But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. We had several zoom calls discussing the plan and making minor revisions to ensure it met our needs. Her design is spot on for our space. This company provides the landscape care for the townhouse development I live in. They damage our shrubs, trees and turf on a regular basis, and I have yet to see them repair anything they damage. In winter, their trucks knock down street signs all over the development, damage curbs, and lawns with careless plowing. The picture below is of damage done to the lawn adjacent to my townhouse. The lawns are very obviously too saturated to use heavy equipment on but the Shwaders crews persist despite the damage they are doing.

I folded up the fence fabric and Taylor expertly cut off the top branches such that they precisely landed just a few feet from the fence posts. The other tree was in the front yard and it, too, was fallen with precision. When done he spent a long time to thoroughly clean the area. His bid was very competitive. Highly recommend! So this company is TERRIBLE and I've never hired them. I just get the misfortune of 10+ calls every…read moreweek from them and I've never used them and I'm on the do not call list and I googled weed man spam calls and WOW tons of people reporting the same thing. Not sure what their deal is but they are illegally ignoring the do not call list (which technically you could sue them for) and they call non stop and I have no interest in every hiring them and going by all the recent 1-2 star reviews seems like the few people that do hire them are disapointed. So guess that's why they need to constantly call to try and get new customers since the people that hire them hate them so much. My suggestion is AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs. Hire weed man at your own risk!

She was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and made sure she included special plant requests into our plan. I especially appreciated that she is an advocate for plants that are native to our area. She also educated us on how we could easily add a rain garden to another area of our yard. She even accompanied me to the garden center to help shop for the right planters to frame up our front door. She can do as little or as much as you'd like for your landscaping projects -- from providing a plan to serving as the project manager, buyer and/or planter to implementing the entire plan from start to finish. She offered to make them for us, dropped them off, maintained them, and we received many compliments all year long!
