Rude cashiers and everything is overpriced. A small plastic brandless cup was priced at $9. Unbelievable

The store is laid out pretty decently and they usually have a lot of things to look at. Not sure if…read morethey raise all the prices for Christmas or Trump put a tariff on them or people are just getting greedy in general but I was shocked My reason for leaving 3 stars is two stars is due to the absolutely freaking crazy prices. And one star because the people that take your donations are generally very helpful. Prices - It's like there's a tariff on everything and it's double the normal price. I'm not even exaggerating they had a paint roller brush tray set that home Depot normally sells for around $18 and it says on the label a $25 value $19.99 at the salvation army I don't care if it is still sealed or not. This is one example but many or most of the prices were outrageous. I figured because it's on a North part of Fresno, but then I went to the SA right off Ventura and 41 today and they have the same pricing structure. A used can opener was $20, brand new at Walmart only $24. The same day I was at the Blackstone salvation army I uturned to do the usual tour of the thrift stores. the first time I'd ever gone to the MCC thrift store. I didn't see much, until I got to the back and their prices are liquidation thrift store prices, fantastic prices! completely the opposite of the salvation army. Then I went to the Goodwill down the street and their prices were the normal Goodwill prices, some good some bad furniture very cheap at the Goodwill at the salvation army furniture was outrageous. I usually check out the closing down there but the prices on the household and other items were sold outrageous I didn't want to waste the time then or even today at the Ventura location.

It was so disappointing to see the nice things we really wanted to go to good use broken and dumped like trash. We had spent hours painstakingly wrapping them and boxing them so that they could get top dollar for them :(

Reclaimed Mt Goods is a…read moreconsignment store, which means that the items I their store and thoughtfully chosen to fit a trendy, vintage, spunky vibe. The clothes are often already laundered meaning you can wear immediately. As such, you will pay a premium to not have to sift through to find diamonds in the rough as you would as Good Will. Now onto the place, the space, and vibe. Their clothes, as I mentioned, are cute, unique, and a blast from the past for my 90s girlie heart. I saw logoed jeans today with Delia*s and immediately remembered "window" shopping their catalogue as a tween. I prefer more classic silohuettes and basic colors/patterns, which they have plenty of that too. There's also a fun collection of denim jackets, cowboy boots, and vintage housewares. It's so much fun to peruse as their inventory shifts quickly. Hot tip is to follow their Instagram for restocks and flash sales. The store feels more like a community, where the workers remember you and talk with you like you're friends from the start. They often host events like "Scrap & Yap" and swap days. I've seen that there is coffee served many days too. There are a few large tables and a couch for anyone to sit at, chat with friends, or enjoy a coffee/pastries from next door (also great!). Not only do I love their collection, I appreciate having another option for third spaces in during a time when it feels like there simply aren't enough!

So I have never been to their old Madera location, but now they are open in Fresno. I believe it's…read moreon Ashlan now. I went there over the weekend and it's super cute! You can find vintage clothing, and furniture, decor. They have dressing rooms which is great. So many thrift stores no longer have dressing rooms. I went for their clothing swap which was a success! I also bought the cutest purse from their store. The staff was very kind and welcoming. I will def go back!
