My Aussie (9 year old) and I have been attending class for several months now. Robyn and her Team have been extremely supportive of my chatty girl Sammie. Let me assure you that you can teach an old dog new tricks. Or at least better manners... it's interesting to see the drastic improvement from the younger students as well. Robyn makes learning fun for both the pet and the owner, everything is taught with a gentle touch, putting the animal first. If you're considering dog training to help you and your pet, you'd be hard pressed to find better instructors than Robyn and her Team. Sammie gives them 5 woofs as well! (She always has to have the last word.) read more

TLDR: Goode Dog Training has an excellent staff, phenomenal communication, and is a worthy investment into the connection and communication between you and your pup! Robyn helped me work with basic obedience right after I got my Hazel while Robyn was still at PetSmart. It was immediately clear that she has a next-level understanding of how to translate what our human expectations are into language and consistency our pups can understand. She is efficient and yet effective at explaining why the techniques she teaches work. Well a couple years passed and, for the first time since I adopted Hazel, I was going to be traveling somewhere she couldn't come. While looking for solutions, I considered a Board and Train situation but was weary of trusting my pup to just anyone. By complete happenstance, around the same time I ran into Robyn and her husband while running errands! Lo and behold, they had started their own training company and would board and train Hazel for me. I was so relieved! This was the first time I had left Hazel with anyone other than family and the first time she'd been left for more than a night. Robyn and her staff took great care in communicating. Hazel is a breed mix of some famously smart and stubborn breeds. Training effectively requires consistency and, most importantly, cooperation from the owner. Robyn and her staff excel equally at working with the dog and 'training' the owner. I am so excited to continue learning and working with Goode Dog Training to give Hazel and myself the best possible foundation. I couldn't recommend them highly enough! read more

Robyn has worked with us to train both of our dogs. She's done wonders with our COVID puppy (now 1yr old), who was extremely nervous and aggressive toward other dogs. We've made great progress with him in a in just a couple months. He's now able to just let another dog walk by without any growling, barking or staring. Going for a walk is much more enjoyable now. Well worth the money spent. read more

We've used Robyn for training our last three dogs back when she worked at PetsMart. Since the Covid19 hit she started out on her own. At the moment she is helping us with a dog that had some issues with our house move. She does a great job with the dogs and they love her. We plan on using her some more in the future. read more

They have veterinarians close by and the pets are SECURE. The whole complex is IMMACULATELY clean! I know business is about making money, but I do not get that "feeling" here. Dogs unconditionally give us their all, even when we don't treat them as they deserve. We could learn a lot from them. They deserve to be treated like the family they are to us. At Punky's Canine Club (PCC), dogs can be on vacation while you're away. We allow dogs to be dogs, to roam freely, socialize and play under supervised conditions. At PCC, dogs are only crated by necessity. That does mean guests have to meet some simple requirements (listed on our website) so all can be safe and happy. PCC is also our home, so dogs are almost never left alone. If they must be due to necessity or emergency, they are crated and monitored by CCTV. This is a family business. We love and care for every dog in our care as if it were our own. We have leather furniture and large screen TV for the couch potatoes and plenty of toys and space for all. I bit the bullet took her to VEG ER for Pets, only to find out she had advanced congestive heart failure. I don't believe in putting animals down, so I went for surgery. The team was great, they did everything they could ultrasound, removed 2 12 once cans of fluid which was preventing her from eating. They gave me some discounts making the emergency visit more reasonable then normal. I get home with her, let her come out of the carrier by herself, then she moved over to the couch stayed there for some time, then she jumped off the couch heading to the bedroom wobbling, then i heard the most horrible scream of pain and she just fell. I went to pick her up she was limp, I shook her and she came too, called the vet then went back, while driving to the vet she was talking to me, when I arrive, they start working on her and her heart stopped. I told them DNR. They brought me into a consoling room to be with her gave me as much time as I wanted. Finally, when I was ready to leave, they offered cremation services which was very expensive, so I declined they gave me a cardboard coffin and went back home to do some research. While conducting research I found Pet Passages online. They made the process very easy, you order online, you bring your animal in then they take care of the rest. I like the fact pricing is all up front, no games, no guesses. The owner was really nice and totally understood what I was going through, he just lost his dog a few weeks ago. He pulled Josie out put her out on the table you see here attached. The waterfall feature in the room made it perfect to hold her one last time and greave. May she rest in peace.

