Like most Goodwills and donation centers, it's all about searching and digging and finding the needles in a haystack. I've only been here once and did leave empty handed but not without a few almost-take homes! I always start in the homegoods section because my closets are overflowing and I can never have too many tchotchkes, wall art, cute dishes, etc. They have rows and rows and rows any everything was incredibly reasonably priced. I think we have all been hearing about stores like this jacking up the prices for whatever reason, so I was thrilled to see they still have normally priced items. Shoes were by the plenty as well and I noticed some great brands like Madewell, Doc Martin, Call it Spring, etc. Unfortunatley nothing that I loved in a size 10 but I will be sure to return for check ins. I tried on a few mens blazers for that oversized look and even though I really liked a couple, opted out of getting them because the inside lining wasn't great. Again, at like $8/coat, it is really not a bad deal. I also found an Abercrombie oversized white button down with the tags still on but it was justttt a little too oversized at a XXL. Happy to have found another great thrift store to add to my list! read more

Must visit. I have been going here for a few years. Very nice clothing for men woman and children. There is also a nice selection of accessories, shoes, handbags and pictures. Overalls the clothing is in good shape or even new. Women sizes run from zero to 2x. I have donated several times to this location. Some donations are already dry clean. I would still dry clean/wash them to be on the safe side. I have visited a few goodwill and the boundbrook location is on the top of the list They just update the interior. Friendly staff. May sure you sign up for the rewards card. Prices overall are reasonable. The quality of some of the women's clothing is great. Put on your list to visit. read more

Location is too small and the merchandise is limited. We were looking for art and small pieces of furniture and came up empty.

There is a large selection of clothing. You just need to have the time to go through everything to find what you need. Pricing is decent.

I never knew how close the store was to the Habitat in Manville. Definitely a great spot. Parking lot is pretty busy, depending on when you go. They do sell mostly clothes here, but they have a very large selection of home goods. I shopped here a few weeks ago with one of my good friends. And I was impressed with the HomeGoods section. I was able to find some lovely vintage hobnail milk glass sets. They also had these lovely brass candlestick holders, but I passed on those since I have some already. Yes, it's true that some of their items tend to be a little pricey, but if you wait, it eventually goes on sale. On my last shopping trip I think I spent under 20 bucks. The staff here was really nice and one of the workers even helped me get a good deal on a set. Don't forget your reusable shopping totes and support your local Goodwill! read more

I've been to many Goodwill stores and this one is at the top of my list. They always have neat treasures and the staff has always been both very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely reccomend this Goodwill to any thrifters. My only hesitation for not giving a full 5 stars is due to the very large crates put out, often full of fragile dishware and glasses. This allows it to be impossible to look through, as you don't want to break anything delicate by looking through the bins. read more

The last several times I've gone there I've left empty handed. How do you price bread plates - not even a good brand, mind you, at $20? Their china prices are outrageous. No other goodwill prices like this. and I hope they don't start. The store is clean, and I've never had an issue with staff, but what's the point of a clean store and great staff if you can't buy anything because the prices are outrageously high? they need to double check the prices. It's a good store with good items, and sometimes you'll find good things for a good price, like every other thrift store. Walked out of this store with a good find more often than I did not, and it was a nice quiet non-overcrowded environment for shopping. A lot of the wares and kitchen items here are great for a good price, and I always manage to find some nice garment that fits! I don't come here often enough to find other items like tech or shoes that I need or are my style, but I'll always manage to find something small to satisfy my shopping needs! Management like Ms.Ashley is amazing and helpful in looking for where certain items are, or which items are on sale for the days with deals. Not quite sure what some of the other comments here are about, they're definitely pushing some sort of personal vendetta rather than providing a good insight on shopping. read more

I love this store so much! All of the staff and kind and considerate. The shop itself is clean and well lit. Excellent selection of women's clothing of all sizes. New merchandise comes in daily, I try to visit at least once a month (except end of August-September- kids are completing their back to school shopping). Nice collection of knickknacks, baskets, glassware, dishes, some electronics, books, purses and handbags. Definitely give this place a try it is one of the best thrift stores in the area! read more

