We loved the approach to training and the results. Our lab puppy was with them for board and train and came back a new dog. We made a reservation and I went out to make sure it was a nice place for our two girls. Nice people, accommodating for us to come visit. I was invited into their home... I asked where do you keep the dogs and she said she would show me...so we walked to a room that was lined with kennels - with dogs. Then we went outside to the play yard but no one was playing in the yard. Seemed they had a nice area and everything was clean, but my girls would bee so sad to have to stay in a small kennel until play time... and how often is playtime... once or twice a day depends on how much you pay. I didn't feel good about leaving my girls here and once I got in the car, called my husband and we agreed this wasn't the place for us... but by the time I got home, they called and said they didn't feel it was a "good fit"... no joke... I think I asked too many questions. I wouldn't recommend this sketchy place. read more

We took our Alaskan Malamute Ruger to Jungle Camp for the board and train, and he ended up staying almost three weeks. I have always trained my own animals and needed help since we have two Alaskan Malamute puppies who were more interested in each other than learning manners Although three weeks seemed like forever we couldn't be happier with the results!! Linda and her daughter have a wonderful facility and treated Ruger like a part of the family. Linda is incredible at training! Oh my gosh! We brought Behr home today after his board and train. He was there for a couple weeks. Let me just say...WOW! What a HUGE difference!! The change in obedience and following commands is literally a complete 360! I could tell from the moment we got to Jungle Camp Pet Resort that he was at ease and loved Linda! She is so patient and loving with all the dogs and it definitely shows. We're bringing home a sister for Behr in December and he is now ready to help us welcome her home! A friend recommended Jungle Camp to us for training our mini goldendoodle. We made the appointment - showed up on time - took the tour. Nice kennel - the dogs were well taken care of. The training facility was super nice, well appointed, and suited for multiple training needs. We had a good and detailed conversation with Linda, the owner, and we could just tell this was the right place for our puppy. Three weeks of training and our puppy is well mannered, still just as fun, but minds, walks on a loose leash, and does all the things we requested and more! Please note: when you make the appointment the other dogs on site will be in the kennel - it would be crazy to have all the dogs loose at once trying to visit to make a decision about training! But honestly, Linda knows here stuff! She is an excellent trainer, and she did wonders with our little girl...and us. We are now spending quality time, reinforcing properly the training learned, and we are all enjoying each other a whole lot more! Thanks Linda! I highly recommend you and your training! read more

My husband rescued Blanca, a little female white pit bull or pit mix. She was friendly with people but quite wild and we had trouble with Blanca fighting with our other two dogs, Bella and Bishop. After receiving a recommendation, we took Blanca to Linda Mangun for "boot camp" where Blanca made enormous progress. Her aggression subsided to a great extent. She and Bishop are best friends and I am able to walk Bella and Blanca without any tussles (at least none in a long time). Her progress is measureable and we continue to work with her per Linda's instructions. Linda did a great job working with Blanca's aggression and she was able to meet quite a few other dogs at Jungle Camp and is much more comfortable around other dogs. In fact, she's just more calm and comfortable in general. Blanca has improved on the loose leash and now obeys many commands: sit, stay, down, leave it, watch me and roll over. She also excelled at and enjoyed the agility training Linda provided. All this in Linda's safe home and under her loving, watchful and capable hands. Not only is Blanca much better but my husband and I learned how to be more effective trainers and picked up valuable information regarding how to do our jobs as responsible pet owners. read more
