Goodwill is a for profit business. They operate on the public's ignorance. They treat their employees like trash. They aren't paid fairly. They are over worked. Items of value that are donated are shipped to their online store warehouse to be sold for an extreme price with ridiculous shipping. A lot of the clothing donated goes in the landfill. You aren't helping your community by dumping your items here. Local independent shops are much better to donate to. They help the community and they keep costs low to pass that on to the people who need thrift store to survive. Goodwill has started pricing items to retail prices or above. It's ridiculous. Support your local, independent thrift store! Goodwill isn't it. read more

Had 10 baby t-Shirts that were identical and found out one did not have a price on it. Anyone could see it was exactly like the other 9 but the cashier said I couldn'buy it without a sticker on it. I asked if she could ask a manager and she said, "NO, you will have to come back tomorrow if you want to buy it". The next week I wanted to buy a pan, again, no price on it but they had another one identical to it with a price on it. I took the one not priced to a male clerk to get it priced and he took it from me and said I could buy it tomorrow. Instead of buying both pans, I walked away with none. There are a few good employees there, but I've come across a few that can be rude. I donate things a lot and the man that takes the donations is very rude! I now go down the road to Salvation Army who seems happy to get the donations! read more

Just bought a set of vintage glasses with a heavy gold design. Got them home and when trying to remove all of the tape that they put on them, it ripped the gold off, plus one was chipped under all of the tape. Took them back and the manager was very dismissive about taking them back. He said because they weren't clothing or electronics he couldn't do anything. Didn't offer a credit or an exchange. Wouldn't be a big deal, if they didn't try to charge antique store prices. read more

ABSOLUTELY DONT VISIT!! I came in with my friends(We are teenager). We tried on clothes only ones we wanted to buy. After we finished we respectfully put things away that we used, mind you there was already a mess before we got there. We all went up to pay and the workers started shouting at us that we need to clean up, that they don't have time to do it and how it wasn't there job. So me and my friend went back to clean and we were screamed at but we stayed respectful and told them it wasn't us but would still clean it. She then went on about how she knew it was us. I just felt disrespected even though we tried not to be stereotypical teenagers. (We are also people of color) It just wasn't right and weren't even rude to anyone. DONT COME HERE!!!!! read more

This experience made me create a yelp account. No bathrooms, no fitting rooms. Made me walk down the street to Meijer to use the bathroom instead of unlocking the restroom door for me. I love thrift shopping! I heard about this place opening a few weeks ago, and stopped in to see what they have. The place is nice, clean and spacious. Plenty of items to choose from and the prices are great! They have a separate drive up donation area which is pretty cool. Plenty of parking and the place is easy to find. Bathrooms are neat and clean, and the store is pretty well stocked. I've noticed that Michigan doesn't have a ton of Goodwill's, and that most of the second hand stores are Salvation Army's. It's nice to have Goodwill's around here, especially ones that are clean (because not all are!) I really enjoy shopping here, and it doesn't feel "thrifty" at all. Stock seems to rotate on the regular, which is good if your a consistant shopper like me. read more

Extremely rude. Been donating at Goodwill all over, but this was our first time at this one, and it will be the last.

This used to be my favorite store. I gave a review some time ago when things started going downhill. They have gotten much worse. In these times, they are now doing price ups. No more 50% off days, no color weeks, etc. Racks are so crowded you can't get a good look at the items. They are also priced the same in good or bad condition! Furniture is not in very good condition if you can get it at all. Clothing sizes are not in the S-M-L-sections etc, but all mixed up. All in all, they have lots of "Stuff", but nothing and I mean nothing special. It's a hassle to even try and shop here. The last few times, I leave without anything. read more

This store is outrageous. Racks of pants had a 14.99 dollar sign on the rack. No matter what the pants looked like or how worn they were. I can buy new ones for that. I was looking for a little bath mat, NO rugs at all. I found a set of three crew socks, new, same price as Meijer. A vase for 5.99?? Everything was overpriced and it didn't matter what shape it was in. Is Goodwill a "for profit" organization? I bought nothing and left shaking my head thinking "these people are crazy". read more

Horrible .. management is horrible at this location. Makes the entire process redundant and not helpful for paying customers at all. I'm never shipping at this location Again. Manager wouldn't price an item that was clearly intended to. Purchase . Probably because it was something to ray wanted to buy themselves. I went to the store last night before closing and bought over $60 worth of stuff. I come home and half of my items are not in the bag. I tried calling as soon as they opened this morning, but their answering system is on a loop. It says to press 3 to speak with an associate but once I do, it just goes back to the beginning of the pre-recorded answering system. What kind of business does not have a working phone? read more

Iv been to this goodwill a few times, and have found some amazing deals, clothes, and things. However, a few of the employees are very rude. Iv had unpleasant experiences with more than one of the employees being rude to me on more than one occasion :( they're very passive aggressive. Make you never want to come back. read more

I dropped off donation today, handing the employee hand full of items out of my trunk at a time. While I was waiting for him to return he yelled to someone "This lady is handing me 2 to 3 fuc**** things at a time". When he returned I told him I heard him and that I didn't have any boxes. I don't think he cared I heard him or apologized. If you patronize this store be prepared to deal with rude employees. read more

Let me start by saying I have shopped and donated to this location since it was built. The last time I donated several large bags of various items the man accepting them was very rude and not helpful. Ex. They have large bins about 4 ft. Tall, they were all full .you needed to put each bag in different bins based on what was in them. I had to walk all around my truck putting them in different bins that were all Full. I couldn't lift them that high, I struggled so hard. He just stood there. I said never again. Today I had 4 or5 bags I thought maybe he had a bad day or there will be someone else. Nope . Same guy I had recently got a walking device it was on top of the bags, I kept pulling the bags and moving the walker it was stuck.i had to go around to the other door to free it up. Finally I got them all out. Mind you I have a handi cap placard hanging off my mirror , maybe I don't look like I need help. But I sure did.
