My car began making a sound I had never heard before, the engine light came on and long story short, I wound up broke down on the side of the road. I called the first towing company that came up on my search and it was A1 towing. I explained my problem and they were there faster than I thought they'd be. The gentleman that came to assist was named Wes and he could not have been more professional or kind. Instead of just towing my car, he went through every probable cause to see if he could get it running. This is the first time I had ever seen a business put the customer over making a buck! When he couldn't find the problem he hooked up my car then actually drove me home! I lived out of his way and yet he never charged me for gas. He suggested a mechanic and towed my car there. His kindness and professionalism at 2 in the morning was something that will stay with me. I will recommend A1 towing to anyone that needs a towing service. Absolutely the best!

To the person (Kate) complaining and giving a poor rating because of your lack of understanding of how to drive. You wrote: "On the freeway he was too busy doing his "Gangster lean" to let merging traffic on; they had to slow back down and wait for him to pass so they could merge onto the freeway. (Really dude?) Obviously he should have moved into the EMPTY fast lane next to him." That driver is in no way obligated to slow down, move over, or make any adjustments to his driving in order to let anyone on the freeway. It is 100% the responsibility of the person merging onto a freeway to adjust their speed to enter the lane. Don't believe me? Try looking up ORS 811.2851 Failure of merging driver to yield right of way. In laymams terms if you "shared a lane" with the tow truck YOU WERE VIOLATING THE LAW, (Class B Violation). You should learn to drive before you slam a company for their drivers lawful driving. Have a nice day.

Things were going smooth until we turned onto a freeway entrance and the axel of our car snapped and we were unable to move. First of all, the people of canyonville are amazing. Long story short, towing company recommended Bill's since they were the only ones near and open (it was around 6pm) We get to Bill's and they're so friendly. Quoted us an extremely affordable price and told us it'd be done by noon the next morning. Perfect! Doesn't stop there; since we are from out of town and have our cat with us, they personally drive us in one of their trucks to a near motel that accepts pets. We get in for the night, next morning we walk back to Bill's and the car is ready to go and it's 10am! Upon inspection, the new mechanic was absolutely appalled by the amount of rust damage. Three boys auto tried to spray paint and cover up all this damage... The price tag on the check was a little over eight grand. The mechanic I took the truck to advised us not to purchase the truck and that the truck would definitely break down sooner than later. What a complete trash company trying to screw people over to make a sale. I'm going to educate everybody in Southern Oregon about this trash auto company. If you find yourself dealing with the scam artist, please do yourself a favor and get a second opinion, These guys are crooks and should not be trusted.
