They hire & retain Klein High School students who are polite and respectable (no body art, nose rings or piercings, foul language, colored hair or brow hitches) who are mostly college bound. The students are generally delightful, informative, mature, helpful and garnish a memorable experience for such a family oriented business and community. The market provides an open air environment with no smoking or vaping which is nice. It is not fancy and is typical of a farmer's market establishment. The prices are fair and reasonable which is the reason they've been in business for years.

Today I was there on a rainy day, and the vendors were still there and ready for their customers. This morning I got up bright and early at 630a to help set up tents, tables and chairs, signage for all the vendors to use; met the market mgr Candy (she's awesome) I talked to a lot of people (which I love) and i helped sell Morgan Elementary schools veggies from their garden. I bought some fresh kombucha from 3rd Coast and fresh homemade tamales from, momma's tamales in Houston. It started raining and lightning around 1045a; I needed to leave at 11am so it all worked out. It also ensures you will get the produce and/or products before they dell out. All of the vendors were friendly and eager to talk about their merch. I recommend visiting as early as possible since we were there around 1pm and most vendors had about half if not less than what they started with.

Met one of the owners, Renee Hillman who opened this farm to the public in 2006; sweet lady. The Hillman family are well known in these parts from farms to everything fish/marine life. This farm is beautiful and no doubt, lots of work; I'm very appreciative to them. Today, I enjoyed picking blueberries, herbs and various mints I didn't know existed but am so excited to taste. I'll definitely be a regular from now on. Support farmers. But local.

We have been many times, and love it each time…read more This week (Spring Break) they had "Kidding around with baby goats:" 11 Nigerian Dwarf Goats that were 1-2 weeks old, bunnies, and chickens! They have a playground, and a pop up shop filled with assortments of tomato plants and herbs, homemade goat milk soap, freshies, cowboy candy & jam for sale! All of these products are handmade from ingredients found at the farm! We had the best tour guide for the hayride, Mr. Wilson. Mrs. Renee was in the pen with the goats, and letting a few lucky people bottle feed 2 babies. Melinda was helpful and nice in the pop up shop tent. Nothing was ready to be harvested yet, but we will be back in a few weeks for blueberries.
