I purchased a pair of jeans only about a week ago. There was no where to try them on of course but according to the size I should have been able to fit them. I got them home and could not even get them up past my thighs. So I tried to take them back to the Goodwill store and they refused to allow me to return them for only a store credit because I didn't have the receipt. The tags were still intact. I had never taken them off but because I didn't have the receipt, they would not let me return them. Therefore, I'm stuck with a pair of jeans that I can't wear. How is it that the jeans are obviously miss sized and you don't have a place for customer to try anything on but you don't make allowances for when items don't fit? Where is the good will in that? Needless to say, I will not be returning to this particular Goodwill store! I advise everyone to choose another Goodwill store with a more customer friendly return policy. I believe this store could have been more understanding, especially since customers can't try anything on!!! read more

Just left this place (3pm) and let me tell you the people who work there including management don't give a damn about nothing. The customer service is 90% TRASH! I went here (1pm) because I have a bunch of loose photos I wanted to put in some albums and in the past I've gotten good deals on them at goodwill. My daughters went with me because they like thrifting for vintage clothes. Be that as it may we're in there and my girls end up shopping for about 2hrs. We go to the register I had about 3 photo albums, 3 wall pictures and some other odds and ends. My daughters had about 10 items between them. So I had about $125 worth of stuff if not more. I tell the girl working (late 20's early 30's African American with pink and blue ombre wig and face glitter) 2 of the albums don't have tags as she was ringing up our stuff. She tells me I have to go to the back to get a price for them. I go back there unsure of what to do because, this is a weird new policy since the last time I've been. I didn't know if I need to go in there or what. So I go to the door wait and nobody comes. My oldest calls me and says there's a manager up there. So I go up to ask her (African American woman about 70yrs old with a long headband wig on). She's standing there at the register with it open while playing on her phone. I say excuse me but I'm trying to get a price on these two photo albums I have one in my hand that's marked but these two aren't and I don't want to hold up the line because nobody is answering the door. She says yeah you have to get the price back there the line will be ok. So I'm thinking to myself seriously, but I want the stuff and my girls want their finds. I go back there and as I'm walking I see a guy (tall slender African American man about late 50's) who works there walking to go in the doors she told me to knock on. I said excuse me but can you please help me I'm trying to get a price on these two albums and I knocked but no one came. He said you have to knock on the door and proceeded to just walk in there. No ok I'll let someone know you're out here or nothing. So I'm still standing there and now a female employee (short 4'11 racially ambiguous maybe Asian/latina shoulder length blunt hair cut 40's or 50's ) walks by to go in there. No can I help you, is anyone helping you NOTHING! Then another employee ( tall brown skin woman who looked in her 50's wearing an apron pushing a cart) walks out and she sees me standing there. Again NOTHING! No can I help you, I'll be right with you or even a hello. By this point I'm over it. So I walk back up to the counter manager still standing there and I tell her and the cashier nobody is helping me so I guess we won't be getting any of this stuff. I walked back there and 3 people passed me by not willing to help or get me help as I'm knocking. It shouldn't be this difficult to make a purchase. The end result with management at the counter was we left everything right there. I'm not going to beg anyone to let me buy something in their store! So our time was wasted basically shopping for nothing because no one wanted to do their job and help us. Pure laziness! End result I'll spend my money elsewhere and now they can work twice as hard to price it anyway but also waste company time putting everything else that could have been sold back where it goes. I in good conscience no matter how much we wanted this stuff, simply can't see spending my money to get anything when management nor the employees want to help you. At the point of me coming back the final time again because nobody would help me the manager could have even told the cashier to just give the albums to me for the price of the one that had a tag. They held about the same amount of picture space. However since it's not hurting her pockets loosing $125 for something that would have totaled no more than about $8 doesn't matter to her. She obviously also doesn't care about customer service either because as management you should never let this happen. Call back there, go back there but show some concern and get your customer some help. Whoever runs this location needs to seriously crack down on this place. Because not only is the customer service poor you can hear things getting thrown, dropped and broken left and right. You hear people screaming back there watch out while stuff is crashing and all types of craziness. If you're going to go to any of the goodwills in the area by pass this one and go to the one in Mount Laurel because they are friendly and neater. The only positive thing I can say is there was a casher on duty when we first got there and I've encountered her before. SHE (African American light brown skin 50's) is constantly pleasant and friendly with everyone. She's very professional and knows how to treat customers. May she be blessed with a promotion. read more

