Well/ I shop here for a change of scenery! The clothing in the BIN are in good shape! Be sure wear a pair of gloves for protection. I found Some nice books & games that really affordable! & some women purses are good to locate as well & only complaint is the shoes are not in pair! My first time at the Goodwill Bins went a little too well... definitely had the thickest stack of finds compared to my 2 friends. We went during a cloudy afternoon so it was the perfect activity. I got to observe the new bin rush from the side, and later participate in one as well. I get people are enthusiastic even outside the new bin drops, but some large parties kept hogging side sections when I was trying to go through them in a flow. I kept thinking about other things I wanted to see/do in the Twin Cities though so couldn't lock in to the level I really wanted. Next time I'll need to spend a whole day here and be more liberal with my narrowing down step. The goodwill outlet center / "bins" is quite the experience haha. You can tell a lot of people are there all the time and are "professionals", but I still enjoyed it as a casual thrifter! There are rows of bins, probably 40-60 in the store, and they are filled with clothes, household items, shoes, games, etc! At first glance most of it is less then appealing, but there are definitely hidden gems in these bins! I walked away with a jacket and top for my partner and pants for me! No dressing rooms. There are a ton of people there typically too, so be prepared to be in close proximity and searching bins together! Some of the bins smelled and overarchingly the experience is a little gross when you think about it too long haha. Being gloves if you want and wash up after, you'll be fine! They switch out the bins maybe every 30mins-1 hour, and this is when you find the best stuff that hasn't been picked over. The staff was friendly enough. I was surprised by the prices. You pay by the pound, which is cool! I still expected it to cost less though haha. It was roughly $4/piece for everything I got. Again nothing crazy and good prices for thrifting, but I still expected it to be "dirt cheap" given these items are at their final destination. Complete lack of control and security , management in nonexistant !! , product is bad at best

Our store buys and sells, among other things, vintage glassware. If things do not sell promptly, we move them on to Goodwill. We brought several boxes to this donation center, with items carefully packed. Despite being told there was fragile glassware, the worker DUMPED a box containing two sets of crystal stemware. Some did not survive. We don't donate junk - we donate good usable items. Needless to say, we will find other places to donate that will treat our items with some care. read more

Bins. Wow. Clothing in Bins. My first visit today to Goodwill. I actually checked it out online first, and I read about the bins, but to actually see it and experience it? Wow. Ok..I have been to Savers and to Consignment Stores, but the clothes at those stores are hang on hangers, like a normal clothing store....so to see clothing set in bins is actually kind of shocking. I just wandered around first, trying to learn about what was happening. The store is vast, with wall-to-wall blue bins in rows. There are two types of merchandise in the bins; "hard lines" and "soft lines." Hard lines are toys, records, shoes, and assorted items. Soft lines are clothing. Hard line signs are dark blue, soft line signs are light blue. People engage aggressively with both the hard and soft lines, and the bins "churn" with merchandise as hands move it around. This was an experience to take in. It was actually a turn-off for me. I don't think I'll be returning.... read more

What treasures await you?!?! You never know when you go to a goodwill clearance center. Sometimes you need to be very quick and lucky that the bin that rolls up to you will have the treasures waiting to be found lol. It's worth giving it a try if you don't mind trying something a little different from the usual stores. read more

I like coming here to look around. The shoppers or should I say "resellers" are rude asf. They hog all the carts and wait like vultures for the new bins to come out. It's actually fun and laughable watch them pounce on the new bins. And when the workers yell at them...lmao. But do wear gloves if you come here to dig for items. I came here with a friend and kids which was an adventure in itself and I have to say it was kinda fun. I haven't been thrusting since I was a kid and found that a lot of people find great stuff. They rotate the bins and people line up to basically jump in it's very hands on. You can be looking in the same bin as someone else as that's what I saw a lot of. You definitely have to have lots of patience and dig through a lot to find some gems. The working lot gets so packed so if you are someone that likes to thrift I would suggest coming in super early. read more

Dear Shop Goodwill Online Store ( Winnetka Ave,) RE: Singer Red Eye Antique Sewing Machine I made a Steller effort to pick up this item and pay in person today. On the payment page, an address and store hours were listed. Also, the instructions directed me to call for a pick-up appointment. This morning I called 3 times. No one answered the phone. I left a message to call me back at 9:30 am. At 11:00 am I still had no call back. I drove to the store ( 30 miles one-way ) to retrieve my item. When I pulled up an employee was outside...playing on a phone. Too bad he couldn't maybe answer the phone. I asked if I could pick up the item. I was told 1. I had to pay for the item online before I could see the item. 2. I needed an appointment and they were too busy to give me an appointment today 3. After I paid for the item, getting an appointment might take 2 days, because they were so busy processing orders. Funny? The parking lot was empty. I explained I had driven 30 miles to get the item, and was happy to pay without seeing the item. However, I wanted to plug it in to see if it worked. Purchased a collection of Miche purses on their online auction, the price and the product was fine. What received from Goodwill Brooklyn park,was a beat up old frying pan, which I never ordered. My wife called and left several messages to a person at Brooklyn Park Goodwill, never called back. I would bother buying any thing online from this goodwill location. If you have the patience to dig through bins and bins and bins of stuff, and you love a great deal, this place is for you!!!! You pay by the weight which makes it such an awesome deal! People get crazy intense with gloves and are sure to fight you for that cute top or jacket. They are constantly rotating out the bins and refilling them throughout the day. You could seriously go when they open as stay until they close. I found some Nike capris in awesome shape and a cute gymshark sweater. Just keep digging and eventually you will find buried treasure. If you aren't planning on going hog wild and buying the entire store, bring a bag. It is way easier to maneuver in the crowds with a bag than a shopping cart. Be warned, if you leave your cart unattended, someone may acquire something in it. It's definitely a great way to spend a day off. If you have never been, you have to try it at least once. They advertised a 754 pound lot of Lego. I received 224 pounds. Even if you subtract 100 pounds for the pallet and gaylord, they were still 430 pounds off. Was someone standing (or maybe two people?) on the scale? Or did you put the forks on the forklift on the scale as well. This was grossly mistated and negligent. I would go as far as to say fraudulent. They overstated the weight of the product by 200+% I have never been so disgusted by an organizatoin in my life. They wont return calls, or even pick up when I call, despite being open. read more
