If I could give this store negative stars I would. It is an absolute bullsh*t store. My friend worked there for a few years.Several employees are fantastic. Others, nope. Namely the managers. The store manager is a dick. Treats his employees with zero respect unless you're on his favorites list. He bullies and picks on everyone else. Let's his favs do whatever they want or don't want to do. Even if it means harassing other employees and he doesnt do jack about it. Lies to your face. Whether a customer or his own associates, then completely denies it later. Retaliates against good associates. I have seen it. Controls everyone he can within the walls of the establishment. Denies promotions, refuses to allow employees to move up and out of the building, even if it's still in the company. No matter how many times they went to corporate and filed complaints, the higher ups did absolutely NOTHING. The turnover rate is so high because of him!! But the district managers and all them only care about their pockets not the mental health of their employees. If they did care he wouldn't be there anymore. Don't let your kid work here please. He will puush them and basically yell at them for going to slow, ON THEIR FIRST DAY. I'm not sure how that creature even became a manager. read more

Best thrift store in Tucson. clean, organized, slightly pricy but the quality of merchandise is better.The staff does a great job of cleaning and organizing which is no easy feat with the amount of traffic this store gets. The drop off is usually seamless, although some employees are better than others in this area. Sometimes I get help unloading sometimes not....But the treasures inside compensate. read more

I'm so happy they finally opened their dressing rooms. This GoodWill is the best in Arizona. Super friendly employees, huge shout out to David for going out of his way to find a missing match to a shoe I really wanted. They constantly announce the special for the day. You can also get a 20% coupon if you join their mailing list. I hope they bring back the jewelry counter soon. Although they don't require masks anymore, I appreciate how well they stayed up on regulations. We have a large elderly population in this neighborhood. read more

This is a fancy, nice-neighborhood Goodwill. The dressing rooms are particularly posh, with their cherry-stained doors and brushed chrome knobs. The book section is more reminiscent of a Barnes than a thrift. Ambiance is nice, but in the end, we come for the finds, and this Goodwill delivers. My daughter & I consider ourselves thrifting connoisseurs, and this location is worth visiting. There seems to be a greater quantity of name-brand inventory (if you're into that) and the shoes are particularly appealing -- an often rejected category of thrift store find. The furniture and framed prints are also worth a look. On the down-side, the chachkies are over-priced (way over-priced) and check-out is s-l-o-w. This is my favorite Goodwill in Tucson. I thrift shop almost every weekend, and I feel like this particular Goodwill has the highest quality of merchandise without bumping up the prices the way some other Goodwills do. It is also one of the more organized Goodwills in Tucson. There are usually carts available and clear isles to roll down. My friend and I came over to this part of town to have lunch at the new Lindy's and do some thrifting on 50% off day. I had no idea there was a Goodwill here, so it worked out perfectly. This may be my favorite Goodwill in town. And this is after my FIRST VISIT. And on the same day as the 50% sale to boot. The selection, even picked over in the late afternoon, was pretty good. Some very helpful person had left empty CD cases on top of the shelves (to whoever they are, let me say you are the real MVP because I would have bought all of those without checking.) But even with the empty cases, there was still some good stuff. I got "Left of The Middle" by Natalie Imbruglia and "Relish" by Joan Osborne. (I graduated in '97. This is the soundtrack of my teen years.) The book selection is HUGE! I was so excited to find plenty of stuff I was interested in reading - including a nearly new copy of one of my favorite books of the past few years, "The Interestings" by Meg Wolitzer. But most importantly, I found a book I've wanted for years - "Anne Sexton: A Self Portrait In Letters". I don't see myself going back to this Goodwill on a regular basis as there is one very close to where I live, but I highly recommend checking this one out if you're in the area. First id like to say you guys dont even deserve ONE SINGULAR STAR, but i have to in order for me to put this out there. Recently my dearest friend and i purchased a shelf from this store. A beautiful vintage gorgeous shelf. Sadly the shelf did not fit in my car. They told us we could go back the next day and pick it up. Long story short we had multiple complications with the truck driver we hired. My friend went in to this goodwill asking if they could hold it for a little while longer. They agreed. Today my friend went to goodwill to get the shelf, and guess what.... THEY THREW IT AWAY. WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THING THEY ARE TO THEOW THIS OKE OF A KIND SHELF AWAY and it gets worse my friend then asked for a refund AND THEY DENIED HIM giving a customer their money back for their purchase is so simple an orangutan could have figured it out. Like, literally, a circus ape of moderate intelligence could have looked at the recipt, and then given my friend his money back. BUT NO. NO REFUND AND NO SHELF. goodwill just know you just lost two of your most loyal customers and our millions of fans!!! read more

