This is a pretty nice Goodwill! It's spacious, there's tons of products, everything is always updated, AND everything is organized by size. Wow!!! I'm from LA... the Goodwills in my neighborhood don't organize or separate anything by size. The service is good too- the cashiers were very polite and helpful while we made a big purchase of a bunch of small things. As far as value goes, in the vast expanse of California thrift stores - Goodwill is on the pricier side. Thats the only reason I'm deducting a star here. read more

Look! This is hard. This is definitely a hard one to write. I love thrifting. Ive been a loyal goodwill supporter for literally 30 years. Not only donate regularly, but love to shop there. HOWEVER!!!! The prices are absolutely ridiculous. $9 for a broken bracelet.....$20 bucks for a broken bag.....I'm so confused. Y'all need to take a step back and see what you are.doing wrong. The employee in the back lets you unload your car before they close and then comes out after they close and says you can't leave your donation they are closed in a rude and demeaning manner. We are leaving nice stuff to try and do good. Don't purchase from this store. Please have someone else in the back that wants to help people. read more

Great selection of children's toys, clothing, books and more, with restrooms, changing rooms, sweet and very helpful staff! On Friday I purchased a bag of sandbox toys and a Disney pail bucket for my little one's adventures to the nearby park to play in the sandbox, so she could have her own instead of having to borrow and be able to share too if a kid doesn't have one! So far they work great and all the kids enjoyed playing with them at the park with her in the sandbox yesterday, other than the shovels being a bit brittle and 1 cracking after I helped her scoop some sand, then again for a whole bag of sand toys it was only $0.69, which is a bargain, so I don't mind replacing or trying to mend it for her! She loved the toys so much that she put them into the bath at bath time to play with and enjoyed pouring water into the pail bucket! I would definitely recommend this location, it's a thrift store, so it's a bit messy, but a lot more organized compared to other locations I've visited! Also every item sold in their stores goes towards training for jobs for people searching, etc! read more

This Goodwill has kept much of the Thrift Town "layout" as it was. They have really sweet employees and some of the funniest "weird" items I've come across. They are still having issues with pricing. I broke my own rule and went back to check it out. I found a couple things that I could just *barely* justify paying for, but I was still seeing pricing that is completely out of control. Once again five stars for customer service and one star for pricing. read more

This is a brand new Goodwill that is in the former Thrift Town building. It opened April 2. We liked shopping at Thrift Town and miss it because they always had specials and sales. I don't think Goodwill ever does sales or promotions. Because it is new it is fully stocked to the rafters. Prices are higher than what we paid at the Thrift Town stores. read more

Normally don't have any problems here, I understand it's understaffed and people are underpaid- however today an employee unlocked my dressing room without knocking (if he did try to check it was quiet and it wasn't obvious) to ask if anyone was inside. Mistakes happen but it was an extremely uncomfortable situation for both of us and I'd think this is something that needs to be taken with more precaution. Won't feel comfortable trying stuff on in the future if they're just going to unlock the door with little to no warning. read more

Happened upon this Goodwill location while looking for Walgreens. I was excited at how big the store was compared to other Goodwills throughout Sacramento, and I was giddy like a kid on Christmas, anticipating all the treasures I would find. After a few minutes in the store, my "Christmas" hopes had dashed like Dasher. Lots of women's clothing that shouldn't have been accepted (dingy whites, holes, permanent wrinkles), inappropriate pricing (used Torrid dress for $19.99) that could be purchased from new for same amount. Small section of literature and furniture was really shocking given the size of the store. Overpriced wall art, but good variety of Christmas decor for next year. As a brand, Goodwill really needs to shape it up and understand what brands are trending, what brands are cheap, and price accordingly. Would not return to list location although I did get an apple corer and a everyday bag to carry my work binders in. read more

This is one of the cleanest most organized Goodwills around. The store is huge! They have new things everyday and their prices are great. Sundays you can get half off one tag color. The sale color changes every Sunday. They have big half off storewide sales on most major holidays and they're having one next Monday on the 14th. I'll be there! I dropped off a CARLOAD of items 0n 9/18/21 at about 3:00 and the guy who took them from me was the absolute RUDEST person I have encountered in a long time. He was almost hostile and if I did not need to empty my car quickly, I would have given the things to another place. He only said a couple of curt words to me and was, actually kind of scary. Unbelievable, I left feeling disgusted and mad as hell. How can they employ somebody this rude?? I will NEVER DONATE ANOTHER THING TO THIS PLACE BECAUSE OF THIS MAN. read more

Such a dirty location! Disrespectful staff and just down right gross. The store reflects filth. Clearly they are about profit and not operations. I had to tinkle and asked to use the restrooms as it states on the door, I was told "out of order" no big deal, until I seen the same employee allow another shopper to enter. Maybe it was a racist deal, I'm not sure. But the management and or employees clearly don't respect themselves and it shows in how they treat customers. Train wreck -- I spent ten years shopping at Thrift Town. At least 75% of my wardrobe is thrifted because it's wasteful to buy new clothes all the time. Goodwill has managed to destroy this store in less than a year. Things are disorganized, it smells, and there were children running wild through the aisles. I'll make the drive to the remaining thrift town store. read more

We always donate here, especially the beginning of the pandemic when we were locked down; there was nothing else to do. Great finds at this Goodwill. Over the years, we broke a glass cover pan cover and few small dishes, so we happen to find replacements at local Goodwill. (Thank goodness). The Employee/Volunteers do help customers like a regular retail outlet. read more
