I used to drop donations at this location when I first moved to lake Nona and forgot about until I saw it while leaving an appt. It's so easy , you pull up , pop the trunk and the staff removes the items. There is now a QR code to scan if you want a donation receipt on a marketing sign. read more

I'm going to be straightforward and say that goodwill is not my favorite place to donate things, simply because of the incredibly low pay and they offer their employees and rehabilitation back into society and then sell the items at a rate much higher than say the Salvation Army, resulting in profits. Let's not forget goodwill is not a not-for-profit, therefore they are for-profit. But that's OK, we live in America it is is a capitalist nation and everyone is entitled to make money... With my rant about Goodwill in general, allow me to actually touch base on this particular location. I have not had the best luck dealing with any of the employees and the quick drop off area. The quick drop off area is not quick at all, nobody has yet to ever come outside and bring me a card in order to drop off the hundreds and hundreds of items I have donated there. I really don't want to sound like the "complainer" but if that is their job no matter where they work I'd like some assistance curbside so I can drop off and move quickly. I also experienced several instances where they refused to take products like a beanbag, or a television and I was advised to just drive out back and throw it in their dumpster! I've been to plenty a good wills and I've met plenty of great employees that work there and work their tails off, but this just is not one of those locations. Perhaps because it's Lake Nona and they get a lot of stuff dropped off they aren't particularly concerned with "customer service". Does this mean I won't ever go there again no it's near my house and I'm going to donate something rather than throw it away... I will ask my neighbors if they would rather have it first before I go to donate it to Goodwill and then see it in their store two days later at a hefty price! read more

LOVE that this Goodwill donation location is so close to home, and is willing to take my lightly used items. The only drawback is the one gentleman that works there, that always manages to help me unload the car. He sighs, he rolls his eyes, he mutters... so much so, we asked if we should take our items elsewhere or just toss them. He said no, and ended up loading the cart... Good spot to ease the guilt of getting rid of new or like new items! read more

Incredibly rude staff. We had two small boxes of donations and the woman was incredibly rude. As my husband was putting a small toy back together the employee told him he was wasting her time, even though it took seconds and after she rudely said she doesn't have time to do it herself. As he handed her the second small box (our last) she said he would have to come back with the rest later as she didn't have time. You literally work at a donation drop-off station, this is your job. We were appalled by the level of rudeness and had a final lesson to not donate to this organization. read more

Super easy and convenient. I mean for what it is it can't get any easier. They have 2 reserved parking spots right up front, someone will come out to collect your stuff and give you a recipet. Couldn't be any easier and a super convenient location. read more

This is the closest donation center to our house so we stopped by when we had clothes and baby items to donate. It really couldn't be any easier. We pulled up and an employee came right out with a bin. She was able to take everything except a baby bath, understandable, and offered to give a receipt. We will definitely keep returning to donate items. read more

Lake Nona has a new, local Donation Station location to allow for easier drop off of items. This is very nice as the nearest station is on South OBT and a 20 minute drive. The staff is quick and efficient and eager to help you deliver your items. If Goodwill could get some of its internal processes straightened out and get more of their benefits directly to people in need, I would give this a 5. read more
