Win win situation... Goodwill is more than just finding a bargain as it creates jobs and helps the community finding the treasures, deals and items that are no longer found in stores and with a bit of creativity I've seen items transformed to very useable item which would end up in the landfill has found a loving home is the best. This newest location is a lovely addition at the top of Waialae Ave as I patiently watched it being built loved how it turned out as you make a left on Koko Head Ave, there is a drive thru to conveniently drop off your donations which takes you straight out to Wilhemina Rise and just to the left you'll see a parking area where there are a few dedicated stalls for you to park and shop in Goodwill. Obviously new this massive space is so clean and organized which I'm sure is a task not easily obtained is well kept and a delight to shop in it's such a lovely place to find many items some are brand new along with furniture and sporting goods is cool and love to see so many come here to shop is great. Thank you!

Treasure hunting! The Goodwill donation spot in Kaneohe was closed for lunch, so I drove to Kaimuki to drop off a bag and, as a result, received a 20 percent off coupon! The Kaimuki Goodwill's donation area is on the right side of Koko Head Avenue. The free parking lot is on the right side of Wilhelmina Rise (about 10 labeled stalls) and the Front door of the store is on Waialae Avenue. The book and DVD area is on the left. It's elevated and can be accessed by ramp and steps. There was a grandpa reading to his granddaughter in the nook between the shelves...so cute! On another visit, a man rested on one of the blue reclined chairs...looks so relaxing! The majority of items for sale seems to be clothing. The household items and shoes are towards the back. The cashier is at the front by the dressing rooms. Come here and take a look! Help the community and save some money at the same time! Remember to get the Rewards Card! I got cash to use on my purchase!

Hands down, one of the best Goodwill locations on O'ahu. This thrift icon has revamped their total image in the past few years, and has really become a go-to for almost any occasion. Mother day's, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas; hoards of new and used items put on display near holiday seasons. This Halloween, I was able to find accessories for Carl and Russell costumes from UP! Carl: four legged walking stick, square black glasses Russell: yellow collared shirt, orange hat, backpack accessories I saw a bunch of brand new costumes, accessories (hats, wigs, face paint, crowns, capes etc), and Halloween goods for sale. Target seems to be an overstock supplier, as there as TONS of stationary, kitchenware, furniture and clothing. In addition, they have a FREE rewards points program, basically earn back cash for everything you spend at Goodwill.

Located on the Ground Level of the new Civil Beat Plaza, the Grand Opening was at 9:30am on 9-1-23, Friday. The long line was formed way before 8:45am when I arrived. I parked in the free, open surface parking lot on Wilhelmina Rise, which filled up quickly. Free Refreshments, chances to win gift certificates from nearby Kaimuki businesses (examples: Chubbies Burgers, Daily Whisk Matcha, Cowcow's Tea, Koa Pancake House, Otto Cake, Broken Rice, Atsuka Nabe & Shabu Shabu, and $50 at The Surfing Pig), live music, and gift cards for the first 100 customers were the draw. At 10am, the first 300 people were allowed in the store. I happened to be #175. No gift card for me, but I got a free Donut from Zippy's, and a raffle ticket! Thank you! I enjoyed the clean, bright, air-conditioned, organized, spacious environment! I'll be back soon! Congratulations on your beautiful renovation!

If you're serious about finding an aloha shirt you think you'll wear when you get back home, you…read moremight be looking for something that doesn't exist. You can find aloha shirts just about anywhere on Oahu, whether at expensive boutiques in Waikiki or in the nearest ABC store. However, the visual appeal of the shirt depends completely the eye of the beholder. With that in mind, there probably isn't any other store on the island that offers a broader selection. It's pretty overwhelming. The drawback is that the massive inventory is packed in a retail space so constrained that it can be a challenge to navigate. It took me a while to realize the shirts on the central racks are the priciest, some costing hundreds and (gasp) even thousands of dollars. There are used shirts along the wall that sell as low as $9. I wasn't particularly clear on the difference in quality, but I'll give you one guess which racks I was rifling through. The clerk explained that there were a couple racks of new shirts and the rest are vintage. Many of the shirts were produced in Hawaii. In addition to shirts, they carry an assorted collection of Hawaiian themed vintage souvenirs, antiques and knick knacks. Some of the items are pretty dusty, and had me thinking that they hadn't been moved in a long time. The prices are pretty hefty (except the shirts were reasonable). There were a number of customers scooping up shirts. I was a little claustrophobic to be honest in the tight quarters. There is no dedicated parking. Street parking is available if you're lucky.

I was pretty…read moreoptimistic and hoped for the best turnout despite hearing from people that they don't really give you anything money wise and turn you away even if you have good brand clothes overall. But i chose to see for myself which i did , the process was pretty straightforward and quick and easy , i filled out the form and the girl said she'd call me when they finished looking through my items. And said they'd be done in 10-15 minutes , no problem I decided to walk around and check out their selections of clothes and items they had. I must say they had cute tops and nice styles that I'd wear or that I normally wear on a daily basis , I'll give them that. So selection wise for clothes , they're doing their big one with that. I noticed for heels when i looked at the shoes ( I would never buy second hand shoes from here or anyone for that matter but it was just there ) , it was a pair of Coach brand heels. Super cute and gave off early 2000s vibes , when i picked up the shoe to see the sizing i noticed the bottom of the heel bursted out with stuffing. And I thought to myself that's odd that they took those heels in despite the condition that it was in. But i did notice as well for regular oversized t shirts , they were a bit worn down. And some were priced at ridiculous prices and stained. 10-15 minutes had passed and i went to check on my bag of clothes , apparently they did go through it quickly , but they didn't even bother to let me know or say anything until i went to check on them. So there's that.. mind you i brought in good brands which were in excellent mint condition ( Adidas , Champion ) and a few other brands. They ended up only taking one of my adidas shirts and a workout sweatshirt from the brand Legend, that still had a tag on. The girl working only offered me $5.. $5 for BOTH OF THEM. . I was like flabbergasted and said to myself "Wtf". Everyone knows Adidas is a good brand and pretty on the pricey side.. to even offer $5 for that is absolutely diabolical. Especially when it was in amazing condition , fairly brand new since I didn't even wear it. And Legend is pricey as well and it was brand new with tags , so that totally caught me off guard. I personally think the girls who work here don't give a sh*t, and are there to take up space or just to pass time. They were all chit chatting and doing their own thing. They even denied four people who came in after me and didn't bother looking at their bag of clothes they bought. I probably never will sell here again especially wasting my time for a petty $5 bill. Yes , it's better than $0 , but I brought in good clothes and that's that. Besides , the champion shirt I brought it in and adidas , looked far more better than the adidas and champion shirts they had hanging up on the racks that were tearing apart and hanging by a thread. The girls here don't know what they're doing with their jobs. I think they just take or don't take anything that you offer to sell and throw you a petty dollar and call it a day. I also noticed now making this review others had similar if not the same experiences as me.. lesson learned though. Fair game. I will only return to possibly shop since they had clothes i wear. Selling wise? Hell to the no. Never again.. if you got this far take it from me .. DON'T BOTHER SELLING HERE. YOU ARE BETTER OFF SELLING TO ANOTHER LOCAL CONSIGNMENT STORE IF NOT FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE!!!!!!!!!
