They really fixed themselves, in the past I had a good experience then I didn't haven't been in months but decided to come back. They have really improved themselves. This Goodwill is pretty nice! Like most thrift stores, it can be hit or miss when it comes to the products, but I've always had a good experience with the service. The staff is consistently kind and helpful, and the store itself is clean and well-organized. These days I'm always on the hunt for a good deal, and more often than not, I find one here. Priced a powered PA speaker at $79 that was completely dead. It would not turn on at all. No lights, no sound, nothing. This is something that takes literally five seconds to test, yet it was put on the floor at near-used-market pricing. When I returned it, I was told refunds are store credit only, even though the item was nonfunctional. That policy might be convenient for Goodwill, but it effectively shifts all risk onto the customer for items they clearly do not test. If you are going to charge premium prices for electronics, you need to do the bare minimum and verify they power on. Otherwise, you are just selling broken items and trapping people in store credit. This experience ensured I won't be shopping here again. Buyers beware, especially with electronics. read more

The most over priced used items I've seen in a while and several other customers were complaining about it as well. All purses were marked $12.99 for the rattiest, faux leather trash. Get rid and of trash and price accordingly. We don't want to lose another GW in the area because of lack of business. Manager needs to look at items and over pricing and fix it. read more

My local favorite Goodwill! Pop in almost everyday but anytime is a Goodtime to thrift! I've found so many Amazing items be it clothing items! Shoes! - so far my favorite thrift shop - big with a lot of options - i am usually able to find around 5 good items as a young female (a lot of my favorite clothing items are from here!!) - prices are great - not a lot of options for middle schoolers though :( - if there's a lot of people, the wait to pay is long cuz there's usually js one cashier - toilets are musty so i recommend going potty before coming - four changing rooms i think. they're kinda dusty and musty read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had making donations. First off, I make sure everything I donate is in working order and clean other than maybe some dust that's collected on it. I do my best to only donate things that actually have value and can be resold. I had two vehicle loads worth of stuff to drop off today and I'm glad that is done. The second I pulled up a "nice" employee by the name of Yolanda approached my vehicle and upon seeing my first load she said she wouldn't be excepting most of what was in there. This was surprising since most of it was in containers and there was very little she could see. She scrutinized everything that I took out of the vehicle while watching me unload. Multiple times she said "We won't take that" I would ask why and then she'd ask "what is it?". I would explain and she would end up taking it. The only thing that she didn't accept in the first load was a shower chair, a snorkel and mask, and a plastic set of drawers. She did manage to chastise me on the things that weren't in boxes and told me next time everything had to be in a box or container. Off to get my second load. This time I made sure everything was in a box. She rushed out to my car and told me I couldn't park where I did, so I moved 5 feet and apparently that was ok. She again was waiting for me to open the back of my SUV. She sighed when she saw it was packed and everything was boxed up. I unloaded everything and the second I put the first box down she was digging through it. This time the only thing she wouldn't take was an air purifier. I told her it was fairly expensive and again she asked "what is it?" I explained and she still said no. I understand some things of value are not allowed to be resold due to company policy, law, or whatever, and I don't have any issue with that. I also realize these employees are working for a charity and non-profit and probably aren't making a lot of money. I can appreciate that, but at the same time I expect to be with a little bit of respect. Yolanda was a very unhappy woman that did not appear to enjoy her job and I was the lucky one that got to deal with her. I will continue to donate what I can, but I won't be doing it at this location. read more

I have been going to this location for years several times a week since I live so close not sure what's happening recently it's gone so far down hill a mess shelves are bare and I know there's donations I see lots of people dropping off merchandise new management needs to get a grip or something! read more

I have thoroughly enjoyed shopping at this thrift store since moving to area in 2017! You just never Know what Treasure you will find! Many times I've found items I was just Thinking about needing! They have stuff that's still in decent condition. Employees are very kind and helpful. They have discounts on certain days that pertain to tags on clothing. The plastic tags string! There's definitely nothing more exciting than walking in and just browsing aisles seen what you find! read more

I came here recently March 30th, 2022. There is a pink hair lady associate that is very nice. She help us through out the store and was extremely pleasant to be around. There are several stuff there such as artwork, statues, vases, etc. most of the nice stuff are behind the cashier counter. I highly recommend this place for both donation and shop! read more

So I thrift shop to try to make extra money. So it's extremely important for me to get every dollar for what I resell especially since Goodwill is a bit pricey. Also now good will sells online like eBay so finding stuff that's worth a profit now can seem like a waste of time. That being said I had purchased a green bag which was in extremely good condition. I got home and removed the sticker on the handles, and it completely removed the the paint. I went back to ask for an exchange since it was the employees fault, and not mine. The manager refused to work with me, and said it was my fault I didn't check the bag before I left. I explained to him again it wasn't my fault. It didn't matter and I was stuck with a bag I paid $20 dollars for. I can't even get 5 dollars for it so it was thrown away. They both told me to use permanent marker and color it in. Excuse me I didn't need their input. I went to the goodwill in the galleria area a week later, and explained the circumstances. He told me they could've, and should've done it without hesitation. That what they also said was uncalled for, and unprofessional. I added the photos that I used to sell as the bag was in perfect condition, but due to negligence from the employees it was damaged, and had to be tossed out. So, now I just make sure there are no stickers anywhere that would mess the product up. I triple check every item, and I make sure if it's a final sale before I get stuck with something that I can't use, and will lose money on. read more

We are going to donate a Corvette kids bed but the lady told us that we cannot donate it because they don't have time to assemble it again we took it apart the bed and they are not allowed that. Y'all have lost your d*** minds with some of the pricing on the junk you sell in your stores. I came in looking for a cheap canvas art piece for a "Pintrest Project" and y'all have 3 of the exact same pieces they sell at Hobby Lobby marked at $13 each, while they are $24.99 at Hobby Lobby and 50% off every other week. So it would literally be cheaper for me to buy brand new on sale, than to buy used at Goodwill. I goodwill once a week, it is my passion and I love looking at everything, and sometimes spend 2-3 hours each visit and have been a faithful GW shopper for 20 plus years. This particular store is my Neiborhood store, I donate tons here and I also drop in weekly to shop . I have never had so many rude unfriendly cashiers at any goodwill store I have ever visited, they treat their customers so poorly, every time I am there. I hate that, and I will no longer go to this store from now on because of it and I won't give my hard earned money to a location with poor management moral ! also the plus size area is the biggest mess I have ever seen week to week, assorted sizes always mixed in (same items week to week) and it's so crowded you can't even push the hangers to see items. Come on GW your not selling cheaply anymore, your making a killing off donations, at least clean up your employees attitudes and declutter your racks so people can shop easier ! read more

After checking out the local Planet Fitness, I decided to check out Goodwill. It was ok after browsing for about 5 minutes, this cashier made an announcement stating that they will be closing in 15 minutes but she has no customer service or anything. She was rude saying that you got 10 mins before she closes her register (she was the only cashier) and stated that "I don't know what to tell you". WOW.. Ok the store closes in 15 minutes but you closes in 10 minutes hmm where do that makes any sense? But either way, I will never visit this location or donate here. I prefer to spend my money somewhere else. read more
