I went to goodwill in Salem NH with a small box of donations. The drop off pull-up was full, so 8 parked in a spot, took a small box out, and was told I had to drive up. SERIOUSLY? I just left, went to the salvation army, brought the box to the top off door, and they were happy to get it. I'll donate there from now on. No wonder goodwill ratings are so low. read more

God forbid you drop something on the floor and don't immediately pick it up, an employee will aggressively get in your face, literally. Both my friend and I were made very uncomfortable by the same employee walking around talking to herself about how awful customers are. Find another job, you clearly hate this one. read more

So I have been a trift store shopper at GW now for years, both at this location and others in the area. In the past several years, things have changed. Yes the prices have gone up, like most places but some priced items are just laughable. THey have cut back too on other things like no bags, cut the discount for veterans and more. THey also on some items cut out the barcode so buyers can not scan the item to see what the value is on comps on the internet. Also even just trying to donate items is a hassle. The staff can be surley and unfriendly and also picky as to what they take, even if it allowable per their online donating policy. I stopped donating here and now donate to other local charity shops (like Marion Gerish in Derry). Only just rare occasions I can find something here that I can use that is a good value. Also outside in the parking area is alot of trash which is not welcoming and not a good impression. read more

TRASH!! Id give it zero stars if I could but -the App will only let you give one minimum! Prices through the roof!! 36 for a used jacket $28 for used shoes. I'm not talking high-end brands either. They have a pair of NO BO Walmart shoes marked $28. A pilled Columbia jacket, $36. there's very little here under $10. Don't bother -they should close it up. It's WAAAY too expensive. Awful! they are 100% profit and mark everything up so high. Most of the good stuff goes online. This store is filled with garbage! This place is a rip off. They overcharged me and were rude. Not welcoming at all. But hey, it is a goodwill. I'm not the one working there.

Clean and generally well organized thrift store. The men's section is quite small, and I wish they put out more men's clothing. The biggest downfall is the high pricing. The books are marked up higher than Amazon, and clothing considered a "good brand" is usually double the price. For example, men's shorts are usually $6.00, but I've seen Tommy Hilfiger for $15.00 just for the brand name. I would love to see more consistent and affordable prices. read more
