I stopped by a few days ago to check out their new store. It's significantly bigger than Nana's Attic, which means it feels far less cramped. Yay! Still very good prices, the "yellow tag" items are consignment and generally higher priced than the store's donated stock. It about killed my soul to see an awesome vintage salt & pepper mixed in with newer dishes in a consignment lot. Aaah! Staff are great, the store is clean and bright. I'll definitely be back. Note: angled parking in front of the building is NOT free, Pontiac is a public street, and those are pay at kiosk metered spots.

I've been coming to this particular location since it opened approximately 20 years ago. I've mostly been a donator who always picks this location to bring my stuff because it's The closest Goodwill to a small city that is economically disadvantaged. The people of said city need only take a short bus ride to shop at this Goodwill that has many high quality clothing items because of its proximity to Swarthmore. The donation area is out back at a garage door and is usually staffed by one or two people.If donating try avoid a Saturday because it's a madhouse.Your best bet is to get here before 3 o'clock on a weekday because it gets busy there after.

I was on my way someplace else when I saw the big "OPEN" sign and, below it, "BAG SALE". Cool. The shop is located in an older building that looks like it might have been a small school? There's a nice sized lot and it's surrounded by a church graveyard. There's shop is on the second floor. They have an outside ramp and a chair lift for those who need it. Upstairs things are laid out well and marked. They have a decent selection- understand "bag sale" means they're clearing out stuff. I overheard the volunteers saying tomorrow was the last day then they would change over to spring items. They were saying things were picked over and I don't disagree. However, I still scored some nice clothes, a new pair of slippers, and a small handbag. Happy! Cash only, or personal checks. I'd stop there again, but wouldn't plan a trip there.
