Well, what can I say. I needed a tile job done and I received a referral from Ron Phillips from GasPro about Barb Goodrich. Ron's subcontractor who normally works for him flaked out and he got me in touch with Barb. Barb was prompt. She came into the job 20 minutes early and was ready to work. I was getting some tile done around a recent fireplace insert. She got my opinion on how I wanted the tiles placed and how far down the wall I wanted them. She went as far as taping off the area a couple of different ways so as to give me a view of how it would look. That was the first time anyone had ever spent time explaining how it might look this way or that way and I found it very helpful. She spent all day here but it was well worth it. First, let me say that our bathroom remodel happened a year ago. Work was started just three weeks before covid shut Oregon down, but Barb and her crew continued to show up to get the work done. We kept everything sanitized and maintained distance while they were in the house. There were some delivery issues that delayed the project a bit, but at the end of the day, we got the beautiful shower and bathroom we wanted. What can i say! I found Barb and Crew working on a full remodel in our neighborhood in Oak Hills. As nosy neighbors we were walking by and - we hoped for a tour. Barb was nothing by inviting and proud to show us a beautiful home remodel. Months later we finally got her to come and bid our Master Bath. From the beginning Barb and Blue were on time for our meeting, kept to task, provided ideas (if asked), listened to what my ideas were and how they could make them happen. She has AMAZING Subs who are also on time, work hard and are personable. They, like Barb, answer questions, give ideas and made our Master bath a dream come true. I was kept in the loop the entire project. Our Master Bath started on time and finished late, BUT it was because i kept finding little things that could be fixed, corrected, or enhanced to make my home look better and better. We recently finished a complete home renovation with Goodrich Renovations and was delighted with the result and the experience of working with Barb, her business partner Blue and her team. A few highlights...we renovated a home in Oak Hills (Beaverton) built in 1966. The entire house was renovated including removal of walls, relocation of laundry room / bathrooms, new kitchen / bathrooms, flooring, windows, electrical, popcorn ceilings refinished, etc. The entire project started in earnest and was completed in 12 and a half weeks. Highlights of working with Barb and her team include the close knit crew of sub-contractors that she has established. Her close relationship means that timelines are kept and work is done to a high standard. Barb also brings a good sense of final vision for the project but incorporates homeowner input into the design process. A key note that gives insight into Barb's work ethic and standards...the job site is kept immaculately clean - Barb's crew is constantly sweeping and putting down paper to protect floors and baseboards. The entire site is kept clean including the dumpster and working materials. The final comment is that work is done right or gladly fixed.
