Super fun just walking along University Ave in the Hillcrest neighborhood to shop at this Goodwill. Though smaller than other Goodwill stores I've known, it has a decent selection especially of men's sweaters and ties. The changing rooms are finally open again which is super helpful. They have teacher, student, military, and senior discounts on top of their already reasonable thrift store prices. Items are organized by color and type like shortsleeved women's or men's shirts etc.

Good AC. Clean. Organized by size. Decent selection for a smaller store. They have fitting rooms too (the ones in LA don't!) Street parking all around though it can get busy since Hillcrest is a popular area but worth stopping in.

Amazing selection of clothing, shoes, accessories and home goods. Name brands and unique finds. This Goodwill is hands down the best Goodwill I have ever been to and the prices are very fair. Very nice color block displays at the from of the store with much much more in the back.

A true piece of art! I hesitated buying it, an elderly man picked it up and whisked it away. $49.49 ;() he had it plugged in..it worked!

This past year I told myself no more art as I have a lot. Although, I always continue to look in a lot of different places I always wanted a large piece of Frida's work. A woman with amazing artistic abilities, intelligence and Imagination. A woman that I would have likely gotten along well with. I'm so happy! Now, where am I going to put her LOL

I came to this Goodwill after getting my clothes repeatedly rejected from Buffalo Exchange. I walked in here very impressed by how clean and organized this store was. I came in to donate the clothes I couldn't sell and it was such a ridiculously difficult process just to give my clothes away. The lady at the register was about 135 years old and was very rude. I told her I wanted to donate 2 bags of clothes. It couldn't be as simple as that. She started to ask a bunch of questions. Do you need a receipt?! Are there any electronics in here?! Are you sure you want to donate these?! Are you sure you don't want a receipt?! Uh... just take the damn clothes and stop asking questions. It's people like me, giving you stuff to sell. Aside from George Washington's grandmother asking me 50 questions when I'm just trying to get rid of some clothes, the store was immaculate and super clean. I wouldn't mind buying some cool gems in here. 4/5 stars.

Service was fabulous! Guys were very helpful. Nice to have a place close by to take my treasures that I hope someone else can use.

Really good ambience for a Goodwill, a little boutique. Picked up a few nice home goods pieces. Pretty popular spot, crowds even on Sunday.

The team is so delightful, uplifting and the place is a total vibe. The owners engaged with each person on some level or another and were super friendly (not the fake kind). They knew so much about plants, and as a plant girlie myself, I was diggin' it. They are all about community and care about what they put out to sell. Honest Thrift has options for everyone. Trinkets, clothes, shoes, plants, music, art etc. The pricing is affordable and fair, and their plant selection is beautiful and properly priced for a boutique style premium selection of plants of very well maintained and cared for. Heck, what you save on buying clothes for $4, splurge on your plant. If I didn't have nearly 100 plants in my own house and own my own plant business, I'd get mine from here. Do know, I'll buy cutesy things for my home and gifts for others.

I stopped by this place as one of two places to drop off my unneeded clothes for donation, as I had…read moresought out alternatives that weren't Goodwill, given how utterly wasteful and awful the company truly is. Besides the fact that parking is a frank issue in this location, what with currently unenforceable requirements to pay for parking (either managed by the private lot or by the City), assuming this is also meant for people who are just stopping by to drop something off, this location is small but very quaint. It is very prone to being very crowded. However, the décor is a worthy sight for sore eyes: it truly is a lovely setup they have. I encountered a couple of lovely women who appeared to be running the shop, and inquired about how much clothing they're willing to take. It seems that they can only take a heavily limited amount of such, and I was able to drop off a kitchen trash bag's worth of clothes. I didn't complain, because I understand (at least mostly, since I fully realised and acknowledged it shortly after I left) the limited capacity they have to work with. The entire transaction was painless and easy. I do recommend stopping here for the reasons above, and to be reasonably wary of the environment you will be getting yourself into. I plan on coming here again if I ever have to donate anything in particular.
