Lots of cool stuff. Customer service was decent. Picked up some good items on a thrift hop. Will be returning

Absolutely not worth your time, especially if you're driving any distance to visit. The store feels…read moremostly like a discount/outlet store that also sells some donated items they receive. They get clearance merchandise that never sold from places like target and Kohl's. They obviously get a lot of junk from Amazon pallets too. The store is massive but a ton of the racks are the same exact 30 pairs of jeans priced at $20 so don't expect an incredible selection just based off the square footage of the building. Beyond that, a LOT of the donated clothing they choose to put out is very heavily worn with very obvious flaws such as massive tears, bleach stains, and fast fashion that is literally falling apart and needs to be in the trash. Yet they'll still put a $10 price tag on a pair of jeans with a huge hole in the crotch. The prices are much higher than other chain thrift stores around it, and the quality is awful. Beyond the actual merchandise, the store is depressing. I used the restroom and there was no toilet paper in ANY stall in both the women's AND men's bathrooms! Not a single one. And no paper towels! How is that possible? The floors are dirty, the people who work there are not friendly, and the donation process is "park outside with your flashers on and hope someone actually comes out to assist you". Do not waste your time.

Overall not too impressed with their items. This was a mix of Ross/Michaels with a thrift shop…read more Strange to see food with used items but good for people who cannot afford much. I probably would check expiration dates. There was a ton of clothes. Unfortunately I was not looking for clothes but looking for pottery and mugs. Their prices were about average but for some of the knickknack stuff it was a hit or miss. Good selection of clothes, ok selection for blankets and not too much household stuff. The employees didn't really take notice of us which I guess isn't bad. It's a thrift shop not a salon.

There's been a lot of talk about Trosa Thrift store around town lately. I've seen it all over…read moresocial media so a friend and I decided to check it out on a Friday afternoon. Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.

Big plus--they're open until 9PM, which is perfect for a little late-night retail therapy. No big welcome when we walked in, but the staff seemed focused on their tasks, so it didn't really bother me. The store was clean, organized, and easy to browse. My husband actually found more than I did--men's section was solid. The women's section had variety, but the plus-size options were disappointing. Label sign said XXL, but I didn't find anything truly above an XL. As a reseller, I appreciated the selection and price point overall, though prices were on the higher side--pretty aligned with what most thrift stores are charging these days. Shoes were the highlight--nice display with LOTS of trendy styles, including Dr. Martens and platform options. I only found one pair of blk/rainbow Cortez looking platforms in my size 10 size, which the old raver in me really wanted but the SAHM in me had to pass. The bag selection was small, limited to a single basket-style display. They had a mix of sunglasses too--some out and some in a case. Accessories were mid, and the phone cases were for random phone models I didn't recognize. I chatted with one of the employees who was super helpful and explained the selling process--no appointment needed, just drop in with your items. He also mentioned they're NOT looking for formalwear, which makes sense because the store leans more grunge, retro, punk, and pop culture vibes. I will say, this store leans towards one of the best Plato's stores I've been to compared to some in Cali that were just a complete wast of time. Thinking about bringing in a few pieces to sell--curious to see how that goes. Will definitely update after!

The clothes are great, super big choice of clothes. The problem is the employees, I have never felt…read moreso unwanted in a store ever. The employees treat you like you are bothering them and don't say hi or bye when coming in or leaving. Every single time I've been in I've been judgmentally stared at and like I said treated like I was an annoyance just for being in the store. Jm not sure if it's the management that just makes everyone there miserable or what it is but I'm surprised they haven't done anything about it yet. Not to mention last time I went in it REEKED of weed. Would not recommend coming to anyone unless you need to find something for an occasion because you will be treated like gum on the bottom of the employees shoe!
