This is an unusual 'Outlet Center' even for a Goodwill. The store is unlike any other second hand store in that this location strictly seems to deal with clothing -only, on large tables. It seems to be a hit because April/2022, it was jam packed FULL of people digging through thousands of pounds of piles of clothes. We are in the process of moving from midtown to five minutes away from this Goodwill. I told DH we had everything I need nearby - Dutch Bros, KFC, Brake Masters, Fry's, but most importantly, a Goodwill. The other day, I had a wardrobe emergency after spilling sticky hot coffee all over myself. This is not the first time Goodwill has saved me during one of these situations. (The first also involved coffee, but the Goodwill that time was on 22nd and Kolb.) I'm not going to lie, it is really overwhelming to go in and see bins everywhere. I just followed everyone's lead and started looking for what I was after. I'm a zaftig gal, so for me to find clothes that fit here was a *little* trickier than it would be for someone else. But I said to hell with it, threw caution to the wind, and started rummaging through those bins like I had an idea as to what I was doing. Eventually I found a pair of pinstriped "business shorts", if that's a real thing that exists. I feel like I should be driving a train because the pattern looks like an engineer's cap. I love them so much. I also was able to pick up a cover for our futon, a beautiful openwork crocheted blanket (I'm going to tell people I made it myself if they ask), a neat green pillow our little dog likes to sunbathe on,and a table runner that's going to look just beautiful during our first Thanksgiving in our brand new house. I also accidentally ended up with a training bra (it got caught up in the blanket and I didn't realize it was there until I got home). So, while this isn't an experience everyone will enjoy, if you have some time and patience, you can find some really cool things. Just like my super cool engineer business shorts. ;) read more

Just had my first experience at the Goodwill Outlet Center on Irvington and Campbell. I had no idea what to expect-- it's quite different from traditional thrift store shopping. Purchases are weighed and you pay according to the weight. Different rates apply to clothes versus glassware, etc... essentially, it's a huge room with gigantic rolling bins. They are shallow bins, so you don't have to bend much to see the bottom. The bins are not organized except the basic separation of clothes from glassware from everything else. I stuck in the glassware section and picked up two decanters for a gift project I'm working on for $1.10. I also stumbled across a bag of wooden pant hangers. I had just put this kind is wooden pant hanger in my amazon cart-10 for $9.99. I got a whole bag of them for $0.50. Total purchase was $1.60. The bins are almost overwhelming to look at, but the other shoppers were friendly and there is even some kind of system they all follow. For example. Some bins were out but had big sheets over them. Apparently, no one is allowed to sift through those until they take the sheets off. So there were people lined up all around the bin waiting for the last to take the sheet off. Everyone was friendly- it wasn't a feeding frenzy or anything. Overall---- this experience will not be for everyone. My boyfriend who usually likes to thrift shop with me did not like it there. It was too disorganized and the clutter was closing in on him. Hehe... He was silently ready to go about 10 minutes in. But I see a ton of potential here and I plan to return. Highlight for me was definitely the glassware section. I saw some crystal stemware and a lot of cool serving dishes and bowls. In the back there was some-- not much-- furniture but I wasn't sure what the system was for purchasing them, so I didn't explore very much. read more

Do not work here. You will be deliberately pulled into a poverty loop, always living weak paycheck to weak paycheck, with vague promises of more, which they double back on. Managers make less than teenagers do at McDonald's. They will withhold paid leave and bonuses and blame you for it. Mediocrity is rewarded. Backbiting and gossip are condoned. It is disorganized, no one is in charge, and the environment is awful for physical health. Do not work here. read more

Manager Kristy is rude and kicks people out who are unable to wear medical devices on their faces - even ignoring medical waivers. This review has been taken down before. Donate to a local non-profit and don't inflate these corporate salaries. read more

Employees here are super unfriendly and rude unlike ALL the other goodwills in town. Unwritten rules about which bin you can look in??? A lady yelled at me today because I was looking in an area IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORE that apparently was restricted??? I don't get this place. If you're looking for a friendly shopping experience, this is not the place for that. I bought a pillow, despite being yelled at, and the lady at the checkout was trying to argue with me about whether or not it was a pillow. Why do you care lady? Avoid this place. read more

It's hit or miss- sometimes has a funky smell, but man are there some treasures to be found- for Pennies! It's fun to spend an hour just looking through the bins... never know what you might find! read more

I found so many good things here! Now, if you don't love searching thorough giant bins then I wouldn't suggest going here, but to me, I loved it! I will say it does get crowded in there, and if you don't stay there for at least 2 hours it may not be worth it! read more

I went to the Goodwill Outlet on a Sunday afternoon. I like that this outlet has windows in it, where as the Phoenix outlet, is a darker warehouse with no windows. However, this whole building smells of stale cigarettes. The smells are very powerful, I recommend a dust mask. The workers were friendly and hard working. The large blue bins were rotated frequently. There is a lot of clothing and Knick knacks. The main prices were: $1.49 a lb for clothing .89 a lb for hard goods Furniture as marked I didn't see a ton of quality while I was there. I mainly got 10 lbs of generic vintage clothing and a blanket, for a little over $14 A large amount of customers were very aggressive when it came to new bins being put out. They would come in, elbow to elbow, so that people they didn't like couldn't squeeze in. Then the took piles and put them in their carts. Then after the hype of the fresh bin was over, they went back to their carts to them see what they had. If these more aggressive customers didn't want you near them, they also continuously push bad clothing on top of the pile you are looking at, so that you have trouble digging. The overall value is very good. The employees seemed good as well. The only draw backs are the overpowering smells & the aggressive deal hunters. read more

WOW! Love this store! Came down from Tempe to check out some southwest treasures! I'm into vintage clothing and definitely found some great pieces. Not as chaotic as other Goodwill outlets I've been to and lots of clothing! New stuff every 30 min. Clothing/bags/electronics. Decent furniture as well. Like 6 bucks for a couch! $1.19 a pound for clothing and $.69 lb for hard goods. Will definitely be back! read more
