One of the nicer locations. Had a long line at checkout and only one person but no biggie. Will be back.

I parked in the free, open surface parking lot on Wilhelmina Rise, which filled up quickly.

The cashiers also are very friendly. It's a charity second hand shop that also has many items with tags and labels still on them. Of course, the prices usually can't be beat. My fave items are the glassware, porcelain and seasonal items. I usually feel more in a festive spirit when I visit/leave this location. I also feel good because my purchase profits go to a good cause.

Goodwill is more than just finding a bargain as it creates jobs and helps the community finding the treasures, deals and items that are no longer found in stores and with a bit of creativity I've seen items transformed to very useable item which would end up in the landfill has found a loving home is the best. This newest location is a lovely addition at the top of Waialae Ave as I patiently watched it being built loved how it turned out as you make a left on Koko Head Ave, there is a drive thru to conveniently drop off your donations which takes you straight out to Wilhemina Rise and just to the left you'll see a parking area where there are a few dedicated stalls for you to park and shop in Goodwill. Obviously new this massive space is so clean and organized which I'm sure is a task not easily obtained is well kept and a delight to shop in it's such a lovely place to find many items some are brand new along with furniture and sporting goods is cool and love to see so many come here to shop is great. Thank you!

If you're serious about finding an aloha shirt you think you'll wear when you get back home, you…read moremight be looking for something that doesn't exist. You can find aloha shirts just about anywhere on Oahu, whether at expensive boutiques in Waikiki or in the nearest ABC store. However, the visual appeal of the shirt depends completely the eye of the beholder. With that in mind, there probably isn't any other store on the island that offers a broader selection. It's pretty overwhelming. The drawback is that the massive inventory is packed in a retail space so constrained that it can be a challenge to navigate. It took me a while to realize the shirts on the central racks are the priciest, some costing hundreds and (gasp) even thousands of dollars. There are used shirts along the wall that sell as low as $9. I wasn't particularly clear on the difference in quality, but I'll give you one guess which racks I was rifling through. RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://yelp.to/0mJKnQM2Gr

If you want an Aloha shirt, and a somewhat authentic one or even retro one, you should come here,…read morebut you should know what you are getting yourself in for. The walk from the Waikiki hotels is only about 10-15 minutes. On the strip in Waikiki you'll see a lot of places that will charge you Hawaii tourist prices for shirts - only some of which are decent. At Bailey's you'll definitely see what you want, and new or used, you might even come away with some money left over in your wallet for the next exorbitant meal. If you come in expecting space to be able to stand back and have a good look at the many, many shirts they have, well, there just isn't any. And if you want access to a dressing room, chances are you won't get that either. There is a single dressing room, and pretty much everyone goes in there with the 10-15 shirts they just picked out because they know it is the only access they will have to it (because everyone else has been in there doing the same thing, or waiting for their turn with a stack of shirts). But you'll find shirts, and ones that you like. You could pay anywhere from $10-$15 for a cheaper used one, most of the decent quality used ones are in the $25-$30 range, and then you can find some new Reyn Spooner types that might be up to $120. They have other stuff as well, but I think the majority of people probably go here to get Aloha shirts. This is very much a thrift store vibe, so if that ain't your jam, this place probably isn't for you. But it's an institution. It would be 5 stars for me, but I think it was important for clarity to take off one star just because it is an overwhelming number of shirts in a supremely confined space. My arms hurt from dragging shirts on hangers and holding the others back to try to look at them. The lady behind the counter is nice.

When it does we look to the little things in life and see if it can go to someone who needed it more than we do, this is where consignment was something I've done in the past which can be risky but is great tool to sell that item your not totally committed to. Rhea Lana's is the nation's children consignment place that holds events is 25 states and guess what we have one right here in Hawaii and was coincidentally held in the former Toy r us location in Pearl City. I was just taken aback of how much inventory they had!Very neat and organized all sorted with clear signage for all things for kids like clothing, shoes, toys, furniture, books and even accessories for mom like bags and bottles. There was a few items I was interested in but the line was decently long with carts filled with items I though what a great organization this is and is obviously very needed in this community. Though this event has passed follow them on Instagram @rhealanasofhonolulu to keep updated with them. Thank you!
