    Absolute trash store with trash employees & owner! Never in my life have I ever been to a thrift…read morestore that will go through your donations for them to "decide if they want to take them or not" as a fake nonprofit you would think they would be happy with any donations they can round up! Iv literally took donations there and they picked 2 or 3 items and told me "they can't take the rest" because "their dumpster is full".. obviously I wasn't donating trash! On top of the bs there, every time you visit this store you are greeted with a personal shadow that will follow you around the entire store to ensure you are not filling your pockets with their over priced, free to them inventory until you checkout or leave. If you leave without making a purchase they immediately run to the left side window and at least 2 of them stare you down like you robbed the place. Overall I would donate at a place that is much more appreciative and shop somewhere that is welcoming and actually wants you there. The owner and manager of this place are both the upmost rude women I have ever dealt with!

They should learn how to treat the people who are keeping them open. I have made several large donations over the years of plenty of "acceptable" items but will NEVER take anything there again.

I believe Alabama is Yellow Hammer State! No matter what town, what state, any Food Bank that I write to, any Salvation Army Corps that I write to, glad my donations of artwork, my donations of grocery coupons from Sunday newspapers, my donations of cash, is used to help the children in that town, in that state! For this situation, it will be the children of Huntsville, Alabama! My way to think, children need help all twelve months of the year, not just November and not just December! Here are some ideas I may draw and send to this Food Bank! Since a Yellow Hammer is some kind of bird, I know is the state bird! Perfect chirping idea to help children with gifts of love to hometown Food Bank OR Perfect chirping idea to help children with gifts of love to hometown Salvation Army!
