Quite literally this is a huge thrift store! It's located out by all the car dealerships in Sacramento .They have a huge parking lot to be honest. It was a little overwhelmed with how big this place was however, I did find a treasure if you have the time to look through so much stuff I would say check this place out. They have everything HomeGoods decor, candles anything you can think of they also have a huge selection of used electronics they have a place that you can test them out and plug them in. I thought the prices were pretty fair and the people working were very nice ! Happy thrifting!

I brought my sister here for thrifting some clothing. She wanted some flannel shirts for a new style she's trying out, grunge meets Hawai'i...my sister has been living on the big island this past year and has been influenced by the Hawai'an cowboy and hunting scenes. Anyway, my sis is very colorful and fun to hang out with so we decided to go here and she scored three very nice shirts in her desired fabric for low prices. The clothing was in very nice shape and was arranged by style, for example they had a nicely organized ladies jeans section. I stuck to the housewares and book sections and perused furniture. The book section was large but fyi about 25% of the books were LDS religious books. The other book selection seems really heavily screened so nothing inappropriate would be found. Not that I was looking, but it felt like this was not going to be the place to get your Harry Potter books. But the prices were great, I got two hardcover cookbooks for $5. The Romney family cookbook was one I've never heard of but my rule Is if two-three of the recipes are such that I aim to make it right now, I'm sold. The housewares were aplenty but many of the items looked very worn and used. I don't find used items worn to that degree at Goodwill, for example. However, if you needed to set up home from scratch on a low budget this could be a good option. They had linens and curtains as well, all nicely arranged and displayed. This store was very busy on a Saturday! It is also a very big store, and it's right next to Maita Subaru. They also had a Sacramento County sheriff's deputy guarding the store exit/entry so it felt secure. North Sac. IYKYK. It's not my favorite thrift store, but it had pluses and should be on your list if you like thrifting.

Large store with an outside area as well. Store is clean, merchandise is organized by color. Prices are fair. Large parking lot.

just bought these two pictures that was a set of 3, they refused to sell me the 3rd one because there was no price tag (new policy) while i understand this to an extent....i feel that pictures or things that are sets should be excluded from this rule. i asked them if i could pay double what the other 2 were priced and they said no, i asked if i could leave my name and number so that after it was processed they could reach out so i could come get it, they also said no. i'm very frustrated by this, i love this store and been coming here for at least 10 years, i recommend it to everyone i know that thrifts. this new policy is super annoying especially for things that are clearly a set, they even had the same velcro strips on the back. no hate to the employees, they were super nice and im sure they are frustrated that they have to tell customers this and have to do more work because of it. thift stores get everything for free!! donations, this is super annoying, i hope management reflects on this and adjusts the policy

    Yes, accessible restrooms!

You can consistently rely on Deseret Industries to keep up decent thrift stores in local; communities. I can usually find something when i am here. The prices are reasonable. The sizes aren't always organized so it's good to check adjacent sizes to find things. To me, it's a better version of Goodwill - run by Mormons who staff their stores with an army of staff and offer better prices. This large store also has a large and accessible parking lot. They scored an extra point for having insight restrooms. I wish they would offer additional discounts like a senior discount or offer reductions for featured tags.

$550 for EACH chair is ridiculous! Come on Deseret! Love coming here but at times prices are out of control I couldn't believe it.

On December 23rd, my fiancé brought a cast-iron pot to the counter because it had no tag and simply asked about the price. The employee working that day accused him of removing the tag himself, claimed he had done this before, and said he had been a problem in the past. This was completely false. When my fiancé calmly tried to explain that there must be some confusion, he was asked to leave. Being accused of dishonesty without evidence was upsetting and unacceptable, especially after being loyal customers who supported the store with both purchases and donations. Businesses should value their customers and treat them with basic respect and fairness. Because of this experience, we no longer feel comfortable shopping here, which is a huge bummer. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses how customers are treated. (I never leave reviews)

St. V's usually has quality furniture, well made. This store has square footage and volume. A vast inventory. As generations arrive and leave, thrift stores contain the remnants. Lots of furniture is the pressboard, particle board and veneer of the 70's-2000's. There were still some great finds, oak, a very nice likely mahogany table, 2 leaves, with a coat of paint. Another good dining room set. A cool old dresser and mirror. Our place is too small, 700 miles away and full of quality old furniture. Not necessarily matching, but quality. We left with four items, two of them sealing glass jars, able to hold about four cups of ? each. Ours are raisin jars. We like wooden hangers, found a bundle for two dollars. We had been at the Pendleton Woolen Factory and seconds store the week before. We found a nice Pendleton Branded (therefore expensive) quilt in a belted package, unused, $14. Not wool, a weather resistant quilt, great for a car blanket. Would we return? Yes.

