This is exactly the type of place I think of when I want to go thrifting. There is stuff in every nook and cranny and I probably made about 4-5 rounds throughout the whole place. The owner was very kind and had a beautiful cat that followed me around for a bit lol I spent $78 and got SO many treasures! If it were closer, I would go every week. I will be back here for sure. The kids wanted shoes and watches so really there were a few customers about 20 or 25. Anyways we made to the shoe department, and we started with the girls and of course my husband he needed help anyways we got all the girl's shoes and I mention to my husband we need a buggy so I found one took me a few minutes when I turned around and I see this guy starry at me did not think nothing of it. So, I went where my husband was put all the boxes of shoes in buggy and we started with the boy's shoes all of sudden I see the same guy again I told my husband we are being watched by this fake security guy he goes yea I know. So pretty much mush we were being followed. This guy was like a leash So, we were done in this department, and we took the elevator down to go get the great grand baby clothes and watches for the kids then my husband tells me there's another fake security guy on your left I said what the effing shit it this. This was the most uncontrollable experience that we ever had we are in our 60s what the hell we don't have to steal we have jobs. These two idiots they were like LEASHES. At one point i was going to say something but I would be wasting my time. Then we go to cash out and there's no cashiers in front or the back we had to go to the Sephora makeup area oh my goodness, :( Let me give you a tip on your security have them dress neat clothes and not walk like clowns. Gal was doing inventory on the entire section, said I couldn't take anything because she was doing inventory (I understand completely). Meanwhile, there's a mysterious "WTF are they waiting for?" line adjacent to her. I left, came back, 30-40 minutes later. Said football product is gone, and 2-3 guys are standing there with multiple boxes (more than 2 for sure) in their baskets, almost taunting anyone who dared to think they had a chance to get one. I overheard 3 pre-teen boys lamenting how "those guys cleaned out the Topps Chrome football". I wanted a box, yes, but assholes like that are actively preventing kids from participating in the hobby. And on the back end, they'll try to (and probably succeed) sell those boxes for double the retail price. If there's going to be the 2-per item per customer trip/transaction limit on these products, enforce it!! Otherwise, just take the meaningless, overwrought signage down.

It just so happens that on the day we visited, the store had a small setup of free hot apple cider and little sandwich cookies available for shoppers. This gave us a special glimpse of Minnesota hospitality and set things off on a great foot on a very chilly day! We looked through Christmas decorations and old games and I was thankful to find an excellent prank hallmark ornament for my sister and a nostalgic hallmark ornament for myself--a little mouse atop a spool of thread, sewing popcorn kernels for a Christmas garland. We looked at a variety of scarves and coats and then found a cute, new/barely-used, button-up shirt with little mustaches for my partner. All of this--delicious hot cider, Christmas and childhood nostalgia, easily transported "souvenirs" from our visit to Minnesota, and a crisp new shirt for my partner--all for less than $10 made for a pretty great first-time thrifting experience and a memorable stop on the trip for me!

The prices are great, they are really there to be an actual charity unlike other mainstream thrift…read morestores. They're always having some sort of sale and if you're looking for books go here. The employees are welcoming and nice. There's always an employee there that takes time to stop and dance with my three year old and to talk to her. It's nice... They're not a big store but they have a variety of things. I did some digging. Most of their profit goes right back into the community and funds local food shelves. They will work with you if there's something you need and can't afford. The staff is knowledgeable of programs that offer aid to low income, disabled, or single parents. If they have extra donations it goes to homeless shelters and half way houses. They're take almost all donations. They even take blankets that have stains or are worn out for animal shelters. Now, the downside. It's a small cramped store. I wish they had more wiggle room. Everything is dirty. They don't have the funding or enough volunteers to prewash clothing but will wipe down certain objects like knick nacks or toys. Because they have limited space you may not find a ton of baby clothing or toddler clothing. They open at 10am. Which is a little strange. Overall a little dust is worth an entire library at very cheap for my daughter. Plus, I know it goes right down the hall into the local food shelter to help those that need it.
