During the past year I had good experiences at Goodskin Dermatology. I had a bump on a leg calf that was slowly expanding. Ms. Dougherty examined it and concluded that it was skin cancer. She presented the treatment options, the best being Mohs surgery to remove the problem. A nice man named Dr. Vance did the surgery. I felt no pain during the process, but was reluctant to look at the site after the surgery. Then I was surprised that I could almost not see where it happened because it was closed so well. I had postponed having lazer work on my face skin because I thought it would be expensive. I was pleased to learn that it is not expensive, although it may not be covered by health insurance. Goodskin Dermatology also provides Aesthetic Dermatology treatments. I made an appointment and met Leslie Nuno who is a Certified Advanced Aesthetician. She explained the treatment with a Vbeam laser and the cost, including a discount if you pay for three sessions in advance. Ms. Nuno skillfully provided a series of beneficial treatments to me. The location is easy to get to, and the building is thoughtfully designed to be open and welcoming. The staff were quick to greet me and help me get established in their system, and then took me back to my patient room within minutes of completing that process. Once there, the provider was also quick to see me, and the whole process was again very quick and efficient. This is the model other medical offices should look to for their systems. I have seen Heather Hallowell at the Clackamas office for various concerns and I like her. It's usually fairly easy to get an appointment without waiting weeks and weeks. The drawback is that they will only deal with one issue per appointment, even if that issue only takes a few minutes. The last place I went to would deal with various concerns in one appointment (assuming that none of them took an extraordinary length of time). read more

Dr. Aanderud is the best he is profession and also kind. He is a master of his craft and his staff is amazing. My barber found a spot on my ear and I called the office and they got me in the next day. Dr. Aanderud took a biopsy and called me and told me I needed to have it removed. They got me in two days later and removed a substantial portion of my ear. He then did a skin graft and you can't tell it was ever touched. Dr. A has amazing people skills and I would go no where else but Goodskin Dermatology. read more