I called to see if I could make an appointment for an anesthetic full body shave for my cat. Canyon Creek said they needed a blood test. I asked if I could get the blood test done at a different vet location as I am on social security now and their blood work is a bit pricey. At first they said, yes. That they would do the sedated shave and accept the other office's blood work, then they abruptly came back and said NO, that they would not be doing my sedated shave and I was no longer their client. I asked the receptionist to clarify her statement and she said I was no longer a client and she had other customers to help, and hung up the phone. I couldn't believe I was being tossed aside just because I needed to cut back on my spending at the vet. And they said they would help me, then said they wouldn't and then - go away.

My dog was suffering from very irritated skin from allergies, and he needed a refill of his apoquel…read moreprescription. So I took him into the office because he desperately needed it that same day, and I wanted to show them why. After the front desk person went to ask the dr, they came back and said they wouldn't give me a refill because it had been more than 6 months since my dog had been in for a well visit. I told them I would bring him in the next day if I could just get 1 pill to last him until tomorrow. Instead of having any kind of sympathy for the pain my dog was in, the dr refused me the 1 pill until I came in the next day and paid for an office visit. Mind you, she never even stepped out of her office to talk to me herself, or to see the pain my dog was in. The front desk person told me I had to drop him off early that next morning so they could fit him in, in which he would be left in a kennel most of the day which he is not used to. But since I was given no other option, I had to put my dog through more discomfort in order to get the medicine that would help him feel better. So I dropped him off at 7:45 the next day, and was called by the dr later that afternoon to pick him up. All she did was try to upsell me with antibiotics and flea medication over the phone. I told her I order his flea medication online, and I didn't think antibiotics were needed (because the apoquel has worked just fine by without antibiotics for the past 3 years that I've been giving it to him, even though the dr was trying to convince me it wouldn't be as effective without them). Once I arrived to pick him up, he was very anxious from being left in the kennel all day. There was a bag with his medicine in it waiting at the front desk for me, with a written prescription that I didn't ask for inside. (I usually order the medication online because it's cheaper than buying it from the vet). So when I went to order his apoquel online, a written prescription wasn't an option for online submission. It had to be called in and verified, or you have to mail in the written script, which adds an extra week to the time it takes for the medication to be filled. So I chose the option to submit the vet's contact information so they could approve the script over the phone. The doctor then denies the online request because they gave me a written prescription that I didn't ask for, and never even called to tell me they denied it. So once I realized my online order was still on hold after a week, I called the office and they told me they wouldn't approve the online request until I drove 40 min out of my way to bring the written script back to the office. ....Following my yelp review, I was contacted by the office manager Lori. Not to ease any of my concerns, but to defend the way they handled the situation. Patronizing me, telling me I know nothing about how a veterinary clinic works. She then told me she was cancelling my vet service with their clinic, and emailed me my pet's records. What she didn't give me a chance to tell her was that I've studied dog nutrition extensively for the past 3 years, and I understand that they push unnecessary medications and vaccines in the entire healthcare industry (which I've worked in for the past 15 years myself, and just stepped away from because they push for profit instead of advocating for patient care) so I'm not blinded by the fact that it is no different in veterinary practice since they are taught by the same institutions that are funded by the pharmaceutical industry. All pet owners should watch the documentary 'Pet Fooled' to see what's happening behind the scenes that we aren't told about. Bottom line..terrible customer service and repeatedly unsympathetic doctor. I will never go back to this place.
