I brought nine trash bags plus three grocery bags, all stuffed with clothing to donate. As I was walking to the back of my car to retrieve the final bag, one of the employees working there on the receiving dock told me they really couldn't accept any more from me. I told her I had just one last bag. She looked at me disapprovingly and said they just didn't have room for all of this. I was dumbstruck. I responded that it would help if they accepted donations more frequently so they wouldn't be overloaded on the days they do accept and that she really shouldn't discourage people from bringing their donations or they won't have anything to sell in their shop. She again looked at me as if I had done something wrong and shook her head. I got in my car and drove off. I do not want to discourage the public from either donating to or shopping at Humane Together, but I think that whoever is in charge of donations for the organization needs to have a conversation with the folks who work on that dock and remind them that accepting donations, large or small, is the lifeblood of their store and they should certainly not be discouraging large donations!

The store is very organized and they have a mixture of mainstream brands such as Loft, BR, Ann Taylor, etc and non-brand. I liked that they sell petite sizes. The merchandise appeared to be in very good condition some even had the original retail price tags intact. The store is organized and is separated by apparel and accessories, including hand bags, shoes and jewelry. They conveniently have three fitting rooms which I appreciate as not all thrift stores offer this. Initially, I only saw two parking spaces in front of the store so I parked in a space reserve for CrossFit next door. Upon entering the thrift store, I asked staff if they had additional parking and she informed me that there was across the parking lot. I did not have any luck finding anything during this visit, but I would definitely return because I believe they have better quality merchandise than other thrift stores I have been to.

You can get candles, baskets, greeting cards, fabric bundles, dish sets- you name it, it's probably here. Upstairs is women's clothing and shoes and a Christmas room. It's not the largest clothing selection but high quality and good prices. They also had a sale when I was there, which was buy one red tag item and get two free. When you finish browsing upstairs, they put your items in a bag and total it for you before you go back downstairs to pay. The building is an old house, so it has multiple small rooms. It can feel a bit cramped at times, and sometimes the lighting wasn't the best. I just used the flashlight on my phone! They also have changing rooms upstairs, which is fantastic! I would not go there if your intention is to help charity causes. If you want to shop for thrifts or drop your used goods, Salvation Army and Goodwill is the place to go, as 85% of the sale goes to good cause. I rated a 1 star as I am disappointed to know this, not to mention the place is always a mess and prices are crazy high.

So after looking around and finding a spot, I headed out. Made my way here and the area was still reeling from the storm that rolled through. The parking lot was a mess and even though they had just opened, they were jammed. I found one of the remaining parking spots near the store and made my way inside. I was expecting a rather expansive area on the inside only to find out that it is much smaller. Not usually a problem, but when it came to browsing, it made for a much more bothersome experience. I would spot an item, want to take a look at it and then promptly be pushed out of the way with another customer with a cart. I was beginning to get frustrated when I decided that I would give it another go. I came here to find an item to put my remotes in and kept going through the housewares section. I had in mind what I wanted, couldn't quite find it. When I did, you could tell it was cheaply made with the Goodwill mark up. I was about to give up when I spotted the endcaps filled with random items. I saw one particular piece and decided this would fit the bill until something else might come along. I quickly went through the clothing but when it comes to clothing for men, this place is severely lacking. Compared to the women's section, it is about quarter the size. Checking out was fast. I paid for my purchase and was back outside.

The prices ranged from around 5$ to around $15 for clothes. They have more than clothes, but I was primarily looking for vintage clothes, extravagant clothing, and early 2000s bright crop tops for a photo shoot. Unfortunately, I couldn't find what I was looking for, but they did have a wide variety of clothes from men suits to a wedding dress (only 1 I saw) to regular daily wear. The items were sorted by size and price rack, which made it easier to browse. It was an okay thrift store and clean, but it wasn't my cup of tea regarding what they had. Regardless, I recommend just checking it out since each thrift store is different and may appeal to different people.

This seems like a small space but the owners pack a lot of items in it. Very very clean and very organized. Pleasant to shop and browse. A mix of just about everything.
