the store itself has made significant improvements and is up to par with other goodwills , though their quality donations may be a tad lower. that being said I tried to donate really nice clothes, Gap, polo, etc and the lady working in the drop off was like, "we don't want any clothes!" it's like she has the final say on what can and can't be donated. I think she's on some kind of power trip, very rude and seems to take pleasure in being so. read more

I didn't find much here. Only an Alaska zip up jacket. There are no dressing rooms so try on over your clothes and look in front of 2 mirrors in the store. Also they now share the parking lot with an apartment building so parking is super limited. They must not get quality donations as there was nothing else to buy for me. I have driving by here many times and finally went in. It was pretty clean, but a tad smaller than I imagined from the outside. As usual, there were the thrift-rats who hang out here daily hoping to get their hands on the newest donations before they are even priced, but I still left with 2 cool glass dishes! If Macklemore walked into this Thrift Store, we'd probably have a song about Walmart or something. This is by far the most depressing and miserable Goodwill I have ever been to. No windows and it almost could double as a prison. This is where felted sweaters go to die with a $9.99 price tag still attached. Racks have clothing slung about and hangers laying everywhere. The fitting rooms have a 50/50 shot of having a place to hang your clothes when you go to try them on--that is if you can get past all those pesky felted sweaters! One of the fitting rooms I was in actually had a nail in the wall to hang clothes on, but could only accommodate two hangers. Thwarted once again from having a decent thrift shopping experience! Books are typically a safe bet at thrift stores (wicked cheap), but here, A DISASTER. I did persevere and found a title for a steal. I would highly recommend avoiding this location when a very lovely, clean, bright, cheerful, happy-go-lucky, inspired (ok I think I got my point across) location is a few minutes away in St. Louis Park! read more

Sometimes you have to wait a long time to drop off your items. I think they should start a pick-up service like ARC and others. That being said, Goodwill is a model for the highest form of recycling: reusing what someone else discards instead of purchasing something new. I went into the store and found a new looking 100% cashmere blue blazer - for $8.99 - in my size! And it still had the tag from the cleaners. I also like the area where they sell picture frames, some of which still contain the original pictures. You could fill your hallway with pictures of relatives you don't really have... read more

Frankly, I've had better. This location is a block from my apartment, and it's nice to shake things up and check out what's been donated lately. I usually leave empty-handed though. This store is pretty dirty and disorganized compared to other stores not too far away. And the staff doesn't ever seem to be all that interested in helping anyone, nor are they very friendly. AND the last time I was here, I was in a fitting room and noticed all the hooks for hangers had been broken off the wall so I just had to put everything on the bench. What gives? read more

This Goodwill really isn't that bad, but it takes a bit more searching through to find that diamond (i.e. jeans) in the rough (i.e. rack) than it would be at, say, Arc's Value Village in Richfield. I even got a nice Giant bike here once. Too bad the location is so grungy-looking from the outside (and some parts inside too). read more

This location is a little tucked away, and smaller than most of the thrift stores I've been to. Though not as much variety as most I've been to, it's clean and well maintained. I used to work for Goodwill/ Easter Seals, and they usually have some pretty neat stuff... Reguardless if it is used or not, Goodwill usually can be a good place to go... This particular location... could use some help. The employees are kinda... how do you put this... lost. If you get there when the store first opens, everything is organized and easy to find... But 20 minutes later, the store is a mess, disorganized, and dirty. Everything is hard to find, and the employees pretty much ignored me when i asked for help to find a shirt.... Very displeased Thrift stores usually arent the greatest to shop at for the most part, but this goodwill cuts the cake..... My overall advice..... STAY AWAY!! read more

It's goodwill. Like many other goodwills they sell stuff, used stuff, but stuff nonetheless. I used to like coming to this goodwill (when I was dragged kicking and screaming), but something about it has changed. It could be that they sell nothing of use (every piece of clothing I looked at was soiled or torn, the furniture was broken, and the rest was crap), it could be that the store wasn't organized (the clothes were fabulously organized, but everything else was just kind of thrown on shelves), or it could be that the employees sat around yelling at one another (having physical conversations about who knows what, but louder). Is this the place to go, maybe if you live near by or are passing through, but by no means would I make this a "special" trip. read more

I want to start off this review by saying thank you so much to everyone who donates to goodwill and salvation armies. Because of you, I was able to get my life together by buying a 4$ Bathroom scale and 5$ food scale! With that being said, this goodwill is WAY to expensive for what you get. Considering you guys are getting these items for free, I should not be buying a 5$ food scale. Also it is quite messy and not a organized store. read more

I went to drop off some stuff at this location and thought I would pop in to see if they had anything interesting. The store was fairly clean and organized. These are always good places if you are looking for some odds and ends or just want to browse through used items, you never know what you might come across. read more

This is an okay location. I work right next to goodwill so I stop here often to see what I can find. If you are going to look for kids clothes the selection is horrible. If you want to try on clothes there make sure to wear socks because the dressing rooms are always nasty. Lots of women's clothes, sometimes they have things brought it from target which is nice. Biggest pet peeve is the customer service. It's horrible. Heard one employee tell any other to stop offering bags because they were short. Bought a filing cabinet and some creepy guy named Kelly was so rude I had to ask him if he could help me load it into my car, he finally did. DONT ROUND UP WHEN THEY ASK. None of the money goes to a good cause. read more

Not the greatest selection but what's there is well organized. It's mostly clothes but they do have other stuff too, almost no furniture (I'm guessing due to lack of space) but several shelves of various kitchen utensils and electronics. read more

This is one of my least favorite Goodwills. The selection is decent, but not amazing and the staff isn't very friendly.

Back in the 1990s, this location rocked with upscale brands....it's now hit-or-miss, and feels and looks dirtier and more disorganized than other Goodwills. There's something missing from this store, and I can't out my finger on it....it used to be a great place! read more

I came here on a whim when I took the wrong road to knollwood mall. I had high hopes for it but the selection was just ok and nothing really did much for me. I didn't find it as super dirty like some others did, just normal. This would probably be a good location to check every once in a while if you live near it. I didn't have any luck but that doesn't mean it'll never have good items. Since it's not super convenient for me I don't see myself making any effort to check it out regularly. But if you live nearby it might be worth it. read more

I just donated about $2000 worth of expensive things; i.e., knick knacks, benches, artwork, oriental throw rugs, brand new dog toys and paraphernalia, new decorator pillows, 8 place setting of Mikasa dishes, etc, etc. They throw your stuff into the bins as though it is a piece of crap. I thought it was only the Arkansas good wills that rough handles your stuff.....guess it's all of them. I will no longer donate to goodwill. I would rather sell my things at a consignment shop. I am so sorry I donated the items!!!! read more
