Anyway, they were on the ski lift after their third run when my son/husband noticed my son's skis were chunking apart all along both skis. My son had not crashed. My son is an advanced but cautious skier and with my husband the entire time. They were at Wild Mountain doing first season runs. Nothing wild about it. Anyway, when they returned I took the skis in as clearly there was a product issue. I was greeted by John in the ski department. I was, undoubtably, frustrated as my son had ski plans for today and starts school ski club Friday. John made a rude comment about me being frustrated and how "kids banging their skis together cause that kind of damage" that immediately put me on defense. My husband and son arrived at 10:45am and I had received a text about the skis falling apart by noon. I again repeated that they had only completed three runs and asked how that was possible my son damaged the skis. John continued to blame my son for the damage. Now my husband is a life long skier, I took skiing up as an adult, and if anyone should have damage to skis it should be me. My husband was floored as to cause as he has never seen skis do this. The manager was brought in and agreed to take the skis back, replace them and bind them (thank you) but that is where the only positive customer service ended. John came back to have me sign a release for mounting and kept going on needing to talk to my son about knocking his skis together (because that is what happened in his opinion) and would not let it go, again and again, even after I again stated this was noted after three runs, first season runs, at Wild. I finally asked John if the entire interaction would have been the same had my husband been standing there instead of me. John continued on. The manager stepped in and told John to give it a rest and he still didn't want to stop. I appreciate the quick turn around help from the manager but the front facing customer service was horrific. Hoigaard's lost a customer last night.

Unconscionable, BAD BUSINESS!! I treated the bike very well. Trek should take much of the blame here too. Garbage headset.

Have to be honest, its off Highway 7 in what could be a random location. The shop isn't much to speak of, I've been in my share of bike shops (husband also fancies himself a 'Cutter') so the display of bikes seemed less than inspired. However what they lacked in impressive inventory they made up for in service ! ! ! I was helped by a great guy who took one look at my sad tire and was back in minutes with it replaced with a stronger tube for the same price. I'd take my bike back here anytime to get a tune up; fair, nice, and fast.

(This was done to an entire group of storage areas.) This meant moving some of my stored and neatly arranged items out of the storage area while they were working and then moving them back into the storage area wherever they fit as some of the space was taken up by the new door. I was only called after it was all done to get a key for another lock. I questioned whether there could have been theft or items broken during this remodel. The owner didn't care. I asked why I wasn't notified about what they were going to do. He said they had the right to do the remodel without my knowledge. Another time they didn't have a digital copy of my rent agreement so they locked me out of my storage area until they got a digital agreement signed from me, even though I was paid up and had the hard copy I originally signed. I also second all reviews about frequent and 10% + rent increases. Oh and don't forget to give them a timely copy of your rental insurance agreement each year as they will slap a fee on for insurance without any second warning. This is not a criticism of the staff which I didn't have any problems with. In summary, you and your possessions are beholden to storage areas, who can raise rents and do whatever they want. They more or less hold your precious possessions for ransom.

This book box is located in the most famous of Dublin's parks. It's right in the center of the Heritage Park, close to the information booth. It's obviously brand new, brightly decorated, and stocked with new condition books. Be sure to check out the attractive artwork on the sides and especially the rear of the book box. I thought this was an attractive book box, and a real credit to the city. Thank you Dublin and thank you to the artist for creating this wonderful little library.

The box has clearly been here a while as the paint is peeling in some areas, the screws are rusted and some of the wood is separated. That said, the interior of the library is dry and that's good. There were no books in the library. Completely empty except for a card with a Bible quote. This is charter number 53633 and the steward has their name in the online listing which includes this caption, "This Little Free Library is sponsored by Tershel & Associates. This LFL is located next to the Washington County Court House on the corner of S. Main and Cherry Street. This library serves the community with free books for all ages and encourages the growth of literacy. The library was locally build and managed by a Tershel employee. Be sure to check this one out!" Bought a used bike from here. In less then 24 hours before we had the chance to use the bike, the back tire broke and wouldn't fill up air. When we purchased the bike, the owner did not tell us that returns were not accepted. Even though we bought the bike less than 24 hours ago and haven't even used it, they still did not accept a return or exchange. THERE WAS NO RETURN POLICY WRITTEN ANYWHERE IN THE STORE. The return policy was on the receipt that was given to us after we purchased the bike. They did a safety check prior and still the bike wasn't working when we brought it home. This is extremely unprofessional and unethical to sell a faulty bike and not tell costumers you don't accept returned bikes. The owner was extremely disrespectful, condescending, and unprofessional towards me. I've been biking my whole life and have been to many used bike shops and have never experienced this. Wouldn't recommend purchasing anything here. In response to the owner's reply: The owner falsely accused me of being agitated, combative, threatening him, and yelling at customers. I told one customer in the parking lot not to spend their money at this business due to unethical business practices. These claims are entirely false and I take them very seriously. He alleged I threatened him simply for mentioning that I would be leaving a review, which is a standard business practice, not a threat. It's clear the owner is trying to make himself look better by making these false claims. Moreover, his treatment towards women is particularly disrespectful. Good luck with your business if this is how you treat customers. I wouldn't recommend purchasing here. There are many other great and more affordable used bike shops in the Twin Cities that accept returns. read more

