Im having to repost because it got deleted. I have been visiting this center for years. I was parking when next to me was an older woman with glasses wearing a Goodwill t shirt I did get a glimpse of her name tag said Veronica. She approach me before heading in and asked me if I was interested in purchasing furniture or items from the center. I said yes that's why im here. She replied with "no i get the inventory before it comes out to the floor and can "sell" it to me for a cheaper price. Isn't that stealing? I said no thanks and just left i want no part in a scam or thief. I tried calling and I got hung up on. I will be reporting to higher power. They really need to remove this thief from our community. Granted, I'll never figure out how pricing is done at Goodwills. How can something be priced higher than the retail original price? The ticket is still in in many cases. How can they charge $6.99 for a $2.00 Hobby Lobby glass vase? Or $4.99 for a chair???? Anyway, it doesn't stop me from looking for good deals. This Goodwill was one of the most organized I'd been to. Clean, orderly, and easy to find the type of items you're seeking. It's much smaller than most thrift stores I've been in but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The Lewisville Goodwill store itself is clean, organized, the racks are shoppable, and the prices are priced well for the most part especially on the furniture. I frequent this location because it is very close to where I live so I'm there 3 to 4 times a week. My issue is with the current male store manager who I've yet to see smile, and in my opinion is rude, unprofessional, not personable at all and lack the knowledge of managing a store or have any conflict resolution. The female manager Latoria is AMAZING, always smiling and eager to help however, I have not seen her there lately. There's also one young female cashier that is always on the end at the first register when I am there that never has a clue on the process of buying furniture and an attitude that's very dry and she shouldn't be anywhere near a cash register or upfront behind the counter period. Twice, I've purchased items that were already spoken or paid for and was told "ma'am find something else' and had to have my money refunded back to me. Not an "I apologize" "I'm sorry" nothing and he actually reprimanded me and not the same cashier who rung up the purchases both times. Two separate incidents. One item was a dresser without a price tag , the other item was a nightstand that had a price tag this time but no barcode. (FYI /PSA if a piece of furniture does not have a price tag just assume that someone else is going to purchase it also if the item has a tag on it that identifies that item and a price but no barcode assume that that item is spoken for as well smh!) Not only is it embarrassing but frustrating. Goodwill should do a better job at screening it's employees or training ( in this case retraining employees) and putting them in positions that they clearly lack the skills of being in. Would I go back absolutely because of the quality of and prices of designer pieces that I have found. I will however take a break from purchasing furniture and going forward I will checkout with someone else. read more

Same as the other Goodwills in this area as they do not organize by size, but choose to organize by color. Infuriating to go through every overpriced item to try and even find your size. Would take so much longer than any other thrift store in the area. Also, "formal dresses" were priced at $17, but attached is a photo of what this Goodwill deems as a formal dress. Wow... I came here to donate a nice dining room table and chairs, and some other items due to downsizing. I pulled up in the u haul and was greeted by a very abrupt woman demanding to know what I was dropping off. I told her a mirror and dining room table and she said "I definitely ain't taking that!!" (Talking about the mirror) I asked about the table and she said "nope! Ain't got room for that." And she just walked away. Was floored by how rude she was, especially since it was a donation and in excellent condition. I'm guessing she was probably a volunteer working off some community service hours or something. I certainly hope she was not an employee being paid. I understand not having room, but there's a better way to communicate this message. Definitely a good training opportunity... read more

Have been shopping at this store for many years, but now, not so much. The only reason I go there at all is because it's the only thrift store close to me. The place has become a curated boutique, not a thrift store. No longer do I find interesting items at a reasonable price. Also, I suspect most of the donation are just discarded because they don't make the cut for the boutique. The store used to have a crowded parking lot and store. Now it doesn't because of prices and lack of merchandise. You would think they would notice that. Don't do there and don't donate to them. read more

This place must was giving away something as it was sort of demoished. Ladies hit it early, so i heard and just did a locust style sweep of this store. The goodwills in Louisiana does not come close to this store, even in its demolished state. I will shop here again. read more

