They get clearance merchandise that never sold from places like target and Kohl's. They obviously get a lot of junk from Amazon pallets too. The store is massive but a ton of the racks are the same exact 30 pairs of jeans priced at $20 so don't expect an incredible selection just based off the square footage of the building. Beyond that, a LOT of the donated clothing they choose to put out is very heavily worn with very obvious flaws such as massive tears, bleach stains, and fast fashion that is literally falling apart and needs to be in the trash. Yet they'll still put a $10 price tag on a pair of jeans with a huge hole in the crotch. The prices are much higher than other chain thrift stores around it, and the quality is awful. Beyond the actual merchandise, the store is depressing. I used the restroom and there was no toilet paper in ANY stall in both the women's AND men's bathrooms! Not a single one. And no paper towels! How is that possible? The floors are dirty, the people who work there are not friendly, and the donation process is "park outside with your flashers on and hope someone actually comes out to assist you". The employees didn't really take notice of us which I guess isn't bad. It's a thrift shop not a salon.

My eldest son is a big fan of Goodwill, and I think half of his wardrobe came from Goodwill. It's a clean store, well organized and from what I can see, the quality of the merchandise is very good. Considering where we live, we live next to some high-income areas and that is reflected in the goods being offered. Looking to stretch your budget, this might be a good place to start.

He's also changed sale hours - day of - closing early because he felt like it. He does not make people feel welcome to shop there - it's like we're bothering him to be in the store. Also, the pricing has gotten really bad - it's frequently at or above retail now, which is so sad since this stuff is always clearly used and *given/donated* to the store, but they grossly overprice it. Case in point: A used coffee grinder for $24.99 when it's new for $18.95 on Amazon or $19.98 at Walmart. The clothes have been really stained, hole-filled, torn and ripped lately. I really hate how bad the store is these days... I went in recently and they were selling a side table that was missing two legs, but still had it priced at $39.99. It just makes me so sad since this used to be my favorite thrift store in the area, and it's awful now.

They have great items - they are just way too expensive for a vintage piece. That said if I was looking for something specific and they had it I would pay the price. Their customer service is good. I liked that they didn't hover rather waited to ask if we needed help. That said, two of the three were on their phone behind the counter not paying attention to anything. Went yesterday and they had sold out of the color she wanted. Suggested she try the Mooresville location. She called and they had what she wanted. Went by today after Church and a first time visit and picked up not one but two. Nice store but sandwiched in-between a Hobby Lobby and Buffalo Wild Wings so easy to miss. Don't miss. They have a lot of things in a small space and at good prices. The metal flower that my wife wanted ended up costing $4.99 so she bought two.

I returned the sneakers but I was unaware of the return policy which had changed about a year ago as per the cashier. I only got back $ 68 but had spent over $85 for them. Thought that by speaking with the manager I might do better but it was to no avail even though I told him I had been a longtime loyal customer. I called their Customer Care center but they couldn't help me either. I wrote to their corporate offices and they didn't even bother to respond to my letter. I will no longer do any shopping at Kohl's especially after having my concerns dismissed by their store manager in Huntersville and the failure of corporate to respond to my letter.
