Tried and True is a well run shop.  There is plenty of parking around back.  They accept donations as well as sell quality items for reasonable prices.  They have a nice selection of knick-knacks.  Their clothing is clean and they have a wide selection in many sizes.  The clothing is stylish and in good condition. From time to time they have very good furniture bargains.  You just never know what's going to show up. The staff here is very interested in providing a quality service and they are very good at customer service.  I enjoy going here as I am usually assured, if not a good conversation, a nice exchange of pleasantries which always brightens my day. This thrift store just opened today in the heart of depot town, Ypsilanti. The couple who owns it…read moreare going to use all the proceeds to help those in need in the area. In fact, in front of the cash register there are free items such as health and beauty products, socks, and non perishable foods. These are free to anyone. I was at the front door today when the opened and the owner was excited to greet us all and walk us inside. There are two sides to the shop. Inside the door is the decorative things and kitchen items. Along with the cash register. The other side of the store has clothing, shoes, games and puzzles. Clothing is sorted by color in men's, women's, and children. There is also a fitting/storage room to try on clothing. I love this!!! I spent quite some time in here because it seemed like I was always seeing something new. Be sure to look on the walls and window displays. I found some of my favorite finds in the windows. I'm so excited about this new thrift store. The owner said they will constantly be putting out new things so that makes me want to park it there. Lol If you love thrift shopping, be sure to check out The Thrift Depot. There is some parking behind the building and a parking lot just to the west of the building.
