We went during a cloudy afternoon so it was the perfect activity. I got to observe the new bin rush from the side, and later participate in one as well. I get people are enthusiastic even outside the new bin drops, but some large parties kept hogging side sections when I was trying to go through them in a flow. I kept thinking about other things I wanted to see/do in the Twin Cities though so couldn't lock in to the level I really wanted. Next time I'll need to spend a whole day here and be more liberal with my narrowing down step. Unfortunately not trying on everything at my friend's apartment wasn't a good idea because now I'm back in Texas and some items don't fit right.

There are rows of bins, probably 40-60 in the store, and they are filled with clothes, household items, shoes, games, etc! At first glance most of it is less then appealing, but there are definitely hidden gems in these bins! I walked away with a jacket and top for my partner and pants for me! No dressing rooms. There are a ton of people there typically too, so be prepared to be in close proximity and searching bins together! Some of the bins smelled and overarchingly the experience is a little gross when you think about it too long haha. Being gloves if you want and wash up after, you'll be fine! They switch out the bins maybe every 30mins-1 hour, and this is when you find the best stuff that hasn't been picked over. The staff was friendly enough. I was surprised by the prices. You pay by the pound, which is cool! I still expected it to cost less though haha. It was roughly $4/piece for everything I got. Again nothing crazy and good prices for thrifting, but I still expected it to be "dirt cheap" given these items are at their final destination. Overall it's a place I'll come once or twice a year to mix up my thrifting :)

**June 2025: Saturday Morning Visit**…read more This was my FAVORITE thrift shop in Minneapolis. There were just so many treasures to be found and at pretty reasonable prices. Items are all individually priced and on my visit several of my items were half off! Below are what items I got and the pricing White short boots $3 Red short sleeve sweater $3.99 Khaki shorts $2.99 Pink puff sleeve top $3.99/2 = $2, Black evening sequin jacket $6.99/2 = $3.50 Total: $15.48 Obviously every trip to a charity shop is a treasure hunt, but I think the clientele that must donate here all may come from well-to do families because there were some really great things. There were a couple of designer dresses that I really loved but unfortunately were to small. *cries* Suffice to say this St Vincent De Paul is a great shop to patron! Enjoy!

Picked up 2 wool scarves, a calendar, and some Easter decor for $11. I found a pair of TIBI jeans (valued at $499!!) for $19.99 but they were too small, so sad! The parking on a Saturday is a bit wild because of the restaurants next store but if you go into the neighborhood they'll be open spots.

I was greeted on entry by one of the employees, who kindly explained that each little section was its own thing based on what people brought in (I've seen antique shops laid out this way, so I was familiar with this style of shopping). He let me know that anything I wanted to try on I could just grab and take to the back at my own leisure, or if I wanted him to hold onto anything in the front to free up my hands as I browsed, he could do that too. For those that make clothing decisions along gender expression lines, FYI this store leans femme, probably 80% or more; most of the shop isn't masc. I'll honestly wear whatever fits and imo looks good on me, so no worries here. I was lightly amused when the employee took one look at my dude self and assured me there was "some Harley Davidson stuff and Carhartt" in the back, LOL. So anyway, I ended up buying a bunch of different colored tie-dye crop tops. X'D (All for only three bucks a piece! Steal!) The shop is well-lit and has natural lighting as well, which makes the shopping experience feel relatively light and airy, especially for a thrift store. The aisles are a little tight, but that just means more great stuff to search through and find thrifted treasure! I was especially impressed by the roomy and almost elegant styled dressing rooms, which were far more pleasant than most dressing rooms I'm accustomed to-- you know the ones... cramped, under fluorescent lighting... ugh. So these dressing rooms were a real breath of fresh air! They even had a little area just beside them with comfy chairs and toys for your spouse or kiddo to wait while trying things on. There is also a gender neutral bathroom available towards the back. Even checkout was fun, as interacting with the employees was pleasant. The male employee was thoughtfully considering aloud that I, also a dude, was buying cute crop tops, and I ended up encouraging him to consider showing off a little belly in our upcoming warm weather, letting him know I'd been encouraging my own husband to show off his cute bod. I love when I can go someplace and help break down a few silly gender norms while supporting local biz-- doesn't get much better than that! I maybe wish I'd discovered this place sooner! (Though perhaps my wallet is glad I didn't, lol.) I'm sure to be back in the future. And maybe I'll even inquire when they'll have a consignment opening... I have some stuff I should probably rotate out of my closet, including some plushies that deserve a new loving home. And that's the magic of thrifting! I'll stop raving now. Unfortunately I was advised that I would have to leave the device there for unforeseen amount of time . No one even looked at the devices we brought even though we bought the devices there That no one would be able to fix it and basically that I lost over $500 wasted my time and money at this business I would not recommend buying anything here as they're selling things that are either not working correctly or still have a old account and they're refusing to remove the old account from the account from the device.
