Very large store with pleasant staff. Lots of clothing in all sizes, with excellent prices.

I have dropped alot of things off here in past. I can tell you ,I won't be back. This is the second time I had to deal with the nasty ,rude guys that work in back where you drop off the items. Last week I took a bunch of stuff there ,I was in line. Got out of my truck to only move the stuff towards the back of my truck ,so I could get it out when it was my turn. The Indian looking guy with long hair got smart with me and said next time wait your turn ,I said I am not even doing anything but moving things to back of my truck. He then grabs my things and throws it in the cart. I told him he was rude and I would not be coming back again. They need to train these people to rescept the customers. Like I said this isn't the first time this has happened. Don't waste your time coming here. There are tons of other places who are grateful and helpful that you are bringing items to them. read more

This Goodwill is completely overpriced. $7 each for pants or shorts that were used and then donated. I just bought shorts at ACTS yesterday for $2 each. I realize that it is for a good cause but they would make more for their cause if they would just price things more reasonably. read more

I shop at Goodwill for everything and have never had such an unpleasant experience. The man and woman working were extremely rude to myself and even more so to my friend who was with me. The woman was saying passive aggressive comments near us, about us, the entire time we were shopping, making us extremely uncomfortable. There were others in the store that they were kind to and then mean, not rude, simply mean, to us. For example, I was behind a couple checking out and the woman was ringing them up and gave the woman of the couple a pair of Uggs that didn't have a tag for a couple bucks while the shoes in the store had a set price. When it was my turn, she wouldn't even greet me and didn't give me or ask if I wanted a bag or my receipt nor tell me I had 7 days to make a return like she did the people in front of us. Now you probably assuming we were rude and deserved it but since we shop at goodwill for everything, we understand the importance of putting stuff back and that the job is probably not fun and due to that, we were very friendly. We both bought $30+ worth of goods each so it's not like we were wasting their time. When it was closing they only told us to leave personally and just announced it to everyone else on the intercom. She was loudly talking crap about us as she walked around the store too. We have no clue what warranted this from the moment we walked in besides them stereotyping 20 something year old women. I really only had one issue with these guys: they arrange the clothes by size, and then by color. But they're not too serious about it overall. I'm not a fan of that by-color thing. I'd rather see clothing divided by type so I can find what I want more rapidly. But having said that, this place had a lot of treasures to yield! I saw a bunch of Vera Bradley purses safe behind glass. I got a perfect sweatshirt, french terry and a gorgeous design. The dressing rooms were quite large, staff was kind and friendly. I do complain about the prices sometimes for stuff they receive for free but a lady behind me admonished me since she has placed their trainees in jobs and she explained their importance. I always walk out with something I can use in staging my listings and love the outlet stores in Rosedale and Carroll Island. In Rosedale they weigh your stuff! My fave store is Jacksonville. If you donate don't forget to get a receipt which has a coupon for your next purchase and Wednesday is senior day. Love my senior discounts!! read more

I like checking in every once and a while and see what they have that I can't live without. You can't beat $1 for LP records and the book selection always has something. I have always had a good experience whether I'm donating or buying. read more

Worst Goodwill I have ever stepped foot in. The selection is sparse and the prices are outrageous. I got excited when I found some sperry's. These were old and beat up and they had a $30 price tag on them! If you find Vera Bradley they will always be priced $30 and above, which you can buy new ones on sale for that. They are constantly selling fakes of designer brands which is illegal. Target donates their clearance items that have not sold and sometimes they don't bother to take the clearance target tags off and you see they are pricing higher than what target has clearanced the items out for. Most of the stuff they have is junk, anything worth buying is way over priced. I look for toys at GW and the selection is dismal. They have hardly anything in the toy section and I know people donate more toys than they ever put out. They sell all the toys in big bags so you can't even tell what's in there. Everything is again overpriced. I used to be able to get a big bag of stuffed animals for the dog for $2. The prices just keep going higher and higher and you can't find anything for under $5. It's horrible trying to look through the toys because they are all up high thrown on top of the clothes racks. I would really like to see a more organized and more easily accessible toy section. Seriously don't waste your time at this GW location. Hit up the clearance aisles at any other store in town, you will get better prices there. read more
