I'm not sure how they list their price as 2/5. Compared to what? Buying new clothes? I just had 12 shirts, 2 suits and 1 shorts cleaned and it cost "One Six Nine". Then I asked for a receipt (expecting it itemized) and the receipt just says "$175.90". It doesn't even specify the tax. If you ask Grok or AI they will tell you, when asking for a credit card you tell the customer the TOTAL price, not the pre-tax price. They don't list their prices online and don't answer their phone. This place use to have Excellent service and fair price. It being sold and the new Managment is unprofessional. I took a very expensive dress shirt that had a very small stain, before I dropped I asked the lady if they can remove the stain (size of pin head) she said yes. After 3 days went to pick it up, after I paid $47 I discovered the stain was not removed. I asked to be reimbursed, she said you have to come back when the owner is here. Pure CROOKS ! read more

I took a dress in to be altered for a wedding and I took it on the bag I was using to store it in and would be using to travel with. It was not a plastic bag but a wedding garment bag purchased for this occasion. When I went to pick up my dress they told me they had thrown it away since they didn't need it. They offered me some cheap bag in replacement which will not keep my dress for the flight. They did not offer to reimburse. If they knew they didn't need it they shouldn't have taken it when I dropped my dress off. read more

Dropped off a shirt with a small spot on it and two pants that were dry clean only. Pants came back scorched and look bad now. Shirt was a silk shirt and they pressed it against the buttons on the sleeve so now they have marks. I've never had a dry cleaning place scorch pants before so very sad about it. Overall, had 6 pieces (3 of someone else's that we dropped off) and the price was over $60 for it all. For the quality, I would not recommend this place at all. Feel confident that both pants are now ruined. The tag says to turn to reverse side and use cool iron only or dry clean. Expected a lot better from this establishment. read more

Though this was my first check in at Polo Cleaners on Yelp, we have been going to Polo for over a 15 years. The owner is always friendly and remembers us. The staff working at Polo is wonderful. What I think is truly awesome is that the owner employs a few people that have challenges. He gives people a chance to be contributing members in the workplace and earn a living, and to be VALUED. This is something I just find remarkable and worth mentioning because it tells me something about the willingness of this business to be inclusive of ALL people, of all levels abilities. Though it's not something I go looking for, when I find that exists at a business, I will return again and again. Our cleaning is always done to near perfection. Fresh, clean and on time, even when it's a rush order, Polo gets it done. Yes, there is an occasional button that will break on a shirt with the pressing process, but if pointed out, they always correct it. I had my tailor-made cashmere coat cleaned at Polo. It's something that was costly to have made and never leaves my sight. Polo cleaned it to PERFECTION. Most recently, I had to have my hubby's sport jacket cleaned on a rush as he needed this specific coat for an event. It was no problem for Polo and we received it quickly and well cleaned; fresh as new! In my work, I wear a uniform with shirts that, while lovely, are a pain in the neck to iron. When I take them to Polo, I can count on them being done perfectly, odd cuffs and all. Once, a few years back, the owner found that someone working for the same company as I, had left a logo emblem on his coat. The emblem had to be removed from the garment to be cleaned and he had it in a little box. He asked me if it was my company's logo and I told him it was, which made it easy for him to find the rightful owner. There are a few of us that wear this same emblem, but since they look similar, it was important this went back to the right person. He figured it out and everyone was happy. Looking at some of the other Yelp reviews for Polo Cleaners, I am quite puzzled as I have never had anything less than a wonderful experience! Personalized service, too. I took 2 pairs of shoes and a bag for repair. On the first pair of shoes, the elastic straps were done, but broke as I tried them on. The leather has been cut through so it's going to be very difficult to have them repaired properly. On the Second pair, they managed to remove the the leather coat while very badly sewing the edge of the shoe. And the bag, the 'repaired' handle broke as I put it on my shoulder. Honestly I wouldn't have bother to put a review if it wasn't for the unfriendly customer service that top it up. I've been told that my expectations were to high and anyway nobody's going to look at my feet. I also been told that anybody is untitled to a second chance after being told that the guy who did the repair had 30 years of experience. Got reimburse though. read more

Not costumer friendly at all! Very upset. I dropped a dress off June 2012 and my Halloween Costumes in October. I came back twice a month until March of 2013 just to find out they lost my clothes and the attachments I needed sewn. I saw (with my own eyes) that my clothes were on the floor. The young girl apologized and said the owner would call me. Never happened. They finally gave them back to me a week later with someone else's straps on my outfit along with a $50 charge saying, "It doesn't matter how long it took, we did the job you requested" I asked nicely to speak with the owner, again, and for them to pay for the dress they botched. The man said, "It will be a cold day in H@$% when I give you money." Very disrespectful & hurtful. I hope this helps your choice on who you trust with your clothes. read more

LOVE this dry cleaner! PJ, his family, and staff are always friendly and professional. They go the extra mile in making sure we get our clothes cleaned in a timely manner...this includes a turnaround time for the next day when needed. We've used this company for 14 years and have never had an issue with our cleaning, our bill, or service. The only "issue" I see is the seamstress service. Though the guy seems quite capable I never know when he's going to be there. Wish a sign with his hours would be posted along with the seamstress using regular hours. But, this is a mild concern because there are so many other seamstress business in the area. I highly recommend Polo Cleaners! read more

Not customer friendly - they dry cleaned a shirt when I asked to launder without my permission. When I asked owner he would not adjust my bill. Will not return - this is 2nd time I had issues. First time they did not tighten my button per request. I brought back shirt for them to redo alterations. The counter person told me rudely 'Don't you know how to sew a button'. You've probably found that most of the dry cleaners in the Dr. Phillips area have low ratings. We've been bringing our dry cleaning to Polo Cleaners for three years. Let me start by saying the manager is a nice enough guy. Very pleasant and professional. That said, we have experienced numerous instances where clothes came back and didn't appear clean. In addition, they seem to have problems getting stains out, requiring us to return/leave the garment behind for them to try again (frustrating that they didn't catch it on their own). The most recent (and final) issue was us having to go back FIVE times for one garment (1. forgot to treat stain, 2. stain not out (could have called), 3. ran out of chemical (?!) waiting for more (could have called), 4. Not done yet (could have called), 5. Almost out, residue "should" come out after future dry cleanings. Very disappointing. I appreciate the personal interactions, but the bottom line to a service like this is being able to actually DO the work you are in business to do. They are conveniently located (near Publix) but not effective (I'm paying - a premium - for clean clothes). They had more than enough time to earn my business - or, in my case, lose my business. If you care about your clothes, you may want to shop for a better option. Just my two cents... read more

Worst place ever. Damaged garments and bad service. I have two silk blouse that was losing decorating parts and one shirt left with four holes!
