Just want to give a review on and shout out to Haven House and its Thrift Shop. The Haven House Addiction Recovery program offers support to men suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. Men recovering from alcohol and drug addiction work there to support themselves. They have 3 stores in PCB, Santa Rosa Beach and Miramar Beach. We went there yesterday looking for a few items. They were friendly, helpful and have an all around awesome staff. I wish every retail store would learn from them on how to treat and help customers. The thrift shop had an excellent selection of furniture, clothing and household items. I strongly recommend my local peeps to shop there. They go above and beyond to help you. While paying l was offered a sample of their granola and the clerk explained that they make it at 'the house' and l learned about the drug rehab ministry behind this store. I've been to Haven House several times now. They have a great selection of books, all for $1 - WHAT!!! I've also stopped by looking for furniture. Each time I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for (have something in mind) but they have always had a nice selection of good quality furniture. Couches, desks, dining room tables, etc. They also seem to have a good selection of clothing to browse through. I've purchased a t-shirt from them for $1, but haven't really looked for any other clothing just yet. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. This is a nice establishment. I feel confident that their profits directly go to the betterment of their employees. They also sell locally-made granola and honey. I purchased a package of the granola last week at their Santa Rosa location, and it is delicious. Can't even compare it to store-bought granola. read more

We always visit this store a couple times when on vacation. It is small but well stocked. Some days, you'll find a great selection, other days maybe not but that's true with all thrift stores. Lots of furniture, can't rate the prices, I didn't shop for furniture. Books, clothes, toys, household items reasonably priced except for artwork. I do find the artwork overpriced. We come here for books, toys, and household items and usually find something. Easy to find and has own parking lot. Friendly employees. read more

One of the best thrift stores I've ever been to. My husband and I were visiting Santa Rosa and the surrounding area remodeling our home on a budget and needed furniture. We happened on Haven House by a suggestion from someone we had just met and boy were we lucky. We found just what we were looking for. We couldn't believe our luck. The piece we found was beautiful, solid wood, great condition and on sale "Managers Special". The young gentleman who helped us was a young father who had been helped by Haven House. He was a great young man who we enjoyed talking to and reminded us of our kids and he was proud of the program he was in. I think it's a great program and a great place.