He raved about this thrift store. So I saved it till my mom showed up and we put it on our list. Google maps got us there without a hitch, or almost. We did have to do a U-Turn to get into their driveway, which wasn't bad, the traffic stopped ahead of us due they had a signal so all was good. This is a huge thrift store. You can't miss it from the road. It's on Watt Ave before the bowling alley if you are coming from the 50. They used to be behind a thriving shopping center, but that fizzled out so I'm rarely in this area anymore now that my grandma doesn't bowl there anymore. They have everything here include furniture that they will deliver. That's a surprise. I didn't inquire the fee, but I bet it's worth it. When you walk in they have a board that tells you what colors are on sale. I bought a few things that were 25% off and got one top for 50% off. What a deal. I bet people shop by tag colors and go for the white ones as those items are only $1. What a deal. I didn't see any white, tags, but I wasn't really looking for things by tag colors. I was more focused on things that I wanted and if it had the right colored tag than good for me. They have so much clothing. And I'm mostly focused on clothing and Puzzles. Everything is divide by type and size. There are several alcoves. One had women's dresses in it, which I looked at, but didn't see anything that was worth trying on. I found 2 sets of winter PJs for $6.99 for the set. One silky set in maroon and a 2nd set that was cotton and had maroon stripes along with grey and white. I got a black and white Calvin Kline T-Shirt with Calvin in Silver lettering for $2. I got 2 100 piece puzzles for a friend who had a stroke recently. She's going stir crazy and said 100 piece puzzle would be perfect. And theses weren't kiddy designs either so these were perfect. One was of sea shells and the other is of a decorated elephant. Those were only $1.50 each. They were 25% off what a good deal. And I got 2 other tops for $3.99 each. Back to the puzzles. They are the only store we when to today that had such a wide variety of 100 piece puzzles. I was really impressed by their selection. They also had puzzles with more pieces in them, but none of those got our attention. I don't know if they have restrooms, but they do have fitting rooms. They allow you to take 5 items in at a time, which is totally fair. With dressing rooms going out of style these days, this is a total find. They have so much clothing, they even have a blue room with the more desirable items in it. I looked around, but didn't see anything that caught my eye. Nothing stood out to me as being as a good find. They were pricier than I wanted to pay for those types of items. If you did find anything there you are asked to pay for them separately and not take them out of the area till they are paid for. Parking is ok. They have a lot right out front that was full when we arrived, we parked by the side of the building which was more convenient for me in pulling in and backing out. The other parking lot looked tight. I'm totally sold on this thrift store. I'm going to put it into our rotation.

Out of the various thrift stores in Sacramento and the surrounding areas, "Noah's Ark Thrift &…read moreGift" has got to be one of the cleanest places I have been to. Located directly on Watt Ave (and just south of Whitney Ave) in the Arden-Arcade neighborhood of Sacramento, this place has been operating since mid-2024. Prior to them vacating this space, this was once a furniture store with other various businesses before that including a dollar store and video game store. Hopefully Noah's Ark will stick around for quite awhile. A little bit of backstory about this company; the money and revenue that is generated here helps support the ministry in Ukraine which helps families of the soldiers that have had to serve the frontlines. This includes fallen heroes as well as soldiers who have had to endure losing limbs that have to face very intense rehabilitation after their service in the Ukrainian military. To me, this is a huge impact when I know my money is going towards a very positive cause. The exterior parking lot has more than enough space as the two separate times I have been here, finding a spot to park has been a breeze. There are also several other small businesses that share this parking lot. As for the thrift store itself, the place is absolutely clean to a tee. Upon entry, I was greeted by the young man behind the counter. Store hours are very generous as they are open for business Monday-Thursday from 10am-6pm and Friday-Saturday from 9am-7pm while being closed every Sunday. As for the inside of this place, everything is laid out exceptionally well. You will find a huge assortment of glasses, kitchenware, vintage and near-new clothing/apparel, jewelry, books/CD's/DVD's, solid wood furniture, and much more, all in very excellent condition. The cleanliness and organization of Noah's Ark really shows how much care and thought they put into their business. During both my visits, I found a name-brand shirt and some very nice kitchen items that looked nearly brand new and at reasonable prices. With generous hours, friendly service, and a nice variety of great finds, I am giving "Noah's Ark Thrift & Gift" a unanimous five-star rating.

She's kinda struggling to put them on so I bend down and set my purse down next to me. The security guard or loss prevention just about fell into the shoe rack while I guess watching us??