On my New Jersey adventure, I stumbled across this Goodwill while driving up 130. The parking lot was only about 1/2 full, so I figured I'd check it out. The store is a decent size but could be hit or miss depending on what you're looking for. Their jean selection was brimming with options, but the dress section was very sparse, although I did manage to find a vintage-esque dress for $7.99. The book collection is hidden in the back corner and are all individually priced, although I really didn't see anything worth grabbing. When all was said and done, I found a dress, a cool feathered ceramic mask, and a paperback book for $12.00. Called to find out it if they would accept a large wall mirror. Store said yes. Now it is a very large mirror but my wife was able to help me carry it to my truck. Went to the Willingboro store and the guy at receiving said we don't accept mirrors unless they are complete without even looking at it. I said it is complete its a wall mirror. I think the guy at receiving just did not want to help carry it. Went to Bordentown Goodwill and they carted it away and thanked me. I will never donate to the Willingboro Goodwill again. read more

This Goodwill seems to have a lot more books than the others in the area, and they're moderately priced. Every time I go, there's a couple of teams of people sorting through the shelves. One guy picks up the "interesting" books,and the other guy's using his cell phone to see how they're selling on ebay. Nice. Get the hell out of the way at least, eh? CONS: They're a litle sparse on the housewares/kitchen crap. Never any dolls, and very few toys. Someone has had an accident in the ladies' clothing area. I avoid this area totally, and yet, the odor chases me around the store. I get the books. I hurry to the register. I pays. I leaves quickly. read more

Personally, I am stoked on this place. On my first and only trip so far, it took two seconds to drop off 2 garbage bags worth of stuff for donation in the back. The parking lot is a little dicey when ignorant drivers are present. This Good Will is fairly large with lots of clothes. It's relatively clean and seems to be really well organized. Inside, I headed straight for the men's section on a quest to find the perfect flannel shirt to give myself as a birthday gift. The commercial industry monster-- the neo-hipster --has inspired many a warped representation of flannel. Back the eff off grungy comfy 90s wear. Gathering and smart cuffs and less fabric DO NOT equate to a fabulous reinterpretation of flannel. They make people wearing them look like dumb sheep. I should cut this diatribe short and stick to the pt. It can be hard to find a good flannel shirt these days, so used ones are anyone's best bet. The essence of cool in Good Will purchases is the low price. That flannel cost me $2, I wear it a lot, it's really comfy, and in addition I found a sweet vest brand new (surprisingly from H&M) to wear at my new job for $5. Happy birthday to me! read more

I find the best bargains here every visit. They are fairly clean and not cluttered like some other locations. The parking lot isn't the greatest but the selection inside is what counts. I have shopped at this Goodwill since the late nineties, and it is a charmer. I was here about a month ago, and I can gladly report that it is still a great place. Not too big and not too small. Busy, but somehow does not seem crowded. Books, DVDs, and videos have now been moved to the front, and there are less books now. Records are right next to them. Boutique stuff is right there, too. Lots of shoes and purses to choose from. Tons of clothing for a smaller 'will. Clothing is arranged by color, which saves time if you know that you look pretty in pink, but psychopathic in cerulean. Was able to find a shirt I had put back on my first foray during a second foray. Saw expensive brands, but forgot what "Uniglo" and "Ruum" were until later. Had two pairs of brand-new, still-with-tags "Abercrombie" pants that my daughter refused. Price on them was $3.00 each. Yep, $3.00- no joke. Got "Mini Boden" for my inner snob. Knick-knacks are arranged better than Carolina 'wills, but still a bit messy. One row is hard to traverse and peruse because of people using it for basic perambulation (it leads to toys, bathroom, and the employees' office). Toys are neatly arranged at the back until unruly kids get there. They do police your kids. One lady acted like her kids were saints when an employee asked them to chill...just a note. They did tape up a game that I had seen on the ground with the pieces strewn about, so they do care about messes. Christmas stuff is near toys. I found a beautiful Target ornament, but priced too high at $5.00. We found brand-new Barbie ornaments, but on the shelf with regular stuff. They were at a great price! Also saw and had a brand-new "Chia Pet"! I put it back because of lack of interest on my kid's part. There are dressing rooms- four of them. You can return stuff only for credit- no cash back, hence my second trip there due to my picky daughter refusing beautiful clothing. The manager is nice, and so are all the other employees. I am not sure if they still have the rewards card program ("Twelfth visit gets you 10% off!"), so ask. This Goodwill has my heart. Note: I use quotations on lesser known brand names. Update on 9/13/16: I found out that this Goodwill does NOT accept returns. However, they have great sales. Certain tags on Sunday are majorly off, so some clothing will only be a buck. Update on 2/12/18: Removed one star. Store was in shambles. Clothes are no longer arranged by color nor even by size. This GW has lost its magic. read more

I found the best 1960-styledish side tables and I am in love with them! I paid $10 per, but with student discount came out to about $17 total. So happy and so in love with this place. I find little knick knacks like for the bathroom to give it a more "expensive" look and if I were thinner I'd definitely be able to wear their clothes.
