Every team member brings a smile to your face and the customers are amazing. Volunteers are alwasy helpful and smiling. The organization itself is amazing and I am proud to say that I am a valued member of it. The amount of men, women, and children who need help in the saginaw area is always growing and this organization always has its arms open and ready to help. They are well organized as well as the DVDs. You can't beat the pricing for hard cover books at $1.49 each. It wasn't until I left that I noticed I was charged $2.99 for a book and $4.99 for the Forest Gump DVD. These items had small stickers on the spine that I thought were hold overs from the person who donated the items. The other books were $1.49. The children's book I purchased was only 49 cents. I will be back because this is next door to one of my favorite ice cream shops!

Empty jars that candles came in .. for 3.99 each. YEP... completely empty clear glass jars that used to have a candle in it. Some even with the old label still on them and they are selling them for 4 bucks a piece! GEE I wonder how much you could sell a Tomato sauce jar for? I hope they have an explanation for this and please since I cant imagine that they could explain it.. I hope they have someone go through their shelves and price items like they are not on dope. MY PLAN moving forward Ive ALWAYS donated to Salvation army with $$ with household goods and by shopping there. Im going to start donating to smaller thrift stores that are not trying to match new store prices. There are Thrift stores that continue to do the work locally.. sell their donated items at a sensible profit without overpricing everything and treat their senior and veteran communities with a respectful discount one day a week. I saw they had pink 50% off, yellow 99 cents, and they had some 49 cent items. I walked through the decor, kitchen, household item area first. I noticed a lot of the prices were pretty cheap. I found some foam stickers for the kids for crafting. Towards the back they have a bunch of yellow tagged items all in oen spot, where it is easy to find the deals. This is something I wish other thrift stores would do as well. They do have a small kids area and I found a bunch of things for 99 cents. They have some books, toys, and cds as well. The store is very clean and the staff was kind when walking in. The lines were not long and the store wasn't packed for a Saturday.