Worst Goodwill I've ever been to. Employees are rude and passive aggressive and talk bad about customers right in front of them. I've dropped off donations multiple times at this location and I've never been helped with unloading. Employees will slam and throw my donation bags and give me attitude for absolutely no reason when I have been nothing but polite to them. The store doesn't have a lot of selections like they used to have and always looks empty, but the store is very organized and clean. read more

This is a pretty decent Goodwill. Today alone I found a North Face jacket (only $5.99), a Rachel Roy dress, a Max and Cleo dress, and some other great pieces. If you're willing to spend some time digging and hunting, then you're bound to find some treasures here. On the downside, it is pretty disorganized, even for a Goodwill. Also, there's usually a long check-out line with only one person ringing up customers. Other than that, I have no complaints. Customer service is fine and as long as I keep finding great merchandise at unbeatable prices I give Goodwill Lewisville 4 stars. read more

I have to admit I love me some Goodwill. I am spoiled by the one in Tyler where I grew up that is a Super Goodwill. This location is a decent size and has a lot of different products to choose from. The prices for most jeans was $6.99. This particular trip I needed jeans and boy did I find them (look at the pic I posted). I found jeans from 7 for All Kind, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Apple Bottoms and many other big names. It's amazing the amazing deals you can find if you take the time to go through the racks. I do wish this store was a bit more organized so that it's easy to find whatever size you may need. There were 2 pair that should have been in a free bin because they were damaged something I feel the staff didn't notice. You can feel good about shopping here as they help so many people find work and be productive members of society. I will definitely be back soon. read more

Great place to get stuff for my ebay store, I sell a lit of dishes and I love that goodwill has standard prices for most stuff like plates 99cents, bowls 69cents, ect. It takes a little digging but I can usually find some dishes that I can sell for $25 a piece. read more

I will admit, the interior is a bit more organized lately, but now it seems that the prices have gone up considerably. Pants are averaging around $10 now. What happened to the $4.99, $5.99 pants I used to be able to find all the time? I wanted to buy a VCR for nostalgic reasons, and they were also $10...for a VCR! That's absurd! How about $5.00? It's old and outdated technology. I guess I wouldn't have such a problem with their pricing if I thought the profits were really going to benefit people in need. But, as been revealed lately in the news, Goodwill's CEOs are making an average of $300,000/yr. and the employees are on minimum wage. Makes me wonder where that influx of profit is really going. read more

This is the worst Goodwill I've ever been to. Ever. In terms of customer service, employee friendliness and helpfulness, I've never felt more like an inconvenience than when I'm shopping here. Let's now include thieving liar to how I'm made to feel because just today I was ready to buy a couple of small handbags which were out on the floor for $1.99. All handbags are this price unless otherwise marked. So, I get up to the cashier and she asked me where I got them. I said they were out on the floor and that they're $1.99. One was a vintage sequined clutch but it was in less than fabulous condition. She looked at me like I was crazy and said, "No, they're supposed to be under the glass." Me: "Well, I got them out on the floor." "They're supposed to be under the glass and they're $7 each. Do you still want 'em?" I said no, and she grabbed them and threw them under the glass case unceremoniously. I should've asked to speak to a manager but since it was New Year's Day, I figured there was no point. I've been treated poorly by this same woman on several occasions. Another woman who works there wasn't all that great, either, but I figured she might have some issues going on. But really, if you've got people working with the public, the least you can do is train them properly. I've never had such bad experiences, on such a consistent basis, as I have at this particular Goodwill store. Avoid it like the plague if you can. read more

The only reason it got a three star is because it has the worst customer service hands down than any place I've been. Ever. There is always a line and the checkout person is typically slow and rude. So far I have come here twice to drop off my donations and I have had no trouble at all. I just pull my car into the drive thru and the sliding doors open and someone comes out with a cart to help me immediately. They give you a tax receipt if needed and I go on my merry way! So simple! read more