I was more than a little disappointed after reading the reviews and driving down to this store. Maybe I am more used to some of the huge Goodwills in Phoenix that are quite organized. Of course I have gone to the Goodwills in Flagstaff where you have to dig in those huge barrel carts to find anything. I like the setup of this particular Goodwill quite a bit * immediately to your right is the book section. There are plenty of interesting books to choose from that are relatively organised. * to your left are the fitting rooms that have a good amount of space to work with. The doors lock every time you close them, so be careful with that. * in the centre there are the checkout booths with some stands where you can buy candy and knick-knacks * the rest of the store is obviously clothing and home goods. I didn't spend a whole lot of time searching (I got caught up in the books), however there were some sweet shirt finds. * the people working here make it worth 3-stars; they are extremely funny as well as helpful. They truly try to make the best of their jobs and it is much appreciated for the overall thrifting experience! read more

Nice clean store but the prices for home decor and electronics are ridiculously high.Used lamps that are 10 dollars new are often priced close to 20 dollars.Clothes are also priced way too high. Its a good place to find art work. For some reason they price art items reasonably. read more

Clean and odorless! I found some wonderful books (a set of Harvard books that retail for about $300 at $3.99 each, Lemony Snickets A Series of Unfortunate Events, hardback at $2.99 each), beautiful shoes (Steve Madden wedges, new, $9.99 and Coach flats $29.99), a beautiful grey wool cloche hat, Calvin Klein and Leroy Jenkins (its a World of Warcraft thing) shirts for one of the boys and Anne Taylor Loft jeans ($6.99) for me. They have an AMAZING housewares selection and golf clubs. read more

This is a brand spankin' new Goodwill and boy is it nice. Super clean, the people working there are super friendly and they have a large collection of clothing. Everything is really well organized and they have a separate door to pull up and drop off donations. Definitely the nicest Goodwill I've shopped in before.....They do have a senior discount day which I *think* is Tuesday..but call to check. Don't forget to ask what color the 'tag of the day' is, it's an extra 50%. read more

So happy this store is on my side of town ~ I can do a cleaning of my house and sorting of outgrown kids books, toys and shoes and pull up and away they go onto to someone else. I love what Goodwill provides to our community and I try to remember to pack up all my things for donation and bring them here. read more

This Goodwill has the most expensive prices of any other Goodwill in town (from what I can tell). However, this store wins in the cleanliness department. Somewhere between Meh and Ok; there's great potential but this Goodwill just doesn't deliver. It's large, clean, well-organized, and seems to have a decent turnover. But the prices are jacked up, and even after a dozen or so visits--it's on my way home--I haven't found anything worth buying. It's an odd store. read more

this has got to be the nicest good will in town, its so clean and organized and open. i love coming here to see what tresures i can find and since i live in walking distance its also nice to get some fresh air on the way. the people who work here are really nice and they have a decent selection of everything. gee now just writng this review makes me want to go and see what i can find today because i never leave empty handed. read more

I have been thrift shopping in Tucson for many years. I have been coming to this store since it opened. Cream of the crop, top of the line, worth the drive? I wouldn't describe this store with these phrases. Just the opposite. I agree with another person's view-it is the highest priced Goodwill that I have ever been in. I just went to their 50% off sale. They doubled their prices on just about everything before their doors even opened. I will give it a A+ on clean. I won't be back. read more

This is a convenient place to drop off items for goodwill, with two dedicated parking spots and an air hose that (in theory but not so much in practice) brings someone out to unload your car. As far as buying things...it's a little more spacious than most goodwill stores, but otherwise pretty run of the mill. read more
