I have been going to this good will for years and they recently stepped up there game, I came back after months of not going and was suprised how many great clothing items I could find. the racks were PACKED full of clothing, my friend and I (both from the younger demographic) found many items we just HAD to buy, items we refused to part with.

    Greatness awaits!

Let's start with the good stuff. This store is absolutely massive. And the carts? Chef's kiss. Smooth, solid, high-quality carts that roll like butter. Think Target carts, not the janky, squeaky chaos you usually get at thrift stores. I appreciated that more than I expected to. Prices were mostly average. Not amazing, not outrageous. Vans were around $14.99, which isn't great but also not the worst I've seen lately. Home goods weren't huge, but the section was decent and worth a look. I didn't find any jaw-dropping designer labels, but I did find some solid pieces for myself, so it wasn't a wasted trip. Bonus points because they were running orange tags at 75% off, which definitely helped soften the pricing sting. Would I come back? Yes, if I'm already in the area. Would I make a 45-minute drive just for this store again? Probably not. Overall, CommunityAid Temple is clean, well-organized, easy to shop, and way less stressful than a lot of thrift stores. Not a holy grail, but a solid stop that's worth checking out especially during tag sales.

The first service man was knowledgeable, but talked about threesomes and lesbians during the service call. The oil was over $4 per gallon, I finally shopped around and found someone 50% cheaper and professional. I was told my propane tank was unable to be filled, that I could buy or lease a new one from suburban. And that no one in the area would recertify the current tank. Not true, as I called around and had a 5 yr recertification done on the tank that I own. Their app was easy to use for payments and fuel requests.

They called my home and threatened to cut services each and every week during the COVID 19 shutdown. I tried to explain I was sick and that I couldn't work because of the virus and shutdown. It was also the only time I had been late with this bill. The credit manager Kathy proceeded to tell me she would cut off the gas as soon as the governor's protections were over. She then told staff to contact me with more threats - stating helping my family will only make it worst in coming months. She took this posture even though my bill never exceeded $350, as I made payments as soon as I received money. I requested payment plans, they chose not to work with me. The pandemic continues to impact the entire world. I truly get there will be individuals who have taken advantage of the help received. I am not one of them. I am a tax paying citizen, who has taken pride in the work I do. I value hard work and taking responsibility for my own. During a pandemic, everyone should work together. This company, office and credit manager Kathy are not good individuals serving their customers and the community. If you can avoid using this company, it would be wise.
