BUYER BEWARE !! I bought a walking pad on 11/4, took it home to realize it was sold without the power cord or the remote to use the pad. I went back on 11/10 ( I work a hybrid schedule so wasn't back in the area until then). I was told that I was not able to return the walking pad - one that requires an electric cord to plug into the wall & a remote to work it, because it was not considered an "electronic" and not a part of their return policy. The manager proceeded to be rude and get smart with me and asked me why I would purchase something when I didn't know if it had all of the parts, which I followed up and asked her why they would sell something on the floor without all of the parts to it. She responded with "that's how it gets donated." So are you going to 1 shoe instead of a match? Are you going to sell a movie without the DVD in it? They really tried to convince me that a walking pad, that needs electricity to work, and has motors, was not an electronic device because it was exercise equipment. I didn't buy dumbbells. Since they didn't want to give me a refund for my purchase, I left my receipt with the manager & went and "donated" the walking pad BACK to them. I can't use it. So if you see an Ancheer walking pad in the back, don't buy it. read more

Only Goodwill from Easton to Salisbury. This has the same quality as most of the Goodwills the prices are all the same the store was clean with friendly staff. Nice place to shop in the heart of Easton. read more

It took me a while to find the place, since Yelp gave me directions to the wrong location. First off with these places is that you have to crack the code on when they are having discounts for seniors, military, or specials. We were there on an off day which was a shame. This place has a ton of great clothes. My wife was in heaven because she found a ton of Under Armour stuff that the kids love. Only problem was that the prices are very high for a thrift store. That is why I recommend going there when there is a discount or sale available. So here is where I rant about Goodwill Industries. The prices have skyrocketed over the years, I see no employees with apparent disabilities, I see no ability to fix any of the donations, I neither see nor hear of 'goodwill' being created by the store or the corporation, and their CEO makes a ton of cash. I am starting to dislike patronizing Goodwill stores until they give me a better understanding of how they are helping the community. Regardless, they have lots of selections. Good items and it will take you a couple of hours to get through the store. Good for back to school shopping and dealing with growing kids. read more

Maybe the other person posted on the wrong Goodwill location because this place was amazing. One of the few Goodwills that have clothes sorted by size, very neat and organized plus many high end brands such as Talbots, Chico's, Coldwater Creek, beautiful formals and even several fur coats. I would not miss this place if I came to this town again. read more

I do not recommend this place. The manager that works there Was very rude and nasty because I came with a return. The service could be better and the quality of clothes you can buy some deals there but is not really a lot to get. The manager needs to adjust her attitude and work with people and not be nasty. This Goodwill is way more organized and affordable than the location in Annapolis. We happened to go on the last Saturday of the month, so all clothing items were 50% off. My husband and I both noticed that the prices at this Goodwill seem to be more consistent. Only two dressing rooms, though. read more

I hate to give this review- but this goodwill is pretty good! The prices can be a little higher on certain known name brands. But- a vintage Chloé dress for $13 can't be beat!! You'll find a ton of low rent chain brands with gems mixed in! Ralph Lauren, j. Crew, Trina Turk and even the occasional Burberry! Thankfully it is organized by size- not color like other GWs. This goodwill location is stellar! It is clean and organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. When you make donations two staff stand out!!! Easton Goodwill practices BADWILL!!!! They will deceive and hustle you so buyers beware! My son is a young entrepreneur who is honing his skills as a picker. He frequents thrift shops and consignment shops learning the art of the deal. Much to his surprise he found out the hard way how crooked Goodwill in Easton MD really is. Here are the details. My son who I will now refer to as "he" was looking through the jewelry case when he found a gold washed sterling silver bracelet. It was clearly marked 925 on the clasp which is sterling silver. The price tag was marked $250. He knew the bracelet was sterling and thought it was priced right for $2.50 so he bought it using his bank card because he hadn't gone to the bank yet to get out cash. I don't know if anyone reading this has picked up on some clues I have written as to the direction this story is heading but please read on. So a couple days earlier I was in Goodwill in Easton and was looking at jewelry and saw the same bracelet I had mentioned previously and I saw the price of $250 and asked the young lady working there why a sterling silver bracelet was priced for $250 because retail on it was probably in the $15 to $20 range. She didn't know and said she wasn't the one doing the pricing on jewelry. So flashback to a couple days later I was talking to my son and told him about the bracelet I had seen in Goodwill in Easton being marked $250 and how ridiculous it was and a minute later he came from his room and pulled a bracelet out of a bag and said to me you mean this bracelet? It was the same bracelet this story is about and I said yes and he said it was priced $2.50 and that is why he bought it knowing it was sterling silver and $2.50 was a fair price for him to pay and maybe resell it to make a couple bucks. I Told him I couldn't believe it because there was no period between the 2 and 5 and the lady working there said it was priced at $250. So about 15 minutes went by and my son came back into the room with a distraught look on his face and I asked him what's wrong? He had checked his bank account online and said Goodwill charged his account for $250 plus the tax for the bracelet he bought. I said I told you it was $250 and not $2.50. He found the receipt and saw it was $250. He thought for sure if he took it back to Goodwill and explained the situation they would refund his money. WRONG! They said there was nothing they could do and that all sales are final on jewelry. He even asked about getting an in store credit for $250 which he would wind up spending there anyway and that was also a big NO. He then contacted a high up person at Goodwill Corporate and explained what happened and also got nowhere with that. This is directly from Goodwill on their website. It is their mission statement. "Our Mission. Goodwill works to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work." I seriously think they missed the "Bar" according to this statement. I feel the whole organization is a fraud and needs to be exposed for what they really are. They take FREE donations and resell for profit which is perfectly fine to me but when you purposely try to deceive buyers, that is wrong. I feel they purposely priced this bracelet for $250 hoping to get someone who didn't know any better to buy it thinking it was a real gold bracelet because it was gold looking since it was gold washed sterling silver. Did my son make mistakes in this whole deal? Absolutely. He should have noticed no period between the 2 and 5. He should have asked about the price. He should have checked his receipt right away and he should have had cash to pay because then he would have found out right away it was $250 and not $2.50 but he is an honest person and assumed like we all would that the Goodwill store is honest in their pricing of items but as you can see they are not. The one good thing to this story is that he has learned a valuable life lesson which is good but also sad because the lesson is you can't trust people to be honest and do the right thing. read more

Goodwill in Easton is different than other goodwill's I have been in across the country, I find it rather expensive considering all the items they sell are donated. That's being said you still can find items to use maybe not so much to offer the reseller though hidden gem's are everywhere, I don't like so much that a lot of the items are marked with sharpe on the item sometimes is hard to get off and does make for a challenge to resell the stuff sometimes. To be honest most of the household items are stuff I saw at yard sales the weeks before that no one wanted and now it cost well a whole lot more than I could have bought it from the yard sale. Also this goodwill does very little negotiations which again is odd because they got the stuff for free and crap is getting dropped off everyday, take what you can get and call it good, I guarantee the store revenue will go up if you dicker. I don't go here often unless I am looking for some work clothes and will usually take advantage of the once a month discounts. I gave goodwill two stars one for the goodwill in talbot county and one star for other goodwill I have been in. Wish I could do better but I am not paying the same price for a donated item would rather give my money to Lowes or Walmart if that's the way it is. read more
