We waited 20 minutes to drop off stuff to donate. The line wasn't even that long; Then when I entered, couldn't even see any of the employees they went and hid the back. No one talked to us. I have shopped consignment stores since my kids were little. Goodwill has great finds...until NOW! Unbelievable prices now that they a FOR PROFIT. My 25 y.o. daughter, 4'10", needed jeans. She found one pair. I found a few brand name items...a kids Polo sweater: 16.99$ I am disgusted with all Goodwills, but the lack of selection and the prices were ridiculous. One great clerk, one massively confused one. My money is not going to line another rich person's pockets. Time to move on. read more

Tried to donate a good used bicycle today. After waiting in line for almost 15 minutes I was told "we're not accepting bicycles" until spring. Their website didn't say this and there was no notice given on site so one could avoid wasting time in line. They seem to think their donors exist solely to serve them. I won't be donating anything to them in the future. read more

I came in here to shop for my little baby girl. We have been having troubles affording baby and toddler clothing. We came to find some for her. As I arrived, I walk inside to see a humanized toucan guarding the doors with attitude. She made numerous snarky comments to my wife about her outfit. It angered me. I then reported her to the next employee I found, in which they didn't care either. Her hair was COVERED in grease. No employee should be in this state. This behavior is completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. read more

If, like most of us, you prefer to try on clothing before you buy it, do NOT shop here. They have REMOVED the fitting rooms permanently, and you don't even have the option of buying a bunch of stuff and returning it because they DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. I had an entire basket full of clothing I was hoping to try on. When I looked around for a fitting room, an employee said they didn't have one. I dropped it in the middle of the store and walked out. I will never shop here again after this. There's no point. No wonder there was nobody in the store. I wouldn't be surprised if this puts them out of business. read more

Do not go here unless you have an hour to sit in your car! Took 10-15 minutes per car to unload. Unbelievable!!!!

I typically love going to the thrift store and have stopped by here many times hoping to snag something great but always walk away disappointed that I wasted my time. They seem to have room inside however they keep the aisles pretty tight so sometimes you have to throw an elbow just to get by. I don't know who is in charge of putting prices on stuff but often it is more than what i can find new at the store. Crazy! read more

Prices way too high and climbing. if you donate they try to cherry pick. You would be better off donating to Savers. I have gone there a lot and their business model is poor and getting worse. the corporate people think they are a retail store. They should also insist on personal hygiene upgrades for employees. it used to be a fun store. read more

This Goodwill is great! Plenty of great items to be had. The store is clean and shelves are very well organized. Their staff is extremely friendly! They were having a little group meeting while I was there so I could tell they really cared about their jobs. I've found good things whenever I've visited and I'll always go when I'm in the area. read more

What a bummer. I am an AVID goodwill shopper and this was the first store where I was refused a discount on a damaged item. :( I found a very cute skirt that was missing buttons and most were very loose, basically not wearable in that condition. I asked the cashier if I can get a discount and she called the manager which took about 5 minutes, which isn't that bad, although a line started to grow. The manager refused to discount the $10 skirt. For a skirt at goodwill, $10 is already pretty steep and she said that they "price accordingly". Honestly just really sad that I couldn't get that cute skirt. read more

This place makes you wish you never tried to donate anything, ever. I am moving in a few months, and so, am creating my piles - move, donate, and throw. Stuff that is still usable and in good shape, I have taken to Goodwill. I have had items turned away because they are "too dirty", to which I replied "wipe it off", leather ottomans that were not perfect but had no tears because they were not nice enough, and now today, I was told they would not accept a lamp because there were exposed wires. Mind you, the lamp was in two pieces so that it would fit in my car - when assembled, the wires are hidden within the stem. This is a floor lamp that I paid $600 for about a year ago. I do not want to move it because it is large. I cleaned it (because they simply don't have the time to wipe things off before they sell them at Goodwill), disassembled it, loaded it in my car and drove it 20 miles to Goodwill to give it to them, and they tell me they cannot accept it, because in a disassembled state, the wires were showing. Seriously people. If you make it harder for me to give you my stuff than it would be for me to sell it or move it, I am going to sell it or move it. Nor do I feel my efforts, or any other potential donors efforts, should be rewarded with a rebuke by a snotty intake person who looks at me as though I am committing a crime by wanting help to assemble and donate a lamp so that the "exposed wires" are no longer exposed. Because of one of these unpleasant experiences, I washed off two barely used bicycles that have been hanging in my garage for years. Instead of even trying Goodwill, I called the MN Recyclery, and talked to a delightful man who agreed to come pick up my donation. When he arrived at my house, he thanked me for my donation and said he was sure he could find grateful users for the bicycles. Compare and contrast, compare and contrast.... read more

Seriously the best goodwill around!!! So many of the items are new from Target. The used items are great quality too. The prices are similar to other goodwills. We went on a sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all and the lines went fast. I will defintely be back when im in town! read more

We donate lots of very good merchandise throughout the year, but now we find ourselves making numerous trips weekly, being we are getting ready to move. Today, September 6th, we headed to Stillwater again with another full van load. I had called earlier and spoke with a manager to see if they took outdoor water fountains. Stillwater said; yes, of course. We drove the 20 minutes there, but when we tried to unload the fountains, the dock person (male) said; "We don't take those". I told him I had spoken with his manager who told me over the phone, that yes you do. He said it was against policy. After a very heated discussion, we loaded the things my Grandson and I had already unloaded, and headed for the Woodbury store. THEY were excited to get the 2 fountains. I showed the gentlemen in the receiving area how they came apart for cleaning purposes. They gladly took all we had. One of the fellas said he remembered me from many drop-offs before and told me; "You always have great stuff, never any junk, so why didn't Stillwater take it"? Seriously, Stillwater, you get stuff for free and sell it for a few bucks cheaper than Target and you lie about taking something? I hope you choke on your lying tongue, Mr. Intake man. read more

This store is ridiculous expensive compared to other stores, like the one in Woodbury. Baggage priced 2X, never less than $15 no matter the size. Merchandise from Target priced even more expensive than the clearance price in Target, almost as regular (!). Just check this. Today they had a green garden umbrella priced with a yellow clearance tag from Target at $44 but they priced it at $80!!!! The manager is using this store as a profit center not a thrifty store. Why buying there.... read more