After years of riding mountian bikes I decided to trry a road bike. Like everybody else I wanted a nice bike but didnt want to pay a lot for it because I didnt know if I would like a road bike. I picked up a used frame with no components. I wasnt sure how to go about setting it up to be rideable. I got sticker shock from 2 price quotes of the bigger shops in the metro area. I decided to try Jonny Rock Bikes. He was cheaper and spent some time explaining the quality differences of the componeents. I hate high pressure sales and Jon didnt pressure me just gave me the options and let me choose. After deciding on what to do I told him to take his time and a couple days later he called to say it was ready. I have put over 300 miles on it since then with no problems. I havent used my mountain bike since I got it. Love the bike and the service. Plus its nice to support a small local business. I would recommend Jonny Rock Bikes to anyone. read more

Jonny was absolutely great to buy a bike from. I'm doing my first triathlon and don't know much about bikes and he walked me through everything and set me up with the perfect fit. He was very helpful and I couldn't be more happy with my bike. He was the third place I went to and I'm glad I did. I may not know a lot about bikes, but I do know a lot about sales and customer service and Jonny Rock Bikes hit it out of the park on both. If you don't at least talk to them when you're looking to buy a bike or whatever your need is you are doing yourself a disservice. Highly recommend them. read more

I purchased my Tern GSD here, and have had it and many other cycles serviced here many times. They've always done right by me. They were fantastic for the bike purchase: they let me spend hours test riding different models, and their extensive advice about configuring the Tern was 100% spot on -- from big stuff like the tradeoffs between rear rack / seat options down to tiny details like getting a quick-release key clip on my keyring for the wheel lock key. Wait times for a full service can be long: schedule in advance! You may find cheaper tune-ups elsewhere, but at Perennial you'll get more than your money's worth. They've always been really thorough and thoughtful, tracing subtle noise issues to the root (like the fact that I had the front and back wheels swapped on a bike where they're actually infinitesimally different sizes!). They've made some preventative suggestions that were spot on, such as a nonstandard front mud flap to protect the e-bike motor in winter riding. It's a small shop, and the accessory selection is pretty small. If you want a helmet, for example, you might find more choices elsewhere. But if you want to purchase or service a bike, this is a great place!

I have been a longtime customer of Perennial Cycle and have spent a significant amount of money…read morehere over the years, including purchasing a Yuba Spicy Curry and accessories totaling at least $7,000. Most recently, I came in with my daughter on my Tern HSD to buy several accessories: a Tern Captain's Chair, Tern front loader basket, Tern saddle, and a Yuba Crescent handlebar. The total after tax was $643.12. I rode the bike there specifically because these are cargo bike accessories and fit matters. After purchasing them, I asked whether the shop could install them, since the items clearly would not fit on the bike otherwise and I needed to get home with my daughter. I did not receive a clear answer about whether installation was available, whether there would be a fee, or whether they had time to do it that day. Instead, the interaction became confusing and uncomfortable. I was willing to install the parts myself on site, and I had an Allen wrench with me. I only needed to borrow a 10 mm wrench briefly to hold the nuts that came with the accessories. From across the store, a mechanic I had not interacted with shouted that they "don't rent out tools for stuff like that." I explained that I had just spent over $600 in the store, had spent thousands there previously, and simply needed a basic tool for a short time so I could safely get home with the accessories I had just purchased. The salesperson still could not give me a clear answer and seemed not to understand what tool I was asking for. I ultimately said that I could either return the items or borrow the tool for about 20 minutes. They refused to lend me the tool, so I returned the entire purchase and left. What bothered me most was not just the refusal. It was the lack of clear communication, the dismissive tone, and the unwillingness to help solve a very basic problem for a customer who had just made a substantial purchase and had a child with them. I have worked in bike shops myself, and my experience has always been that shops help customers with newly purchased accessories, especially when the issue is as simple as installing a few bolts or briefly lending a common hand tool. I left feeling like my business and loyalty did not matter. I expected much better from a shop that specializes in exactly these kinds of bikes and accessories.

It took me a bit to figure it out but I ended up getting what I needed which was a Uhaul truck. I did order additional equipment: furniture pads and dollys. They were not loaded into the truck and there was no indication of how I could retrieve them since they were closed. Again, I got what I needed which was a Uhaul truck but I was basing how much help I needed on having 2 dollies so to not have them was an inconvenience. After returning my truck and noting that the equipment was not present, I received a receipt the next day with a refund for only a portion of the missing additional equipment. I'm glad that they recognized and did not charge me entirely for the missing equipment but there was not indication of why I wasn't given a full refund of that equipment. I reached out to them to simply ask why and I did not receive a response. Overall I would not recommend renting Uhaul equipment from this shop. Not sure how they are as a bike shop but I'm not willing to find out!

Mark was super about communicating, letting me know what he'd found, and making recommendations for parts that were in line with what my expectations were - both in terms of performance and cost. I've put about 100 miles on it since getting it back four days ago and I can honestly say that in the four years I've owned it, this bike has never felt better or rode more nicely than it does now. I bought a pair of good road bike shoes form them. They were an older pair, and broke about 2 mo…read moreafter purchase. They supposedly worked with Bontrager to replace but I had to keep checking back only to find the claim was not filed the first time around and 2nd time they refused warranty. I called trek myself and they looked up the claim explained the process and said it refunded the purchase price, but since it was a close out they would refund the full price so that I could get a comparable pair of shoes. The store should have been the ones to work with them, not make the customer do that! I have been without shoes now for over 3 weeks in prime riding season. THIS shop does not loom out for customers. All it took was a quick call to trek to sort things out!!! Now they are shipping the correct shoes based on MY CALL to trek. All they needed to do was call..... such a disappointment. Even the trek representative said most of the time a shop will call to fix the problem.
