksha studios!! She is so patient and encouraging giving instructions in a calm and soothing voices. The class was challenging with non stop flow...with no breaks!! Though it is a reduced heat class, I was dripping in sweat... drip drip drip on my mat!! The poses are more challenging than their usual Moksha series. A mixture of hand balancing poses and a lot of hip openers. And of course I did learn something about muscle energy VS organic energy and trying to get their balance.... ok ok no more blahing... Though the practice room was a little runned down! But I definitely be back for another CC Anusura Yoga class!

Reset Studio Pilates and Wellness is the newest wellness boutique located along the waterfront…read more(near Sugar Beach!). In terms of the services they provide, they have small group Pilates classes (reformer), contrast therapy (cold plunge and infrared heat sauna), facial services, IV therapies, body treatments (laser hair removal or body sculpting), as well as acupuncture. Reset Studio recently had their grand opening event which I attended on March 21st. They welcomed the community with free Pilates classes, tours of the space, a live DJ, treats (waffles, wellness shots, cookies, coffee), a photobooth, as well as exclusive deals with discounts off all their services. There was also a chance to win a month of unlimited Pilates or a free signature facial. I was able to do a 30 min reformer Pilates class during their event. The wellness boutique space is accessible, where as soon as you enter you check in with the front desk. There are multiple treatment rooms available for body treatments, IV therapies, as well as acupuncture. The contrast therapy room consists of the cold plunge, infrared sauna, shower, all the amenities you need to relax as well as freshen up (hair dryer, shampoo, etc.). There is also a nice small lounge area for consultations. There is a washroom near the end of the hallway, however, I believe that it is the only washroom available for all guests. The reformer Pilates studio is to the right when you walk into the space. The room consists of 8 reformers where there are lockers inside the room (the staff give you the keys to the lockers as they are magnetic). Change room wise, it is likely best to have your workout gear on prior to class. As for a refillable water station, staff indicated that they do not have this at the moment but the fridge at the front will be stocked with water (likely you'll have to pay for this?). Again, bring your own water to your classes as well! Grand opening day was busy! The space is small so it was difficult to navigate as there were many people mingling about as well as waiting for class. It was really nice that the public was able to learn more about the boutique's services and what they provide. I did see that many people signed up for memberships and services the day of. It did get a bit hot and stuffy due to the amount of people but this won't be the case on a regular day. In terms of the Pilates class, our instructor, Chloe, led us through a full body reformer flow, targeting our arms, legs, glutes, and core. She also was mindful and asked if anyone had any injuries or limitations she should know of. The machines used on the opening day were actually rentals as the actual reformer machines the studio ordered were delayed in their delivery. The rental reformer machines were not the greatest but our instructor did a great job with guiding the class. She also apologized at the end of class for the state of the reformers as well but was really nice (not her fault regarding the rentals!). The reformer room is nice and spacious where there is ample room. The small class size of 8 also provides the instructor the ability to correct people's form (and our instructor asked for consent to do this as well before class!). Overall, a small new boutique Pilates and wellness studio along the waterfront that will be a welcome addition to the neighbourhood! There isn't anything like this around the area and the many services and Pilates classes they have will definitely allow you to relax and reset your mind and body.

Having a holistic approaches, love of plants and great energy. You don't feel rushed, panicked or like you are just a number (like many clinics do). My sessions are usually in his home that has a very good and natural vibe. The table is setup in a perfect location to feel the warmth of the sun or the heater. There are beautiful plants that you are surrounded with along with your preferred massage music (or none of you prefer quiet). He works on problem areas, provides recommendations for stretches and will check in to see if you're ok. I'm very impressed and this has resulted in me being a repeat customer; benefits or no benefits (yup, because he is that good). P.S. He also does mobile massages that I have not experienced as I am quite close but if you can't get to him, he may come to you (no idea what his practicing areas are but give him a shout).

Since I was a newbie, some of the others talked to me afterward and said stuff like how hard it was for them in the beginning too. One of the few Ashtanga places in GTA.

They now have an unlimited monthly pass for $40 which is a deal! There is a strong sense of community and belonging in this west end yoga studio. East to West Yoga studio is such a welcoming, relaxing environment that nourishes and soothes your body, mind and soul. I highly recommend East to West Yoga and Pilates!

After my injurious first exposure to yoga at a different studio, this place has redeemed the practice for me. Susie, the owner and instructor I've been with for the past couple weeks, is incredibly knowledgeable in a way where she's able to simplify anatomy concepts for regular people to understand. I'm incredibly impressed with her safety cues and modifications to make poses easier or harder to accommodate a diverse class. She also seems to have an uncanny ability to figure out what we need stretching from any particular day and prescribes poses that target those areas. I had tight calves and another yogini had a tight lower back, one day. Susie just somehow honed in on that without even asking us and stretched our posterior chain that entire class. For the quality you're getting, the price is a bargain.

It's hard to rate this place because the service varies depending on which physiotherapist you get…read more I've used them for three different issues over several years. The first time I had an amazing Physiotherapist who used a combination of stretching and strengthening exercises as well as acupuncture. The problem was solved. The second time the person I dealt with was useless only giving me one stretching exercise to repeat over and over. I was told I needed to keep coming back indefinitely even though the problem wasn't improving. I could have done the exercise at home daily for free with the same result. I should have been told that the problem would resolve itself over time but they wanted my money from repeat visits. The third time the physiotherapist was experienced and helpful but lacking in kindness and interpersonal skills. She was blunt and insulting, referring to people over 40 as old and lazy even though I'm active and walk at least 30 minutes a day. My issue required more than 2 weeks to fix. She had given her 2 weeks notice before I started. So they knew that I'd have to start over with someone else when I made my first appointment. I didn't find this out until her last day at work. Her replacement was fresh out of school with no experience and not helpful at all. The location is on level 3 of the Promenade Shopping Centre. There's an elevator near the entrance by Customer Service. There's adequate parking.

The moment they opened up, I sent a message for a massage appointment and received a response quickly from them. I've come here for 2 massage appointments already since the opening (one of the massages with reiki). The experience was absolutely amazing! Lena is an AMAZING RMT and I'm so happy I found her and Be Well. She's such a talented, beautiful soul that I feel relaxed after the massage, but also feel at a much positive head space afterwards. It's a great bonus that they are also able to bill my insurance company directly. Be Well also has a great variety of products that you can buy - candles, sage, CBD oils.I had trouble sleeping for a few weeks and asked Lena about the CBD oils. She recommended me the 600 mg CBD oil spray, and it has definitely helped me at bedtime and also achieve a more calm head space. This is for sure my new favourite place for massage, and soon to be physio. Plus I'm looking forward to trying their other services in the future like any of the medi-spa services!
