I have 27 boxes in my driveway for today's pick up and I just got a message saying that they could not pick it up until March 3. I called them on the phone and there is nothing they can do about getting them before Thursday. I will never use Green Drop again. This is the second time that they have canceled me.

sadly I have made two donations through Green drop in the past few months and both experiences were…read morenot great. this last one was the last straw and I will be looking for a more accountable and organized company to send my donations to going forward. i had a very large pick up due to moving and we met every single requirement on their VERY long list. we carefully weighted each box, labeled the top and side of each box and covered them due to rain in the forecast, watched the driver pick and choice what boxes to take and then falsify the report saying the boxes were wet when they were not and some were even in water proof containers. I had to call twice and they took zero accountability and assured me a call back twice and to date never got any calls back! Extremely unprofessional!

AND A "THRIFT STORE" that makes the goodwill look like a dump! (In Japan where I'm from, we call these "up-cycled goods" stores, some having refurbished and totally re-created-from-used items; which are all very popular.) Absolutely fantastic selection, cleanliness, prices, clearance deals and service by the coolest staff. So unlike others including goodwill too. This has been going on for some time. The Hospice Patients (real people and their families) are losing out on profits. It is a shame that this unethical (illegal) practice, taking away from a charity, is going unchecked here. A few of the volunteers are honest, however; a number are not and have not been for some time. This is not new knowledge apparently (there a number of community members who know this and have addressed it, yet Samaritan does not address it), but just posting it here so people, with donations, can decide where they want them to go. A number of us have stopped donating as our previous donations are lining a number of the volunteers' pockets.

This Goodwill is okay, but you can't really find much if you're looking for stylish clothes…read more There's not much variety. Something I don't like about this Goodwill is that they used to do $1 Sundays and they don't do that anymore... Now they have 2 colors of the week, one is $3 and the other is $2. Considering these things are donated for FREE, they should at least go back to $1 Sundays. Today I went and the 2 colors were blue and red, red was $3 and blue $2. I was in the store for 3 hours and I only found about 3 items (if not less) with a BLUE TAG... I digged through the whole store looking for blue and all I could find was red. This was not okay. Apart from that, I would consider this store kinda pricey because these are used things and they want people to pay the price of a new piece for a used one. When you can find a brand new piece at the Burglington or Ross right next to it. I might never go back, it's not worth it for me anymore. Would recommend but if you can find something better, go with the better.