Everything here is overpriced, and they have all these lucky cats (like the ones that wave at Chinese restaurants) in the display case but say they're not for sale. Why have them for display on the floor if you're not even selling them? It's very annoying. Other goodwills are much better than here. I'll start with this: i would give this place zero stars if i could. I came to shop here because I had a statewide 20% coupon for the fourth of July and the manager wouldn't honor it. After debating this for 10 minutes, I finally was like "just use my student discount then" and the lady was like "I need an ID". Because I just graduated hs and haven't gotten my college ID yet I didn't have one. I tried to explain this to her but she wouldn't listen. I even showed her my college email and she wouldn't give it to me. Basically, she didn't listen to anything I would tell her. I attached a picture of the coupon for proof. It was literally sent from goodwill itself. If this isn't bad enough, they mark up prices of used clothes. I came here with my friend once and she found a dress with tags and the original price of 7.99 and they were selling it for 9.99. The lady behind the counter whispered to her friend "we didn't take it off" basically admitting they mark up prices. THIS IS A GOODWILL, THE CLOTHES ARE SUPPOSE TO BE INEXPENSIVE!!! It literally makes me so upset because what if you have to shop here for cheap clothes but they instead mark everything up and gyp you. It's really upsetting. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. This goodwill is racist. I've come here so many times before and out of nowhere this dique manager comes out and rudely tells me how I'm not allowed to be in the store with my dog and makes a face when I start talking Spanish to my mother. I've been here with my dog all the time and they have never said anything to me before and all of a sudden they make an issue out of it. They weren't even nice about it. Completely rude. Manager sends a regular employee first who can't even form a sentence and doesn't even know how to talk so I'm asking him what and then manager comes and doesn't help the situation. Let me address an issue discussed in other reviews, i. e. the high prices. Some of the prices are high, some are not. Prices are discounted 40% after a few weeks, so I see no need to whine about prices. The workers are great. The store is clean. Overall, I'm happy with this store. read more

The 2 stars are strictly for the convenient location and the kind cashiers. However this is the most expensive lack of quality thrift store I've EVER been in. Not only is it extremely unorganized but most of the clothing is outdated ( not in a cool vintage way , but in a couldn't sell in an estate sale way ) Not to mention the largest collection of lint ball clothing . If there is no tag the managers make prices up as if they receive commission . Today I saw a thin , tangled , pink wig. Halloween has come & gone , there was no price on the wig. The managers exchange a few a words & tell me " 40$" I ask is the hair real ? Is it heat proof ? She replies well if you ordered one it would cost about that & that's the price that came on it's package . So even if an item is used , tattered , it will still be retail price ? She was rude , inconsiderate and just as poorly put together as the store. Even the costume jewelry that is rusted ? 8-10$ minimum. Do yourself a favor & avoid this location . I live on a very limited income and this goodwill store is the nicest one around, the employees are kind and helpful and very friendly. The store is very large so I do spend a lot of time shopping around the entire store. Every week there is a special color tagged item at half price. There are also certain times for senior citizens like myself to obtain a discount. I am fond of the round up purchases too because it makes me feel that I can help others out as well. So, I hate to do this, as this goodwill is nice and tidy and the service staff is amazing and incredibly friendly. I have been coming here for 3 years now. However, the reason for the 1 star is the egregious pricing. For example, I pulled a Calvin Klein dress from the rack, with new tags on it, that said $98. However, there was a Marshall's tag on it, you could make out "was $50.99" with the bottom part ripped off to the actual price. They received this garment for free, as a donation, but decided to place a $50 price tag on the thing. It even had stains all down the front. Unfortunately, this has become wayyyyyy to common at this specific location. I understand there is a business component, but come on. When you're better off buying things new than at a goodwill, you know something is off. Not too sure if it's the rent, or what, but, I find this practice to be pretty shiesty and deceptive for a business that claims to be good for the community. Used out of style shoes for $30, broken necklaces and bracelets for $10+ when it's just costume jewelry. I'll find a dress of decent quality generic brand and it'll have a $30 price tags for no reason!! A dress that clearly had a belt, they will take the belt and sell it separately...Someone needs to look into this. I can't believe they are able to sell these things. Who is buying them?!? I used to grin and bare it, they used to have two different colored tag sales, where it would be 50% off, now it's been reduced to one color and 40%. Again, just silly things. I still go just to kill time when I need to, but there are much fairer priced goodwills and thrift stores out there and, quite frankly, I think the management pricing these things out should really be ashamed of themselves. read more

Goodwill? What goodwill is there when they price things as if they're Bloomingdales! They get ALL their items FREE and then resell to people who need to buy second hand at prices that are higher than retail and higher than the donators can claim for tax purposes! I used to donate to them but after shopping there for curtains for my daughter's room, I will NEVER donate again! The cheapest curtain panel was $7; for ONE panel; for one, OLD, USED panel!! I enjoy browsing and buying from this interesting store. Employees are helpful and generally pleasant. I purchased many items, especially baby clothes that were like new and extremely inexpensive. The day I went in was yellow half price. The cashier seemed to be a manager. Three things I purchased she whispered to the other cashier because I guess the things I picked out should of been more. Then I had a T-shirt with tags and a yellow plastic tag which meant half off . She argued with me it wasn't, I guess it should of been more money. I said forget it I don't want it.
