Cleanliness really matters to me, especially when visiting with my kids...and Sugar Planet exceeded expectations! What truly made our visit unforgettable, though, was David. He was phenomenal. My 10 year old son had a LOT of excitement and curiosity, and David handled all of it with incredible patience and genuine kindness, especially when my son was checking out and counting his money. He took his time, never rushed us, and made my son feel comfortable, heard, and important. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does and cares about the people who walk through the door. David's friendly attitude and calm, positive energy turned what could have been a quick stop into a really special experience for us. Small mix of some retro candies and some newer trends- if you're looking to spend some money on a novelty experience, there is definitely something for everybody here. I wish they had a bit more geared toward babies, as they had teethers and things of that nature but not many outfits (which happened to be mostly what I was looking for). My son is in love with trains, and just loved watching the motorized train set go around the store. I shop mostly at children's boutiques, and did find them a bit overpriced, especially with more common brands like Maileg and Jellycat. It's in a fantastic location, and I liked that they had some fun beach toys as well.