They should declare this store a disaster area. Every rack and bin in disarray and no staff on hand to keep the aisles straight or clean. Forget about housewares and furnishings; items were stacked and shoved onto shelves in no particular arrangement, causing untold damage. Good luck finding a deal here. And the smell! Probably the most organized Goodwill I've ever been in, and the prices weren't bad either! They do a "discount if the day" based on a specific tag color, today the blue tags were 50% off and I got three pairs of shorts for $11 total. This was my first time dropping off at this location and the first time I've encountered rude employees at a Goodwill. The young guy who took my donations hummed while he was slowly organizing the many shoes in my bin while I stood there waiting. Then he said "there you go" when he was finished. So I had to walk inside, over to the desk, move the chair and reach for my empty bin. It doesn't seem like a difficult job but he was apparently inconvenienced and miserable. This is probably the BEST thrift store in our area, other than maybe the CCA. I ALWAYS find some good deals. Thanks to the afluent area where this store is located, you can find good quality items.They are well sorted and clean, for a thrift shop. Yes, you will find broken items, as in any other thrift store in the country. So just remember to take a very good look at your items before you purchase. Do you need to dig to find the treasures? Of course, that's the nature of the beast :) and part of the fun. They really need more space though, if you ask me. I have noticed lately, that the other thrift stores in the area have raised their prices by a good bit. Goodwill still has truly thriftstore pricing. I have found the staff to be friendly and polite, no issues yet, and I have been shopping here pretty regularly for the past year. read more

Insanely overpriced! If it wasn't stained or damaged, it was ridiculously marked up. So disappointing.

They usually have decent stuff, especially during the week (vs. the weekend). I find office supplies, pictures frames, glassware, and other housewares regularly. However, their customer service is pretty bad. Most of the employees are slow, rude, and look like you are bothering them if you get within 5 feet. There is always a line to checkout, even if there is only 5 customers in the whole store. However I have a seen a couple of new cashiers that are much nicer but they are the exception. read more

There is no "goodwill" for customers at the Lewisville store. I've seen broken glass on the floor, no organization and forget trying to look at women's clothing! Goodwill may be trying to clean up their act but the personnel stinks. Depending on the store. The one on 3040 seems friendly depending on who is working and is clean in Lewisville..the one on main in Lewisville always stinks of dirty shoes when going through the front door. They always have a huge turnover in personnel. Finding out because they constantly are back stabbing their employees and customers and is dirty depending on the day.The one in Dallas off Midway and Franford in Dallas are extremely rude and dirty. This is what they are teaching employees that they are trying to put in the work place.? What a joke. Digging deeper the Ceo needs to start within the company and look into his supervisors and human resources at the corporate level. For a company supposedly getting something for free they really need to become more humble and clean up their act.Really makes me not want to donate again and I used to. I had a couple of couches to drop off, in pretty good condition that I didn't want to just throw away, but they've been replaced. Someone suggested having Goodwill pick them up. Nice, that way they can go to someone who needs them instead of just throwing them out. So I called the phone number for the store, the lady was very nice, and said they'd happily take them at any donation center, but they no longer did pickups. I guess that's understandable. So I find a day that a friend with a truck isn't busy, we load them up, strap them down, and set off to the local Goodwill As soon as we pull up "We don't take furniture." Really? The person on the phone said to bring them here? "Sorry" Meanwhile, the car behind us had a chair they were already unloading. Between this and CCA refusing to pick up a leather sofa because it had been clawed on one side, (if it were in perfect condition, I'd sell it, not donate it, but it'll make someone a good couch for $50, and that side goes against the wall) I'm done with trying to donate anything. I'll end up doing like I did with the leather couch, take a sledgehammer to it, break it down and stick it in the garbage. read more

The two stars is because of the sometimes good items. The customer service is as someone else has said, worse than the dps! Today I attempted to buy a flat cap which was in the bin for .99 cents and I got to the register and the african lady said it was 2.99 because it was a hat! Everybody who has a flat cap knows that they are a cap! Also the aisles are infintessimally small and if one average human is standing in the aisle you cannot possibly get by!
