I don't shop here often, but I like to pop in occasionally to see what they have. This time, though, I was genuinely surprised by some of the pricing. Especially on purses, shoes, and furniture. A lot of it felt wildly inflated, even compared to Goodwill. I kept browsing out of sheer curiosity and couldn't wrap my head around some of the tags: used plastic shoes priced at $40+, a worn out Michael Kors bag for $30. The clothing section seemed more reasonably priced, although I didn't notice any higher-value brands to really justify a comparison. Overall, this place feels very hit or miss. You might stumble across a decent find, but anything with a recognizable name seems to be marked up far beyond what it's worth. read more

I actually like the Salvation Army thrift store. It's the pick up service that's trash. I tried to donate bed frames. First, it was they can't take disassembled furniture then he was complaining they weren't disassembled enough Like which excuse is it,liar. He also complained about a few scratches..well duh it's free donated furniture. I shop at the Salvation Army all the time. No one expects anything from the thrift store to be brand new. His last excuse they won't fit in the truck. I put the donation was two bed frames so why was he acting stupid,tf . Never again. read more

I'm updating my review on this place. Today I came in with a friend and a staff member immediately called out to us telling us we had to put her small backpack behind the employee counter. There's nothing like walking in to a business and right away have the staff insinuate you're some kind of criminal or thief. Mind you we are two grown adults, who have been to this location at least 100 times over the last 6 years and have never been asked to do such a thing, yet the employee said that's their policy. Other customers have purses etc but clearly we must be some sort of special threat to the business to have someone shouting out to us immediately after walking in that we must put away our personal belongings and out of our eyesights because we must just look that suspicious! We left. I'm not a thief, I don't appreciate the assumption that I am one by a place that's whole purpose is supposed to be for the greater good. We went down the road to both the goodwill and thrift giant and weren't bothered about my friend having a small backpack instead of purse. This place had already been going downhill in my opinion with the removal of its large book and media section but this was the first time I've ever had issue with the staff here. read more

I appreciate that I can drop off items without getting out of my vehicle. When I have taken them something fragile, they treat it with extra care. I realize it's no longer mine, because I gave it away, but I appreciate that care. Besides, they are maximizing the value for resale, which means more money for the programs supported by this charity. read more

They came to pick up my sofa and said it does not meet their inspection and they were willing to dospose of it if I paid them $80 cash and I did. As they procede to get the sofa out the door, they damaged my door trim. When I filed a complaint, they denied getting the $80 and denied picking up the sofa. If that is not a crooked organisation I don't know what is. read more

The last few times I've dropped off donations to various goodwill or salvation army locations, it's been very depressing. I've driven across town with nice quality but unwanted clothing and household goods and the experience ended up feeling pretty much like I was just throwing them, unwanted, into a dumpster. Not so here. The drop off location is well marked, clean, and easy to access. The fellow at the donation area was very friendly and helpful. He opened up 15 minutes early for me, and, despite a sign saying they weren't responsible for unloading, was more than willing to carry loads in. I was impressed with how large and how clean and neat the inside space was. I didn't go in the store, so can't comment on it. But if you've been looking for a donation site where you'd be putting gently used and cared for clothing to good use, I'd recommend going out of your way to come here. read more

Not sure what is wrong with this pickup location. I love to donate to Salvation Army, but I have scheduled the one here to pick up items from my parent's house several times and they just never show up, nor do they call to let us know they will not be coming. I have had my father wait all day at the house hoping they will come at some point. Such a poor witness!! Please be kind to people, and let them know you have no intention of coming by so they can make other arrangements and donate to another organization. read more

I was extremely impressed by how clean this store was but even better, it was set up and organized so well that it made the search easier and way faster! Well, I say that but in reality I spent almost three hours in there because every single item I looked at for the most part, I wanted to buy. It was one of those days that everything that you find actually fits and looks so good on! Oh and one other thing I loved, you know how a lot of clothing stores dressing room mirrors make you look extremely fat or just grotesque with the lighting? I don't know why but their dressing rooms make you look thinner ! I mean I looked really good in everything I tried on (which was a lot), which means more clothes for me and more sales for them -not to mention that it felt really nice standing a little taller due to a boost of higher self esteem! good management!! The manager has zero people skills treats customers as if they are slow . Yells at them on the floor and I think she needs a big piece of humble pie . There are many other thrifts within a stones throw of this store if business is so good than carry on with your lack of respect read more

The Good: - They have tons of clothing for men and women. - They have more large furniture pieces and these items seem to be of higher quality than the average thrift store. - There are dressing rooms available and they actually let you use them (until an hour prior to close, at least). - The store is clean and well organized - the clothing is sorted mostly by color and type. The Bad: - Less items in the shoes and bedding areas (I didn't see any jewelry and very few accessories, but I might have missed them). - Dressing rooms close at 7:00pm. - Clothing is not organized by size (one of my big pet peeves!). - The biggest issue I had with this store was the only interaction I had with "customer service," which began by watching an employee accuse someone of leaving without paying when I had just watched him check out. Prior to that, I saw the same woman telling him they were closed and he had to go check out, even though it was 7:45 (they close at 8:00). She then proceeded to tell me they were closed as well and to go to the front to check out (the other cashier that checked me out seemed very nice and professional, fwiw). I can understand wanting to go home on time, but I thought this was very rude to do to a customer. If your hours state you're open until a certain time, you should be open for the stated time or change your hours. The only other customer in the store was so offended by this employee's attitude and asking her to leave early, she walked out without purchasing any of the items she had planned on buying. Dear management: I kindly suggest addressing the unprofessional manner in which some employee(s) address your customers and please honor your stated opening and closing times. If this location does those two things, you guys would be one of the best thrift stores in the area. So close already! read more

I remember the Salvation Army stores as a place you could buy well maintained used items for a reasonable price. Not this store. Their prices are outrageously expensive for thrift store items. They are located next to a large mall and I am pretty sure you could find new items in the mall cheaper than at this "thrift" store. Shoppers stay clear of this location, there is no salvation here. read more
